Deliverance, healing, help, progress

Where the word of God goes, that's where His power goes

The power of God will always move in the direction of His word

• If God releases a word of healing, the power operates as the healing anointing
• If God speaks breakthrough, the power is released as the breaker anointing

God's power responds to His word. The assignment of God's power is to bring confirmation and validation to His word

Do not get used to the goodness of God

Many sincere, consecrated preachers are frustrated because ministry seems to refuse to work: in participation, membership, resources, access to light, capacity, the ability to demonstrate the power of God to bring solutions

For every manifestation of God's good hand, be intentional about saying thank you

Giving: 2 things to avoid

1. Donation mentality

   • For the believer it is partnership, not donation
   • We are co-labourers with Christ, bringing the gift of our time, our energy and our resources
   • Give without coercion, from your heart. Pastors, businessmen, captains of industry, young people and old established people, all participate
   • Do not leave giving to only the wealthy and established. It is not a wise mentality for a believer

2. Giving emotionally

   • Church people can get overly emotional and make unreasonable decisions
   • Be thoughtful. Discuss with your spouse and leadership and make an informed, quality decision, but let it come from the depth of your heart

Give cheerfully, not grudgingly, for God loves a cheerful giver. Pray in the spirit while you give. You can tie an expectation to it by faith. It is scriptural

The 4 words

1. Deliverance

   Psalm 70:1, Psalm 40:13

   Help can come too late. Help must be timely

   Deliverance goes beyond casting out demons. The word deliver means salvation, to salvage from a spirit influence or from a negative condition

   Deliverance is separation from spirits that afflict your tripartite being: spirit, soul and body

   • The unbeliever has no protection. Satan can influence his spirit, mind and body
   • For the believer, salvation happens to your spirit first. Satan can no longer possess your spirit
   • But he can still operate through the soulish and bodily realm
   • Demons can take possession of your thoughts and produce the same effect as a man who is possessed

   • Your poor thinking and disjointed understanding can become a gateway for him to manipulate your life
   • Satan can afflict even the body of believers. That is why we are told to resist the devil
   • Most sicknesses are caused by spirit influences. They influence your mind, you make decisions in defiance of the law of health and life, and you begin to deteriorate

   Deliverance is also separation from negative and unfavourable conditions

   • You may not be possessed, but you can be under the influence of negative antichrist conditions, mountains and unfavourable circumstances

2. Healing

   Jeremiah 30:17

   Healing is a restorative process. Like deliverance, healing is tripartite

   • Spirit: the healing of the spirit is salvation. There is also the strengthening of a man's spirit. A broken spirit dries up the bones, so a spiritual problem can affect you physically
   • Soul: soulish wounds are real wounds, as real as a physical injury. Trauma, child abuse and all sorts of things can remain in a person, even a minister, until the healing ministry gets them out
   • Body: healing from bodily conditions. There are all kinds of satanic diseases and hybrid conditions with variations. Jesus gave us the power to heal

   God's greatest plan for our well-being is health. Because of many things, some on our part and some by reason of wearing an earthbound body, there will be bodily conditions. So God has put systems in place to help us, one of which is medicine

   Science is not anti-spirituality. Spirituality wears many bodies to find expression on the earth: science, technology, arts, medicine. When a vehicle moves from one place to another, that is the supernatural at work and we call it mechanics because we understand the laws of motion

   Science can be limited. When the doctors say we have exhausted all we know to do, the great physician says come, and He takes that devil out of your body

   • I receive the ministry of the great physician.
   • This cancer must die right now. This headache, this ulcer must die.
   • This bone condition must be joined.
   • This inexplicable medical condition must die in Jesus' name.

3. Help

   Help means to provide assistance and support so as to make a task easier, to improve a situation or to achieve a goal

   Psalm 86:17, Psalm 46:1, Isaiah 41:13

   • He is a very present help in trouble, not when the trouble is done with you. He comes in the midst of it as the fourth man in the fire
   • Fear not. It will not swallow you. You have seen the worst of it
   • Problems have their boundary. Thus far you have come, no further shall you go

   Surely there is an end. I will see the end of this pain. It will not see the end of me. The joy in my life will outlast the pain

   Nighttime is a painful season in the life of a believer. You live in the silence of God. You pray, fast, seek counsel, cry, ask questions, and it looks like the heavens are closed. What the morning does after the night is what water does to a thirsty soul

   Joy is like an aircraft. It looks like it is joking, but when it lifts in your life, it takes you high. Your joy will swallow up your tears. Genesis 21:6

   Help has two assignments: to make things possible and to make things easy

   2 ways God helps people in the kingdom

   1. God helps by giving you access to His mercy
   2. God helps by introducing you to the ministry of men

      • God can use men to help financially, with a job, with opportunity. Every problem created by man, God can empower man to solve
      • The speed of actualizing destiny is at the mercy of the level of help you get. One man receives help once and after 10 years has taken two steps. Another receives help and in one month makes a quantum leap
      • God puts favour in the heart of a man towards you. People arise in strange ways to support all that you represent and ease burdens from your life
      • Part of help is to fight your battles, because battle winning is capacity dependent. There are men in the flesh who are greater than you. God brings someone who says, walk behind me while I open the doors for you

   Ordinary men helped by God

   May God use men to help you in business, in ministry, in raising your children, in supporting your destiny. I receive help.

4. Progress

   Genesis 26:13

   3 meanings of progress

   1. Continuous forward movement, growth and development
   2. Continuous improvement in skill, understanding and overall well-being
   3. Measurable movement towards a specific goal, or the gradual realization of a personal desire

   Progress is one of the cardinal indices that measure fulfillment and happiness: the degree to which you perceive you are making progress, or actually make it

   The opposite of progress is stagnation. You are standing still spiritually, financially, destiny wise. The only thing that moves is your age. There are chains that hold men bound

   Forward march. Financially, spiritually, destiny wise, maritally. I turn that red light to a green light. Forward march.

   Forward march means

   • Receive the wealth required for the next season
   • A job, a spouse, the fruit of the womb, promotion
   • Fresh anointing to do exploits at a higher level
   • Ideas and witty inventions
   • Strategic relationships, dreams and visions that give strategy
   • Help and helpers
   • The chain that held you down like Peter be broken
   • Complete that project. Receive the finisher's anointing

   Going forward depends a lot on your economic capacity

   4 things progress demands

   1. Your mind must be sound. A madman cannot make progress
   2. Your vision must be intact. If you cannot see, you cannot move forward easily
   3. Coordination of all your systems. A part of you that is paralyzed cannot cooperate with your mind
   4. Strength. The journey is far and you need strength to pray and to advance

   • Father, I go forward. Every obstacle stopping my advancement, I break it now.
   • I make progress spiritually, prophetically, in every area of my life.
   • By You I have run through a troop. By my God I have leapt over a wall.

   There are two channels to release your faith: your words and your actions of obedience. Without them you do not have faith

Be responsible

Being educated does not mean you leave your parents suffering. Help them while God lifts you

Be responsible and discerning enough to know trouble when you see it. Borrowing, borrowing, borrowing from loan apps can take a 50,000 debt beyond 6 million

3 ways to get out of debt

1. Self-examination and genuine repentance

   • When you find yourself in a hole, the first key is to stop digging
   • Ask how you got here. Was it my fault?

2. Go and own up to those you owe

   • Do not let your creditors be the ones to look for you
   • If they will not receive you, go with an elderly person of repute and tell the whole truth, not half the story
   • Ask for time while you think of strategy, and trust God for grace

3. Seek counsel

   • The mentality that put you in trouble cannot bring you out of it. You need someone to supply new information
   • Debt is a habit, an addiction like drugs. Some people earn so much yet are in debt
