Anointed with Holy Ghost and Power

Acts 10:38 says God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. Notice: Jesus was anointed with Holy Ghost and power. Not power alone.

There is a generation that loves power but does not want fellowship with the Holy Spirit. They want to say to mountains, "Be removed," but they cannot spend time in the presence of God. They cannot pray in the Holy Ghost. They cannot meditate on the Word. But the Lord is clear: you must love the Holy Ghost to get power. You must love the sweet Spirit of God to walk in a dimension of power that will rattle your generation.

The Multifaceted Anointing

The anointing Jesus carried was not concentrated in one environment. He went about — he went everywhere. The same oil that healed the sick worked in the marketplace, in government, in relationships, against demons. The seven manifestations of the Spirit in Isaiah 11:2 are all one Spirit: the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, might, and the fear of God.

Do not limit your anointing to one domain. If you can raise the dead, you can attract kings. If you can cast out demons, that means you can bring in angels. Your anointing is not just for church — it is for your career, your business, your family, your community. The same oil hits every area.

The anointing you carry is anti-demonic. Everywhere you go, you carry a property that is hostile to the darkness. When Jesus walked into a gathering, demons screamed. Some people start disliking you for no apparent reason the moment you enter — that is the anti-demonic property at work.

Anointed for Gates

The lame man in Acts 3 was laid at the gate of the temple called Beautiful. The word gate in Scripture always speaks of dominion. Gate is the dominion arena. So the destiny of this man was going to be determined at the arena of dominion.

When God begins to pour oil on you, when you begin to feel an arising in your spirit, it is always a pointer to dominion. Power must change hands. Every time you are about to crush the head of the serpent, the serpent will react. That is how you know you are dominating — things begin to react.

You are anointed to take charge of the gate. Your anointing is not just for your room. It is for the real estate industry, the hospitality industry, finance, governance, education. It is for the marketplace. Stop limiting it.

Anointed to Introduce Jesus

Peter and John said to the lame man, "Look on us." They were saying: if you want to find Jesus, we are the first people you will find. The capacity to make things happen is not in them — but they represent him.

The question every believer must answer is: are you look-onable? Can a generation look at you and say, "I see Jesus"? Can someone look at you and say, "Because of you, I will serve God"? You are anointed to introduce Jesus. Wherever you go, you should be unable to conceal it — the anointing announces you before you speak.

The Fuel: Fellowship with God

Peter and John went to the temple at the hour of prayer. The first major miracle in Acts happened during the hour of prayer. If prayer were not important, Scripture would not have underlined it. The anointing increases through fellowship.

Never forget the secret place. Life will one day present you the report card of the morning devotions you skipped, the Holy Spirit promptings you ignored, the times the Lord said "Speak in the Holy Ghost" and you turned away. Fellowship with God brings to bear the fullness of all divine life inside of you. You are not doing God a favor — you are feeding yourself.

One smile from an anointed person restored peace. One glance changed a room. You do not know what you carry until you begin to walk in it. But the pipeline between you and the source is fellowship. Do not joke with your secret place.
