The gates of hell will not prevail

• The sound of obituary will not be heard
• The attacks are ending now
• Financial luck is broken
• The veil is torn. Let the burden fall off. Let delay break
• The arrows are broken. Exchange of glory, be reversed
• The devil cannot bury you while you live
• Let the chains break. Let the shackles break. Let the bondage break
• Spiritual myopia, be reversed
• No destruction
• Their arrows are working against them
• Let there be restoration. Landmark of negativity, be reversed

You are more than a conqueror. You are triumphing daily. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

This sickness is not unto death, but it is for the glory of the Lord

What a gate is

When the Bible speaks of gates, we are not talking about metal placed near a concrete fence. We are talking about spiritual entities

The gate of hell is a spiritual entity designed to bring death Matthew 16:18

The gate is a marketplace

In Bible times markets were designed to fit into the gates of cities. A market is a place where exchanges take place. You give them money, they give you product

• Any exchange going on at any gate around my life, break by fire
• Let it be reversed right now. Let it be broken right now

The gate is where decisions are made

Proverbs 31:23

So when we say the gate of hell will not prevail, we are declaring to any decision, verdict, ordinance, declaration or proclamation made for you, by you, through you or on your behalf:

at the sound of your amen, let it be broken

The gate has a post of the watchmen

Wherever there is a gate, there is always a post of the watchmen. So the Bible is also talking about what is watching you

Any monitoring eye, monitoring your next move, your business, your next contract, your next celebration in order to abort it. The devil is a liar. Let it be broken right now

The gate determines access

Gates determine who enters and who does not. The gate of hell is designed not to allow you in

• Any gate of hell that has sworn I will not enter into what the Lord has designed for me, shout fire

Psalm 24:7

Any gate that asks who is God, what is your prayer, what is your fasting that I will open for you: they met the wrong person.

They came to the wrong church. They touched the wrong person. At the sound of your amen, let it be broken

The gate of Jericho

Joshua 6:1

• On your way to your new season, any gate that says from here to there, it will remain locked
• It will never be said about you, your children, your brother or your sister that they came to their transition gate and the gate was locked against them
• Any iron gate that has sworn to block you in this season, break

Three subjects in Matthew 16

The gate of hell, the kingdom of heaven with its keys, and Peter in the middle

The gate of hell is a realm of death

One person stands as the gate of hell. Another stands as the kingdom of God. A third is Peter, in the middle

The Bible did not say the gate of hell will not fight. It did not say the gate of hell will not confront you or try to unsettle you.

It says it will not prevail, and we know how it will end

I don't care if it has lasted 20 years. I don't care if it has lasted 30 years. Let it be terminated right now. The louder your amen, the weaker your enemy

Peter is in the middle after a powerful release of prophecy. Jesus has said flesh and blood did not reveal this to him. Then Jesus begins to unveil his agenda, that he will die

Peter takes Jesus aside and rebukes him: stop talking like that. Jesus had already said you are in the middle of something that wants you. However, I have given you the keys to prevail

Every day of your life you will find yourself in this kind of middle. Something is dragging your health, your career, your business. But he has given you the keys to make sure it does not prevail

From revelation to Get thee behind me Satan

In the same chapter Peter moves from revelation to being called Satan. How did that happen? Matthew 16:23

Jesus said Peter was an offence to him because he savoured not the things of God but the things of men

The word savour is from the Greek phroneo. It means to set your mind on a thing constantly, consistently

The mere fact that you got a revelation does not mean that, if you remove your mind from that revelation, you are still the one Jesus will clap for

You are not a believer because you believed. You are a believer because you are believing

You cannot say, Lord, yesterday I believed for healing and I was healed, so I am using my faith of yesterday for today.

No sir. Even right now, God, I am believing you. I cannot dwell on yesterday's revelation

Put yourself in the shoes of Peter. We have left all to follow you. You said in this life we will get the reward and we have not gotten one.

We left the catch of fish to follow you. Now you are telling me you are going to die

Peter, you fixed your eyes on me yesterday. Fix it today. Don't take it off.

Peter, you trusted me that I can fix it. You can't lose faith now.

Peter, I am the one that began a good work in your life. I do not start and the devil will finish.

Peter, you may not see the wind, you may not see the rain, but your valley will still be full of water.

Peter, you are in the middle. There is something trying to pull you so that everything I have spoken over your life will look like a lie.

Sometimes it comes with worry, anxiety, fear of tomorrow. Sometimes it makes you wonder, Lord, do I even know what is about to happen next

But don't forget, Peter, there is another one by your side. It is called the keys of the kingdom of heaven. I did not leave you by yourself

The keys

• Your prayer fire
• The word
• Fellowship with the centre
• Being on the altar
• Meditation

One thing you must do is set your mind on what you believe Romans 10:10

Don't let your mind shift. Keep believing. God is faithful. You will not be stranded. What he said he will do, he will still do

Don't lose the light, the hope, the faith, the passion. The same fire of yesterday, carry it today. The same prayer, the same passion

The devil attacks your mind

One of the beautiful ugly things the devil does when he comes at you is to attack your mind

You can be in a prayer meeting, praying everything, and your mind is lost. You are weak, tired, leaking spiritual energy

Strongholds try to eclipse the light God has brought to you. You are praying, you are in the service, but your mind is under siege

The devil will cause your mind to waver while the word is going on James 1:6 to James 1:7

One second you say, Lord, I'm worried. God says trust me, trust me. You say, Lord, I really want to trust you, but my heart fears. Those conversations go on in your mind

For every conversation you allow, a stronghold of negativity is built up. One thought you entertained became fear and anxiety

Proverbs 4:23

When the voice says, what if something goes wrong, tell it nothing will go wrong

• I have a sound mind
• Every imagination, every high thing that has exalted itself against the knowledge of God, every fear, every worry, every wrong emotion the devil has built up in my mind, break

2 Corinthians 10:5

Already bound, already loosed

Matthew 16:19

The original Greek does not have a simple future tense here. Two translations came close: the Amplified and the New American Standard Bible

Whatever you bind on earth will have already been bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will have already been loosed in heaven

Jesus is saying: I am not waiting for you to bind for it to be bound. It is already bound. What I need you to do is bind what is bound

If God is waiting for you to bind it, then Jesus did nothing at the cross Colossians 2:15

Those who think they can close your door: you cannot close what has already been loosed

Walk away from the mentality of works, that God is waiting for me to bind before he binds, or waiting for me to loose before he looses

All I need to do is appropriate what is already loosed into my life. That job is already loosed. The favour is already loosed. The access is already loosed. A new season is already loosed

Sometimes you find a quasi dead snake acting like it is still alive. It is not alive

Romans 10:8

Already bound by what Jesus did

This family suffers from premature death? Already bound. When I pray with my family, I bind what has already been bound

Ephesians 1:3

You will no longer say, if only I had bound enough, it would have been bound. No sir, it is already bound. Open your mouth and confirm what has already been loosed Proverbs 18:21

The devil does not want you to believe it has already been done. He wants you to believe you are the one that will do it

We don't pray for victory. We pray from victory. We are not fighting to win. We are fighting because we have won

The mindset changes everything. Your marriage has already been loosed

When you are bound to pray, the posture of your prayer will change. Scripture has told me what has been bound. Scripture has told me what has been loosed.

You can't bind it, speak against it, block it, sabotage it or hijack it. The best thing for you to do is to align

It is already too late for them to be poor. It is already too late for them to be stranded.

It is already too late for them to go back to where they were 3 years ago. It is already too late for them to see shame

Let them gather, let them gossip, let them slander. They cannot bind what God has loosed Isaiah 3:10

His brothers gathered to send him into captivity Genesis 37:20

He was sold to the Midianites. He was put in prison. He met the butler and the baker. By the time you know what is happening, he ended up before Pharaoh. And that dream stood

I don't care where you are now. One thing should be at the back of your mind: already bound, already loosed. I am walking into what he has loosed

Your life will be doing you like a movie, because you are walking into what has been loosed.

You will not struggle. You have access. The right people will find you.

The Lord will cause your lines to fall in pleasant places.

Imagine the host of heaven helped you bind it, and then gave you a cane and said, we have already bound it.

How many strokes of cane do you want to give this thing we have bound? Bring your stroke and flog it as many times as you can, because already bound, already loosed

Closing declarations

Let the blessings of those who have honoured the Lord with their offerings, their tithe and their partnership be your portion.

The devourer is rebuked for your sake. The windows of heaven are open, so that there will not be room enough to contain

May you go and step into a waiting miracle. It is already loosed and every negativity is already bound. I announce it is done
