Every Spiritual Man Must Learn To Talk! (100 Days Of Discipleship — Day 60) by Apostle Emmanuel Iren: MP3 Download & Sermon Notes
With The Mouth, Confession Is Made — Not Just To Salvation But To Every Provision Of God
lightbulb Message Summary - Key Nuggets
- Confession Made Salvation — It Makes Everything Else Too: Romans 10:9-10 — with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The Greek word for salvation also covers healing, deliverance, safety and prosperity. The same principle applies across every area.
- Meditation Is Done With the Mouth: Joshua 1:8 — "This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth." The same Hebrew word for meditate in Psalm 35:28 is translated "speak." To meditate is to talk — to rehearse the word of God aloud.
- Confession Builds Consciousness: Faith comes by hearing — and hearing by the word. Repeated confession builds Christ-consciousness, victory-consciousness, and aligns your mind with divine reality.
- Talk to God, Then Talk About God: There is a place for speaking to God about your problem, but also for speaking about God in front of your problem. Brag before Goliath. Boast in the Lord.
- You Entered the Kingdom by Words — Build Yourself With the Same: You became a new creation by confessing the lordship of Jesus. Use the same mechanism to build yourself in every dimension of the Christian life.

You Got In By Confession — Stay Built By the Same
Romans 10:9-10: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
A man who was hellbound — in the kingdom of darkness — changed his spiritual location simply by confessing the lordship of Jesus. With words. Think about that. The body of sin is destroyed by words. You are born into a new spiritual experience by words. That is how powerful words are.
The problem is: we got into the kingdom by words, but we do not know how to build ourselves with the same words. We confessed once unto salvation and then stopped speaking.
The Greek word for "salvation" — soteria — also means deliverance, healing, safety, prosperity, and preservation. The same mechanism that saved you can be applied toward your healing, your deliverance, your protection, and every provision consistent with God's will for your life.
Meditation Is Done With the Mouth
Joshua 1:8: "This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate in it day and night." People misread this as a mental exercise. But notice the word "mouth." The Hebrew word for "meditate" here — hagah — is the exact same word used in Psalm 35:28, translated "speak": "My tongue shall speak of your righteousness."
To meditate is to speak. Meditation is vocalised contemplation. As you walk the floor in the morning after praying in the Spirit, you say: "The life of God flows through me. I am more than a conqueror. The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord." That is how you meditate. By talking.
Confession Builds Consciousness
- Faith comes by hearing — and repeated hearing builds conviction. When you speak the word of God about yourself consistently, your mind begins to agree with what your spirit already knows.
- Christ-consciousness — an awareness of who you are and what you carry — is built through consistent confession, not just through knowing facts about the Bible.
- Victory-consciousness — the settled assurance that you win — is cultivated through speaking the word over your life until it becomes second nature.
Joel 3:10: "Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'" The confession precedes the experience, not the other way around.
Talk to God — and Talk About God
There is a place for speaking to God about your problem. There is also a place for speaking about God in front of your problem. Romans 4:17: calling those things that be not as though they were. After praying in the Spirit, brag. Declare. Say: "What can stop me? No mountain too high. No valley too low. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world."
The Bible says the circumcision worship God and boast in Christ Jesus. Where is your boast? Let Goliath hear it. Let the situation hear it.
Use your mouth strategically. Speak the word of God over your health, your family, your future, your finances. Say what God says. Align your words with divine reality — and watch your life begin to conform to them.
