Quick Recap: Key Concepts of Dominion

Three foundational concepts govern dominion:

• The supremacy of God — dominion flows from under his government, not independent of it
• Man as the principal worker on earth — nothing in the earth realm happens without man's participation and cooperation
• Satan as the determined adversary — who fights to thwart the purposes of God at every level

Key redefinitions:

• Power — the capacity to influence outcomes; the force that compels compliance
• Authority — the legitimacy to administer power. To have authority, you must be under authority. The centurion understood this: "I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me." Your authority remains valid only as long as you remain in submission to heaven's government.
• Jurisdiction — authority is always defined and limited. The believer has authority over Satan and unclean spirits, over negative circumstances that interrupt God's program, and to administer life as a lifegiving spirit. But not over everything. Angels are not commanded by believers — they execute the will of God. When you speak the word, they obey the word, not you.

Five foundational areas of knowledge every believer must develop:

1. Know God and Jesus Christ experientially — Daniel 11:32: the people that know their God shall do exploits
2. Know yourself in light of who Christ is — you are derived from his fullness
3. Know your place in God's program — dominion cannot be effectively executed outside the will of God

4. Know the mysteries of the kingdom — every possibility has a corresponding body of spiritual information
5. Know Satan as your adversary — study how he works, not to magnify him, but to be equipped against him

Our spiritual knowledge as a body of Christ is largely freelanced — a little from one conference, a little from one book, scattered and incomplete. The same way a degree demands structured, sequential, aggregated learning, so does spiritual knowledge. A pastor's assignment is to feed you with structured, wholesome knowledge.

Jeremiah 3:15

"I will give you pastors according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding."

The Three Scopes of Dominion

Job 38:33

"Do you know the ordinances of heaven? Can you establish their dominion upon the earth?"

1. Creation and Manifestation

   The first scope of dominion is the ability to transport realities from the realm of the spirit and give them their frame within the material realm.

   Genesis 1:1-3 — In the beginning, God created. The earth was formless and void. Then God spoke: "Light be" — and light was. He pulled reality from the realm of the spirit and gave it material form.

   Hebrews 11:3 — The worlds were framed by the word of God. The things that are seen came from the realm of the unseen.

   Ephesians 1:3 — God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. These blessings are in the realm of the spirit. You may look resourceless today — but there are unlimited resources in the spirit waiting to be transported by the technology of prayer and declaration.

   Prayer is a bridge that transports realities. When you pray "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven," you are calling for a spiritual reality to be given its physical frame. You are not walking in dominion if you have not mastered the technology of pulling what is in the spirit into the material realm.

2. Correction, Restoration, and Compliance

   Sometimes you are faced with situations that are not as they were from the beginning. Your assignment is to bring correction, restoration, and compliance.

   Ezekiel 37 — Ezekiel stood in a valley of dry bones — what was once a mighty army. God asked: "Can these bones live?" Then he gave the instruction: "Prophesy to these bones." As Ezekiel prophesied, bone came to his bone. Structure was restored. Then God said, "Prophesy again to the four winds" — and breath came in, and they arose an exceeding great army.

   Bones to army — that is dominion. There are situations around your life that may look like dry bones — scattered, disconnected, seemingly dead. You are not given liberty to hunt for them one by one. You can stand in the understanding of dominion and begin to connect things. Bone can come to his bone under certain spiritual conditions. And when you speak to the four winds, life comes in.

   Restoration does not happen with time — there must be a man who says restore. "They are taken for a prey and none saith restore."

3. Maintenance and Preservation

   Matthew 5:13 — Jesus calls us the salt of the earth. Salt gives taste and preserves. One proof that you are walking in dominion is the longevity and sustainability of results.

   You can receive things by leveraging another person's anointing and covenant — like Lot prospering under Abraham — but that kind of result does not last when proximity ends. Sustainable dominion comes from your own walk with God.

   If you enter three rooms — one dark for 10 years, one for 2 years, one for 5 minutes — and switch on the light in all three, which one comes on first? All at once. And for as long as that bulb remains on, does darkness gradually reassert itself? No. That is dominion. The path of the just shines more and more until the perfect day — not up and then down. Loving your yesterday more than today because yesterday was more glorious is not dominion. Sustainable impact is the proof of maintained light.

   Jesus accounted for all who were given to him: "None is lost except the son of perdition, that scripture might be fulfilled." That kind of stewardship — retaining what is committed to you — is dominion.

1. A Thorough Knowledge of the Promises and Principles of God

   John 8:32 — "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

   Luke 4:17 — When the book was delivered to Jesus, he opened it and found the place where it was written. You must find where your success is written. If you do not find it, it cannot become your reality. Leverage on another man's revelation is a starting point — but you must engage with the word until it becomes your own truth. "I found your word and I did eat it."

   The one who will not labor in the spirit to contend for high-level illumination is the one who will be far from dominion. You will sing dominion, wish dominion, but never step into it.

2. A Thorough Knowledge of the Conditions Required to Activate the Promises

   Deuteronomy 28:1 — "It shall come to pass if thou shalt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God..." — then dominion follows. Your revelation is not complete until you have found your own participatory role.

   God cannot be given a list of lusts and asked to power them with grace. Promises are given under conditions. The same word that promises exaltation above nations also demands diligent obedience. Without finding your role, you will claim the promise without meeting the condition — and wonder why nothing changes.

   Joshua 1:8 — "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth. You shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do all that is written. Then you shall make your way prosperous and have good success." Note the sequence: meditate → do → prosperous. Not: desire → prosper.

   He puts spittle in the blind man's eyes and says, "Go wash in the pool of Siloam" — the miracle is released, but the man must walk to the pool. Six and a half times in Jordan will not heal Naaman. Seven exactly. God's conditions are precise.

3. The Faith to Engage the Promises So They Deliver

   Hebrews 4:1-2 — The gospel was preached to those in the wilderness as well as to us. But the word did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

   Faith is not the same as believing. Believing is part of the journey toward faith. Faith is the name given to the action of obedience you take as proof that you believe. Faith that is coming will not produce. Only faith that has come.

   When Jesus said "Come" on the water, he did not say Peter's name. The invitation remains open to anyone who hears it and takes the step. He still says come — come out of every limiting mindset, come out of what has held your family, come into the fullness of what I have prepared.

   The official spelling of faith in the kingdom is R-I-S-K. There are no human guarantees. But this is the victory that overcomes the world — even our faith. Build your faith deliberately:

   • Levels of faith: no faith, little faith, much faith, great faith, exceeding great faith
   • Faith grows as revelation grows and conviction deepens
   • Ordinary men only become extraordinary when they walk with an extraordinary God

4. Patience

   Hebrews 6:15 — After he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

   Many blessings are connected to seasons — you cannot rush them. But patience is not passivity. It is sustained engagement while you wait on God. Wait upon the Lord and mount up with wings — the key is not being conscious of flying, but of waiting. Speed comes from waiting.

The Coming Army

Before Jesus returns, there is a generation that will demonstrate such levels of dominion that the body of Christ has not seen before. This is not a cliche. The fathers who went before left prophecies with empty pages because they knew the story was not finished.

The coming revival will not be centered on one man on a crusade stage alone. It will be an intelligent distribution of men and women across every stratum of human activity — finance, medicine, government, education, entertainment — each one an apostle of the kingdom in their sphere. Still nameless in many cases, still being built in the cave of Adulam, still being furnished by the spirit.

The church is not going down — that would be an insult to the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The jealousy of God defends his agenda. He said, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
