Three Levels of Deliverance

1. Casting Out Spirit Influences

Behind every challenge is a spirit that sponsors its continuity. Deliverance is not complete when the spirit entities behind situations in people's lives are left there.

Three doorways that grant spirits access:

• Covenants
• Ignorance
• Disobedience

It is possible that a covenant is broken and the spirit still uses another channel to access your life. You must be aware of all the channels available.

2. Deliverance Through Transformation

This dimension comes through the teaching ministry of the Word. When Jesus delivered the man in Gadara (Mark 5:12-15), the Bible says they found him "sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind." Jesus didn't just cast out the devil and wave him away—He ensured the man's mind was transformed.

You can be delivered with a wrong mind. Deliverance is not complete without reorienting your spiritual understanding through the Word of God.

Romans 12:2 - "Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."

Transformation through the renewing of your mind is deliverance. It is the scriptural way to close the door that authorizes spirit entities to find expression in a person.

A spiritual man is one who has exalted the Word of God above the senses, so that man is governed not by sensory perceptions but by the Word of God.

Many believers do not gain complete deliverance because they refuse to engage in transformation. When the spirit is cast out but the mind is not renewed, that spirit will return and find the mental construction still conducive for its operation—and it will return with more wicked spirits.

3. The Discipline of Conformity

Romans 8:13 - "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."

Galatians 6:8 - "For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

You actively participate in your deliverance. There is saving grace where you don't do anything—you just receive. But there is grace that empowers you to do, and you must participate. The disciplinary dimension is your responsibility.

Philippians 3:12-14 - Paul said "I press toward the mark." It takes discipline to engage prophecy, otherwise it will never come to pass.

Nothing just happens in the kingdom without discipline:

• Discipline to wake up in the night to pray
• Discipline to sit down and receive songs as a worship minister
• Discipline to research and study as a minister
• Discipline to conform to the terms of success

Experiencing Complete Deliverance

John 19:28-30 - Jesus said "It is finished." Complete deliverance is possible—not endless cycles of deliverance.

The Legal System of the Kingdom

Proverbs 26:2 - "As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come."

If there is no cause for it, it should not have come. The realm of the spirit is a legal realm. Everything has a reason—a curse causeless cannot come. If it ever came, something authorized it.

Three Steps to Complete Deliverance:

1. Break the Legal Hold of Satan

The first weapon for true victory is the mystery of the blood.

Matthew 26:27-28 - "This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

Ephesians 1:7 - "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins."

Colossians 1:14 - "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins."

Revelation 5:9-10 - We are redeemed by His blood out of every kindred, tongue, people, and nation.

Revelation 12:10-11 - "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony."

To plead the blood is not just to shout "I plead the blood" like a charm. It means to bring to remembrance the substitutionary work of Christ—to present to the Father the sinless blood of His eternal Son that was given in exchange for your deliverance.

Pleading the blood entails a broken and contrite heart. There is an attitude that makes the blood effectual.

2. The Power of Words

Matthew 12:37 - "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."

Your words are a vital tool in establishing the victory of Christ over your life and situation. Let the redeemed of the Lord speak and denounce yourself from every walk of darkness.

For with the heart you believe, and with the mouth confession is made. Declare that you are free from all chains.

3. The Ministry of the Anointing

Luke 4:17-21 - Jesus announced His deliverance ministry: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me...to preach deliverance to the captives...to set at liberty them that are bruised."

Isaiah 10:27 - "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing."

There is an exact anointing that breaks yokes. Not every anointed person can deliver you—there is a dimension of the anointing specifically ordained by God for detonating yokes.

When the yoke-breaker comes and His weight rests upon your life, anything that is not of Him must give way.
