Acts 20:28

This teaching holds the reason why many genuinely saved and well-intentioned believers never live to experience the victorious life that is in Christ. There is an explanation for why a believer who is genuinely saved fails to project through his or her life the victory that is in Christ — genuinely saved believers who are frustrated, discouraged, living defeated lives under the unmistakable reign of darkness, infirmities, and the vicissitudes of life.

The beauty and glory that comes with the faith life, the beauty and glory that comes with the spirit life, is hardly visible in the life of many believers, and this has misrepresented God in many degrees. It is difficult for men to desire to know God, to learn him, to love him, and to serve him if the lives of professing Christians are not a picture that attracts people to Jesus.

John 8:32

There are two components to this statement. The second component is sustained by God's integrity. But the first component is your responsibility: "ye shall know the truth."

Hosea 4:6

God does not say those who are alienated from him, or those who are under the sway of the devil. He owns these people — they are still his people, regardless of their state. The Prodigal Son called the father "my father" and the father identified him as "my son" even in his degraded state. It was not a question of sonship; it was a tragic situation. And yet God says: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Satan is not mentioned as the primary reason for their destruction. It is lack of knowledge — and specifically, knowledge that was offered and rejected.

Ephesians 4:18

The ratio of believers who are frustrated, oppressed, and discouraged seems to outweigh by far those who are walking in the experience of the victory that the divine life proposes.

John 10:10

Jesus's ministry is beyond giving salvation. The word salvation comes from the word salvage — deliverance from destruction. What Jesus came to give was beyond deliverance from sin and Satan. He said: "I am come that ye may have life, and that ye may have it more abundantly."

If this is not addressed and believers do not understand why, many will grow frustrated and begin to delve into the corridors of compromise, falling away from the authenticity of their faith pursuit. But there is an answer.

The Dynamics of Liberty

Believers within any organisation or ministry are at the mercy of the knowledge — the limited knowledge or the excellency of the knowledge — of the priests that serve them truth. In one moment, a minister can bring liberty to millions; in one moment, he can reinforce their bondage, depending on the light that comes through him to them.

John 1:9

The major endpoint of the believer's pursuit is this: that experientially, your life becomes a manifestation of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2:10

God had an intent. He did not just come to die for nothing — he had a goal to bring us into good works which he had before ordained, the same way the Lamb was slain from the foundations of the earth. He ordained that we should walk in them.

Revelation is like a vehicle — it has an assignment of stopping you from stagnancy. It has a unique ability to bring transitions to your life. It is impossible to be enlightened and remain in the same place.

Isaiah 60:1

Every time revelation comes, it brings transition — moving people from their lower self to higher dimensions of themselves, transiting them to become more like Christ.

The Three Dynamics of Liberty

1. Salvation — The Starting Point

   In order of spiritual priority, God designed a system that administers his grace, his life, his power, and victory to the believer. The first encounter in the journey to liberty is called salvation — being born again, the new birth experience.

   John 3:16–17

   Romans 10:9–10

   1 John 5:11–12

   The new birth experience is not the totality of the believer's experience — it is the starting point of a journey that should lead to victory and liberty. Not knowing this alone will keep a believer defeated forever, even when genuinely saved.

   God's intent for the believer was not just salvation from sin and Satan, but an opportunity to live in victory while serving his purposes.

   1 Timothy 2:1–4

   God desires all men to be saved, but he does not leave them there. After salvation — the starting point — they are to come unto the knowledge of the truth, because it is in knowing the truth that they are free indeed.

   • Salvation is the gateway — it cannot be bypassed. Every miracle Jesus performed before his death — healings, deliverances, multiplication of bread — happened to men who were not yet saved. They still died. Signs and wonders cannot be a replacement for salvation.
   • If you cannot heal someone but you lead them to Jesus and they are genuinely saved, you have done something noble — you have brought them closer to solving their problems permanently. With the way will come access to truth; and if it is truth indeed, eventually they will experience life in all its ramification, which includes prosperity.
   • Every time you see someone sick, think salvation first before healing. Every time you see someone depressed, God's first priority for lasting liberty in that person is salvation.

2. Being Saved Does Not Automatically Produce Victory

   Being saved by confessing the lordship of Jesus does not automatically bring a person into the experience of victory. That was not even the pattern Jesus followed as a pattern man, nor the pattern the apostles followed.

   Being saved or being born again gives you access — not experience.

   John 14:6

   Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life." This is a map, not three separate options. You do not start experiencing life by experiencing life — you start by finding the way. If it is the right way, it leads you to truth; and there is something you do with that truth that gives you life. Between the way and the experience of life, there is something called truth. You can find the way and yet not interact with the truth, and even though it is prophesied, you may never see it in your life.

   The part of the salvation experience that is instant and finished is your spirit man — not your mind and not your body. A person can come to the altar, confess Jesus, and return just as foolish as before. Potentially he has come into the way and received a deposit of life in his spirit man — but it needs to be lived out in the physical realm, and there is a protocol, a rule of engagement, for that.

   This is why God designed it so that even after salvation, you receive the Holy Spirit — it is a journey, and you cannot go on it alone. God plants you under a teaching ministry that builds you.

   John 17:3

3. Knowing the Truth

   In addition to receiving life from the Saviour, a believer must know the truth. If they do not know the truth that came with the Saviour, they will remain defeated even though they genuinely met the Saviour.

   John 8:32

   Knowing the truth describes the entire process from accessing light — after salvation — to being transformed by it. The word know is deeper than the English conveys. It is not mere awareness of correct information. Knowing the truth is a journey of its own.

   Knowing the truth requires three steps:

   1. Access to the Truth

      • Access to the Word of God — Psalm 119:130 — The entrance of God's word gives light and understanding to the simple.
      • Access to the Holy Spirit — John 16:13 — He is called the Spirit of Truth. When he comes, he guides into all truth. His entire advocacy is that of truth.
      • Access to the Teaching Priest — Jeremiah 3:15 — God promised to give pastors and shepherds according to his heart, who would feed the people with knowledge and understanding. The Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:30–38 was reading but not understanding. God brought Philip to him, and it was through the ministry of the teaching priest that he came to salvation and baptism.

      When God really wants to help someone, he grants them access to a man of God who has been given the grace of light. A believer who does not have the privilege of sitting under the mentorship of a teaching priest will experience a Christian journey that is a circle of pain — they will wonder whether what is written in the Bible is real.

      The grace of the teaching priest is not brain work. It is an endowment from God — beyond studying and intelligence; those things are enhancers. A teaching priest is the product of the Spirit of Revelation granting unusual access to doctrine, principles, and the ways of God for the sake of those sent to him. If that grace is not present, no amount of effort will substitute. But when it is present, even linguistic limitations cannot prevent the people from understanding what was intended.

      The distinction between oratory and utterance: when God grants utterance to speak his counsel, both the learned and unlearned will understand. Oratory combined with utterance creates a powerful combination — but utterance alone is sufficient.

      What a teaching priest communicates week in and week out is what shapes a congregation's understanding toward a life of victory or defeat. An entire family — father, mother, children — submitting to a teaching priest means their entire generational future is shaped by the quality of the truth they receive. This is why God will judge teachers.

      Priesthood is not a vocation to be entered out of hunger or failed civil service applications. A corrupted motive destroys the destinies of those who come — and in a religious continent, people remain under a spiritual structure for life, unlike school, which has a graduation date. If error is received in that structure, there may be no correction.

   2. Hearing and Receiving the Truth

      John 3:2

      It is possible to have access to truth and yet not hear or receive it. The scribes and Pharisees had access — they were present at nearly all of Jesus's ministry. But they were not listening; they were looking for occasion against him. It was Nicodemus, one among them, who listened carefully and came by night to receive.

      God speaks to men through men primarily. He said to Elijah, "I have commanded a widow to feed you" — and when Elijah met the widow, the command was given through the prophet's mouth. God ministers to men through men.

      Satan goes wherever God is, because every time God shows up he gives things to men — and that is what Satan wants to steal. So every time a word is coming that explains why a life, a family, or a ministry is where it is, distraction comes — slumber, carelessness, busyness. A destiny-defining truth slips past unheard.

      Proximity to where God is working is proof that an encounter is possible. The man whose friends tore open a roof to lower him before Jesus — would he have been healed at home? Those who come close to where God is working increase their chances of encounter. This is why believers must not neglect the gathering of the saints.

      Most believers do not hear. Most believers do not receive. Most believers do not concentrate.

      Coming close to truth and interacting with it is wonderful — but that does not get the job done. Hearing and listening is profitable — but that in itself does not get the job done. A believer must submit to transformation with reference to the truth they have found.

      This is what administers liberty.

      Transformation is the endpoint of receiving truth. If a believer receives light but does not submit to its transforming power, they will never become what that light intended for them to be.

      2 Timothy 3:7

      Every time a person is not transformed, blessings become burdens. Good things destroy when they come into the hands of the untransformed. A ten-year-old child may have millions deposited in an account in his name — a responsible parent will not hand over the keys until the child has grown into them. Not because the resources are not his, but because immaturity makes blessings causes.

      Many prayers go unanswered not because of attack alone, but because God looks at the level of transformation and says the safest point is here — not there yet. There are certain levels of anointing people pray carelessly for, not knowing there is a spiritual immigration system that must be passed through. There is a grace that comes in honor to mindsets.

How Transformation Leads to Victory

Our realities in this kingdom are shaped by our belief systems, our mindsets, and the quality of our thinking.

The definition of a believer's Christian experience at any given point is not just a product of God's love, not just a product of prophecy, not just a product of what scripture says should be — it is a reflection of belief systems, mindsets, and the quality of thinking.

When a believer claims to be receiving truth but no area of their life brings glory to God, the missing link may be the quality and kind of information — or it may be that they have not submitted themselves to be transformed by it. Like a child who feeds constantly but never gains weight — something is wrong with the processing, not necessarily the supply.

The information stored in the mind is in layers. Not all information exerts the same level of power and influence. Certain information has a greater hold than others. This is why a man can be a lecturer and suffer the very problem he teaches about. It is not ignorance — it is that the information controlling his life is not academics; it is his most dominant thoughts. If a professor believes at his core that he is a failure, his knowledge will not override that.

Transformation Is Warfare

2 Corinthians 10:4–5

The weapons of a believer's warfare are not carnal — they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and to bringing into captivity every thought.

The assignment of these weapons is not necessarily to eradicate wrong things — it is about position. The imaginations and high things have exalted themselves above the knowledge of Christ. That is what gives them the strongest influence. Even though the knowledge of Christ is present, it is insufficient to govern life because other information holds greater dominance.

The weapons are like white blood cells. When someone is sick, it is not that white blood cells are absent — they were simply not strong enough to fight what was fighting. The goal of transformation is to bring the word of God to the highest position in the mind, above every other information.

• Transformation happens by pulling down strongholds.
• Transformation happens by casting down imaginations.
• Transformation happens by dethroning any information and reasoning that fights to be higher than the knowledge of God.
• Some information is not demonic — it simply needs to be dethroned, not removed. The goal is not to become ignorant; it is to exalt the word of God above all else.

The challenge is that before receiving eternal life, most believers already had a backlog of error — error from demonic activity, from negative aspects of culture, from suggestions, from sitting under inaccurate teaching. When a person gets born again, it is not God's automatic responsibility to remove those things. God provides enabling grace — the discipline to partner with that grace and carry out this warfare is the believer's part.

Thoughts and Mindsets Are Magnetic

Thoughts, mindsets, and belief systems have an energy they emit. They exhibit magnetic properties. They attract to a life conditions and circumstances consistent with that belief.

Job 3:25

The thing Job greatly feared — not just any fear, but his most dominant fear — came upon him. This is the mystery of deep calling unto deep. Terrorists understand this principle: they send fear before they attack. By the time the people absorb the fear, they are incapacitated before the attack even begins. Goliath operated by the same principle — he spoke to the armies of Israel before any physical confrontation. His words were designed to enthrone a picture of defeat in their minds.

1 Samuel 17:43–45

When David came, Goliath attempted the same strategy. But David's most dominant thought was the knowledge of God. He told Saul: the lion came, the bear came — there was no social media to broadcast those victories, but the mentality of victory was already formed. His declaration — "I come to you in the name of the Lord" — was not just his mouth speaking. It was his most dominant thought.

David understood that Goliath was empowered by a demonic force — that if that force were dislodged, no matter how large the body, it would fall. Jesus operated on the same principle: he was silent in the face of accusations, because speaking anyhow transfers dominion. When Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent, the serpent said nothing — and dominion transferred to him. Jesus came and reclaimed it through disciplined silence.

• Poverty has a mindset. If it does not find that mindset, it cannot manifest.
• Wealth has a mindset. If it does not find that mindset, it cannot manifest.
• Curses have a mindset. If they do not find it, they cannot manifest.
• Blessings have a mindset. If they do not find it, they cannot manifest.

Genesis 12 — God spoke to Abraham, but Abraham did not have the mindset to make it happen. God had to prime him — using the stars, saying "count them, so shall thy seed be." Finally Abraham believed, and the Bible says it was credited to him as righteousness. A transfer could not happen until the mindset aligned.

Genesis 11:4

Nimrod and his company had no Holy Spirit, no demon — just men who built something in their minds. They said: "Let us build a city and a tower whose top may reach the heavens." They had not yet started, but the intention was already declared as settled. God himself acknowledged that because they were of one mind, nothing would be restrained from them.

The anointing has a mindset for it to flow. A defeated person cannot liberate others by wishing. The oil in Elisha's widow miracle was never small — it looked small because of the size of the vessel. The prophet's instruction was: expand the jar.

The Role of Dominant Belief Systems

John 14:30

Jesus said: "The prince of this world cometh and hath nothing in me." Satan is attracted by something in a person that looks like him. He came to Jesus, but there was no parallel — nothing within Jesus that he could relate to. When victory comes, it comes looking for victory inside the believer by the word. When curses come and find a believer fortified through knowledge, they have no landing place.

This is why the approach must go beyond casting out demons — people must be taught to come into victory. If all that happens is deliverance without transformation, the demons must be cast out perpetually. The second level of deliverance is transformation — helping people understand so that when Satan comes, their enlightenment removes his edge.

• Victory depends on a belief system.
• Defeat depends on a belief system.
• Being victimized by curses and yokes is mentally dependent — not just spiritually or demonically.
• Increase and prosperity depends on a belief system.
• Manifesting excellence and leadership depends on a belief system.
• Walking in the anointing depends on a belief system.

A believer can be genuinely saved and still be a victim of limitations and frustrations that plagued them before salvation. Those things did not recognize salvation — the oppression remained. This is why many believers doubt their salvation. Salvation is real — but the knowledge of God has not yet been exalted above every other knowledge in their minds.

The concept of familiar spirits is precisely this: they want certain occurrences to remain in certain lives and territories. They study the mindset that attracts a particular trouble and build a stronghold around it — so that grandfather transfers it to father, and the evil continues in that bloodline. Breaking it is not only a matter of rebuking it. A person must rebuke it and begin re-engineering their thinking. A new kind of energy is sent — and the next time the curse comes, it finds no one in that bloodline carrying that compatible mindset.

Transformation Leads to Victory Through Superior Choices

The first way transformation leads to victory is by empowering the transformed to make superior, destiny-advancing choices and decisions.

Consider two believers. Believer A is a Christian but knows nothing about prayer, nothing about the value of relationships, nothing about productivity, nothing about the law of honour, nothing about the power of prophecy. How many destiny helpers can such a person attract? When God sends a good man, they insult him — and recycle the same pain, wondering why life remains unchanged. Their life is a reflection of an omission: something they do not know.

Failure does not just happen — failure looks for a mindset to partner with. For failure to manifest in a life, there must be a subconsciously built mindset that welcomes it. The victim does not know they labored to create it.

A mindset governs every action:

• A husband who strikes his wife is not acting on instinct — he is obeying a mindset that told him this is how respect is commanded.
• A child who stays out all night is not merely rebellious — he has adopted a definition of freedom from culture, social media, or society, and that definition now sits above whatever Sunday school truth remains in his mind.
• People carry ungodly songs they never rehearsed deliberately — but through repetition in barbing saloons, in waiting areas, in environments, the influence seeped in until one day they were singing along without noticing.

Philippians 4:7

Jesus protected his mind from age twelve. At that point in history, the Jews were slaves under Rome — Joseph and Mary carried a mindset shaped by captivity. They were good parents, but they could not raise a Saviour with that mindset. So Jesus, the moment he grew, went to the temple — to the scribes and Pharisees, the closest people to scripture he could find — and sat there for eighteen years, asking questions, finding where it was written about him. Lo, I come in the volume of the book. He did not just receive revelation passively — he took the discipline of asking.

Mindsets as Magnets — Practical Reality

There is an energy that leaves the transformed person. It functions like a messenger — going out and drawing corresponding realities. Grace comes in honor to mindsets. Never just seek a grace; find out the mindset that the grace is looking for. There is a kind of mindset that, before a person even prays for a grace, the grace has already arrived — because the mindset has been acting as a magnet.

The Bible is a compendium of mindsets — giving believers the chance to choose the ones they will use, with the wisdom of an architect, to design their lives.

• Greed is a mindset — not an attitude. It informs the holder that what they have is all there is; that giving anything away constitutes loss. Proverbs 11:24
• Laziness is a mindset. Diligence is a mindset.
• Excellence is a mindset. Cutting corners is a mindset. Bribery and corruption is a mindset.
• Arrival is a mindset. The passion to keep pressing is a mindset.
• Limitation is a mindset.

There is a mindset of life — and people who carry it cannot easily be killed. There is a mindset of increase — and when a person carries it, the very things prayed for begin arriving before the prayer concludes, because the mindset was already drawing them. "Choose life" is not sentiment — it means life is a choice. Choose wealth. Choose excellence. Choose growth.

Prosperity is not a spiritually dangerous concept — it is a mindset. The one who owns the cattle on a thousand hills did not backslide by owning the Earth. If increase just diminishes a person, that is a mindset that needs to be corrected — not a spiritual reality.

Hebrews 6:12

There is a system for excellence and efficiency. Instead of reinventing the wheel, follow those who through faith and patience have inherited the promises.

The Value of the Anointing Resting on a Transformed Mind

The value of the anointing is when it rests upon a transformed mind. The mind gives the capacity. Prophecy and the speakings of God give allowance for it to find expression. A prophecy spoken over an untransformed mind — the realm of the spirit will respect the limits of that mind. What the mind has grown into is what the spirit gives room to manifest.

Isaiah 60:3

Kings and nobles are drawn to light. But if the light stops growing, only a certain class will continue to come — not kings. When commitment to excellence remains unbroken, when prayer continues as if nothing has yet been received, when learning continues as if starting from zero — the light intensifies, and the class of people drawn to it rises.

Two Final Truths

1. Knowing the Truth Makes the Value of Salvation Visible

   Knowing the truth by the ministry of light makes a person see and reveal the true value of salvation. If a believer is not transformed, they cheapen salvation — they make it look as though Jesus did not do anything spectacular. The real value in salvation is revealed not just at the point of the new birth, but at the point of transformation. That is when his power becomes visible. That is when his wisdom, his favor, his influence, and his excellence find expression through a human life.

2. The Ultimate Proof of Light Is Liberty

   The ultimate proof of the presence and power of light is not intelligence — it is liberty.

   There are many intelligent people who cannot command liberty in their own lives or bring liberty to the lives of others. When all is said and done, the proof that a person has enjoyed the ministry of light is the liberty their life commands, and the liberty they bring to others. In his light, we see light — and in the light of his representative, others too should see light.

   No matter what is known about healing, transformation, or favor — if it cannot produce the liberty that attests to that knowledge, something is wanting. The light is false light. This is why pressing continues unashamedly — not to celebrate what has already been seen, but for the areas not yet seen.
