Becoming a Kingdom Financial

A kingdom financial is one who serves God with their money — by giving and releasing their finances into kingdom projects and programs. Such people do not see money as anything to hold on to. They release it for the work, and as a result, money always pursues them.

Matthew 6:19-21, Acts 4:37. To become a kingdom financial, begin by changing your mentality. Wealth and riches belong to God — Psalm 24:1. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he — Proverbs 23:7.

Begin by making up your mind to release your finances into the work of God. If you are not paying tithe, change that today. God says in Malachi 3:10, bring all the tithe that there may be meat in my house, and prove me if I will not open the windows of heaven. Give and it shall be given unto you — Luke 6:38. Anything worth doing is worth doing now.

God First, Family Next, Health Third

There are divine priorities every person pursuing wealth must honour.

Family priority is not optional. There are three quadrants in raising a strong family:

• Friendship — The best way to show your children you love them is to be friends with their mother. Intercourse does not begin in the evening — it begins in the morning with smiling, excitement, and warmth.
• Fellowship — Every member of the family must be united to one God. Wake up in the morning and pray before anyone steps outside. Family altar is not optional.
• Followership — God has made the man the head. The more you love God, the more you love your spouse. A three-fold cord cannot be broken. Lead well — a leader who is not leading properly should not expect followership.

Your health is your wealth. Three causes of sickness:

1. Chemical imbalance — What you eat is medicine. Natural, organic food carries full nutritional potency. Frying and baking reduce the value of nutrients.
2. Sin — Psalm 103:3, Isaiah 53:5, John 5:14. Sin opens the door to sickness and vulnerability to demonic attack. Living a holy life is also health wisdom. Even lying raises your blood pressure.
3. Demonic attack — Some sickness is fired at people like it was fired at Job. That is why we pray and command healing by authority.

Fire — The Platform for Wealth

Fire must come before harvest comes. The God that answers by fire, let him be God — 1 Kings 18:24. Fire is the language of heaven. Hebrews 12:29. Joel 2:1-5 — a fire goes before them.

• Fire commands attention. When a man carries fire, it cannot be ignored. Where you were ignored, fire announces you. Where you were disrespected, fire brings honour. Exodus 3:2-3 — Moses saw the burning bush and was attracted. When fire falls, you command attention.
• Fire has colour. You cannot carry fire and lack colour, vigour, or flavour. Fire gives you splendour, honour, and distinction. White fire is light. Blue fire is the most intense — it is what fell on Mount Carmel and licked up water. When you carry fire, you carry colour.
• Fire exposes. Acts 28:1-6 — Paul carried sticks not knowing a viper was inside. When the heat came, the fire exposed the serpent. There are things hiding in your life you are not aware of. Fire will smoke them out. When fire comes, anything hidden will be exposed.
• Fire refines and purifies. Zechariah 3:2. There are habits and addictions that fire breaks. Habits of wastefulness, immorality, lying, anger — it takes the purifying fire to be set free. You love Jesus, but you need refining. Come before the only one who can help you.
