God Sees You Specifically

In John 5:2–9, the Bible speaks of a man among a multitude who had been sick for 38 years. When Jesus visited the place, he saw that one fellow — specifically. There is a difference between looking at people and truly seeing someone. To see means to give special attention. In the name that's above every other name, God will see somebody today. And because he saw that man, that man was never sick again. The problem he had carried for 38 years ended the same day.

God Hears Your Voice

It is one thing to pray. It is another thing for God to hear. The day God hears your prayer — that is the day you will know that God is truly alive.

In Mark 10:46–52, there was a multitude following Jesus. One man — Bartimaeus — was crying out, "Have mercy on me." Not only was there a crowd with all its noise, the people around Bartimaeus didn't even want God to hear him. They told him to shut up. But God singled out one voice — a voice the crowd wanted to silence.

God is not deaf. But occasionally you have to pray not like a polished professional. Suppose three important people are in a motor accident. The first says gently, "Doctor, I need help." The second, educatedly: "Dr., is there someone here who would need help?" The third says: "I'm in trouble. I need help!" and raises his voice. Who gets first attention?

God Remembers

Many have been praying and doing God's will for years. Then, all of a sudden, God decides: it is time to visit these people again. When God remembers, everything you have been asking for — he does it in one day.

Genesis 30:22–23 — God remembered Rachel and opened her womb. All God needs to do is remember.

In Genesis 18:1–14, God had been promising Abraham that he would be the father of nations. Year after year, Abraham grew older. At the beginning of each year, he thought: maybe this is the year. Then he was 100. And suddenly God remembered. The same God who said this year will be remarkable — he is not lying. He has already kept part of his word. He is about to keep the rest.

God Is About to Act

God said to Moses: "I have seen. I have heard. I have remembered. Now I have come to set them free." He mentions those who are tormenting — from the father's side, the mother's side, the workplace. He saw. He heard. He remembered. Now he has come to act.

Psalm 68:1–3 — Let God arise and his enemies be scattered. When the time to act comes, all of a sudden you look for the enemies and you cannot find them. Everything that seemed so difficult suddenly becomes easy.

God Sends His Messenger

Many times when God wants to show he is around — because he is invisible — he sends someone you can see. After God spoke to Moses, he turned to him and said: "Moses, you are the one I am going to send." Moses said, "Who am I?" God said: "Whether you believe you qualify or not, you are the one who will do this job for me."

When God wants to solve your problems, when he wants to show you he has seen you, heard you, remembered you, and is about to act — he sends his prophet to announce it. That is why a door was opened for this visit to happen. It was not easy, it was not convenient, but the answer was already given before the thought was finished — because God is determined to stop the problem of someone today.

God can come to your door and knock. Revelation 3:20 — Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in. He can come to your very door. But if you don't want him to come in, he will go away. Open the door. Let him take over your life. Because the moment he comes in, he takes over — and when light takes over, darkness cannot remain.
