Major ways to know God

1. Through the scriptures
2. Through his names
3. Studying the man Jesus - the most accurate way to know God
4. Experience

There are 3 reasons Jesus came

Amongst them is to reveal and correct our understanding about God

Jeremiah 30:17, Jeremiah 33:6

Man is tripartite

Man is a spirit hosted in a body and that body has a soulical faculty for emotions and intellect

1 Thessalonians 5:23, 3 John 1:2

Explaining Tripartite

You are primarily a spirit and you reside in a body, but because of the variation in dimensions are not able to interact and so mid-wifing the spirit and the body is the soulical faculties - the will, the emotions.

The will is not a human being but an attachment to the spirit that helps it interact with the body.

All 3 of those dimensions need healing

The spirit of man needs healing and the healing for it is salvation.

Roman 3:23

That means outside of the presence of God, man is spiritually dead.

No matter how healthy a man is bodily, the spirit of man can only be healed when the power of the gospel penetrates you and brings you back from death to life.

The second way the spirit of man can be healed is the strengthening of the spirit.

How do you know you are healed?

When there is no discussion around your life that creates a painful memory again.

3 Reason men will hate you

1. Because of the extent of the love of your father
2. Because of your dreams - It's not everything you should say
3. When you wear the coat of many colours - you are multi-gifted

Emotional wounds are real, if you do not trust God to experience victory, you will find yourself replicating the pain to others

4 keys to be free from psychological wounds

1. Call upon the name of the Lord over that situation that is causing the hurt.
2. Locate scriptures that speak victory to your soul
3. Seek Godly counsel from matured believers who have spiritual and emotional maturity
4. Find a course bigger than your pain and invest your life in it

Marriage was not designed to solve every emotional problem

• In Jesus name I reject hate, I am I child of God, I am born of God, the word, the spirit, love. The love of God is shared abroad in my heart, I am a Christian, a child of God I have victory over my past, yesterday, failure, rejection.
• Yesterday, day, weakness, rejection, competitive jealousy, you have no power over me, I am child of God, I am born from above
• Freedom from hurts, pains, disappointment, betrayal, regardless of what the story was. I cannot punish my tomorrow because of yesterday.
• In the name of Jesus I am strong, I have the grace to overcome every negative thing associated with my emotions, I overcome anger, jealousy, disappointment, pain. I am victorious, I am a child of God, it is time to go forward, I declare the gates of my destiny open up for me

When it has to do with the body, there are 2 dimensions to it

1. Corrective or curative dimension
2. Preventive dimension

Principles we engage that keeps us free from bodily infirmities/diseases

When it has to do with the healing of the body spiritually, medically, psychological strategies for the body to be kept healthy

• You must believe that it is will of God to be healed and to work in healing(bodily vitality) Psalm 103:3
• You must believe that Satan is behind most of sicknesses and diseases that plague your body. Some can be of biological cause, but how you know that a spirit has come into partnership with it, is when it defiles medicine. If you do not believe that Satan is behind these sickness, you will not be able to release your faith.
• You must believe it takes health and vitality to live a victorious life.

The laws of health and the laws of healing

The laws of health

Health has to do with maintenance of bodily vitality

1. Guard your heart with all diligence - Protect the information that you allow through your eye and ear gate
2. Engage the power of faith filled conversation.
3. Obtain grace to eat healthy. As God upgrades you, before you upgrade your outfit, upgrade your health
4. Practice fasting
5. Practice rest
6. Maintain joy

The laws of healing

Healing has to do with curative and corrective step to restore you to a point of health and vitality

1. Believe it is the will of God for you to be healed. If God can raise the dead, then God can perfect the living Listen to the message Again, I say rejoice
2. Be willing to receive healing Acts 3:1-9. Emphasis on Acts 3:3-5. Expect that God heals. If you do not expect healing, God cannot force it on you.
3. There must be the healing of faith. You must know what God has said concerning your health.
4. You must release to receive healing by acting on the word.
5. Provoke healing by creating an atmosphere of worship.
