God is a supernatural God.

The faith life is also a supernatural life.

God furthermore desires that we experience both the supernatural and the miraculous.

The supernatural and the miraculous are not the same - one is derived from the other.

The miraculous deals with supernatural intervention, where God steps in over the affair of men to correct, create, adjust, to produce, to bring back, to correct an anomaly. The miraculous is usually needed if and when there is a variation to status quo or a compromise of order.

It is only needed in the life of a man when the due process or the normal course of things have been tempered with.

Factors responsible for tempering with the normal processes

1. The carelessness or ignorance of men themselves
2. Or demonic interference

The supernatural generically talks about a more superior realm and a dimension of living. Not everyone needs the miraculous, everyone needs the supernatural.

Examples of the supernatural

1. Encounters
2. Illumination
3. Impartation

Both the miraculous and the supernatural pass through the dimension of wisdom and power.

Wisdom is concerned with delivering divine answers and solutions, whereas power is concerned with divine intervention.

1 Corinthians 1:24

More people suffer from a poor mindset translated to poor decisions than they are of demonic attacks

The beauty of Christianity is that there is a beautiful blend of wisdom and power.

Why many people do not receive from God

1. A lack of defined expectation
2. Lack of sensitivity
3. Lack of faith
4. Dishonor to prophetic instructions - either through disobedience or familiarity John 2:10-11, Matthew 13:54-55
5. Refusal to acknowledge and glorify God through thanksgiving and testimonies Psalms 22:22
