All Power — With Responsibility

Matthew 28:18-19

After the resurrection, Jesus declared: "All power is given to me in heaven and in earth." Not most power — all power. The original Greek meaning of all is all. Without which there is no other power.

But this power is not in vain. Verse 19 says, "Go therefore." With power comes responsibility.

There is a reason why a man is physically stronger. He is built to protect — not to abuse. The purpose of that strength is protection. With power comes responsibility. And the purpose of this power is for a mission.

Salt and Light

Matthew 5:13-16

"You are the salt of the earth" — but if the salt loses its savor, it is good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden under the foot of men.

"You are the light of the world. A city set upon a hill cannot be hid."

One is covert, one is overt. Salt is subtle — it comes into a system and seasons it without making noise. But light is direct. It comes into darkness and takes authority over darkness.

The purpose of light is not decoration — it is illumination. The purpose of light is not intimidation — it is illumination. Believers are not supposed to intimidate each other in the church. They are to look for where darkness is and light it up.

Isaiah 60:1-3

"Arise, shine, for your light is come." Though darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, the Lord shall arise upon thee. And the Gentiles — the people in the dark — will come to your light. Kings will come to the brightness of your rising.

The State of the World

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Paul warned Timothy: in the last days, perilous times shall come. Men shall be:

• Lovers of themselves — covetous, boastful, proud
• Disobedient to parents — both physical and spiritual
• Unthankful, unholy, without natural affection
• Trucebreakers — covenant breakers with no commitment
• Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God
• Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof

Romans 1:21-30

When men knew God, they glorified him not, became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. God gave them up to vile affections. Women exchanged natural use for what is against nature. Men burned with lust for other men. They became filled with wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, deception — and the Bible says they also invent new ways of sinning.

Areas Where Kingdom Culture Must Be Imposed

1. Marriage and Sexuality

The world projects marriage as optional, redefinable, and disposable. Any consenting adult can marry anyone. Sex is normalized outside marriage. Divorce is called a right. Gender is declared self-determined — but the Bible says male and female, created by God. Gender is not self-assigned.

Men are becoming increasingly feminine. In the days of Herod, Satan killed the boys. In the days of Pharaoh, he killed the boys. In our days, he turns the boys into girls. Every society needs to be built on the strength of men — men are built to protect.

2. Finance and Economics

Debt is normalized. Wealth has become the god. Gambling is everywhere. People are criticized for giving to church but can give anywhere else without scrutiny.

3. Justice and Law

Justice has become relative — determined by the rich or the majority. There is no longer absolute truth in the public square.

Nuclear family is now optional. The children belong to the state in many nations. Parental rights are secondary. Discipline is called abuse. Gentle parenting has produced irresponsible children. Gender ideology is being taught in schools and cartoons.

Our Weapons

1. The Word of God

   Hebrews 4:12 — The word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. Believers are not moved by what the majority says, what the influencer says, or what is most popular. They are moved by what the word says. The word is the standard.

2. Prayer

   Isaiah 58:6-7 — Praying and fasting to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free. Prayer must return to the church — not just prayer for bread and butter, but prayer that the kingdom of God will come. Let it be seen in schools, marketplaces, and institutions.

3. Righteous Living

   Titus 2:8 — Sound speech that cannot be condemned, that those of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil to say. Righteous living is a silent confrontation to the darkness of the world. Living above sin and reproach is itself an imposition of light.

4. Bold Proclamations

   Acts 4:29 — A silent church cannot quieten a noisy world. Some are too timid. Afraid of what people might say on social media. The Muslims are saying they want to take over the world — believers must say their own too. What is sin is sin. What is a lie is a lie. There is no such thing as your truth and my truth. Speak the truth fearlessly.

5. Strategic Action and Excellence

   Luke 19:13 — "Occupy till I come." It did not say wait for me till I come. Occupy real estate. Occupy government. Occupy finance. Occupy education. Occupy medicine. Work as though Jesus is not coming today.

   Daniel 6:3 — Daniel distinguished himself and was promoted. Be the best employee. Best business owner. Best at anything. Project excellence in skill, in practice, in art. Work can become an expression of worship. Excellence earns a platform to be heard.

What Believers Must Do

• Renew the mind daily — Romans 12:2. Deprogram from worldly thinking by saturating in the scriptures. Unsubscribe from ungodly media. Stop following pages that project ungodliness.
• Raise kingdom children — Do not leave children to be raised by society, schools, or cartoons. It is the parent's responsibility to train children in the way they should go. Discipline them. Home school where necessary. Actively speak identity into them.
• Vote in every election — Every kingdom citizen must have their voter's card. God does not have a PVC. With a voter's card, there is power to enshrine and impose God's culture over a nation. Believers cannot be in political apathy.

A silent church cannot quieten a noisy world. The world is loudly projecting what it thinks is right. Believers must refuse to participate in the corruption and tell the world what is right.

Joshua 1:9 — Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified. Do not be afraid. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
