Prayer Is Not Optional
Prayer is an indispensable part of the life of a spiritual man, especially one who intends to live victoriously. We don't pray because we are prayer addicts. We pray because it was commanded by God, and because His wisdom is superior to ours — He prescribes it for our own good.
Luke 18:1 says men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Three things stand out in that verse:
- If you are a man, you must pray.
- You should pray always — not once in a while.
- If you don't pray, you will faint.
One of the antidotes for weakness in life is prayer. Those who pray are not weak. Those who pray don't faint. Many people ask, "Where is God?" but the real question is not whether God is real — it is where your strength and your stamina are.
Building up ourselves on our most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost — Jude 1:20. Father, we need strength in the spirit to confront the opposition of life, in the name of Jesus.

John 10:10 — the thief comes only to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus said, "I have come that you might have life, and life more abundantly." 2 Peter 1:3 — His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Whatever improves the quality of life within righteousness and holiness, God wants it for you.
Look at the first man God created — Genesis 1:26-28. God gave him His image, His likeness, put him in a place of intimacy and relationship with Himself, and placed him in a garden where everything he needed was already provided. That is abundant life: rich toward God, and rich in possession. But the enemy is on a rampage to stop that from happening, and one of the forces that positions us for abundant life is prayer.
Six Rivers of Victorious Living
- The river of blessing. Anyone who will live a life that makes impact must be blessed — Genesis 1:28, God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, and have dominion."
- The river of inheritance. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children.
- The river of principles. Diligence, honour, hard work, and faithfulness are principles that, applied, make your life count.
- The river of systems and structures. Any vision that is not institutionalised cannot be immortalised. Proverbs 24:3-4 — through wisdom a house is built, by understanding it is established, and by knowledge its chambers are filled with good things.
- The river of giftings, skills, and talents. If God gives you a gift, refine it and market it, and you will be great.
- The river of mysteries. Deuteronomy 29:29 — the secret things belong to God; the things revealed belong to us and our children.
These six rivers are accessed by spiritual power — this is why we pray. Jeremiah 33:3 — call unto me, and I will answer, and show you great and mighty things which you know not. When we pray, we are engineering the system to work in our favour, because there are forces working against us. Nature itself, since it is in bondage, does not naturally support your prosperity — let alone when demons are involved.
Declaring the Word Over Your Life
Mark 11:23-24 — if you say to this mountain, "Be removed and cast into the sea," and do not doubt in your heart, you shall have whatever you say. Believe that you receive it when you pray, and it shall be yours. James 5:17 — the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Job 22:28 — you shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you. If you do not decree, do not expect to have. According to your word you shall be justified, and according to your word you shall be condemned.
I decree that every mountain of fear before you is levelled. Every mountain of sickness is levelled. Every mountain of lack, every mountain of territorial influence — in the name of the Lord Jesus, be levelled now. My steps are ordered in my high places; whatever I do shall prosper. I am a tree planted by the rivers; no mountain stands before me.
Under this corporate atmosphere I decree: step into a new paradigm, step into a new height. Every limitation you have suffered, everything that has compromised the quality of your existence, everything that has made a mockery of your faith — in the name of Jesus, I command it to be removed, to scatter, to give way. Begin to prosper, begin to go forward, begin to make impact by the Spirit.
The Mystery of Wisdom and Favour
Good understanding brings favour, so favour is a force in the spirit. Exodus 12:36 — the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they were granted whatever they asked, and they spoiled the Egyptians. These were people who had been enslaved and marginalised for over four hundred years — but when favour came, Egypt handed over its wealth. You cannot live victoriously without favour.
Esther 5:2 — Esther obtained favour in the eyes of the king, and he said to her, "What do you want? I will give it, up to half of my kingdom." Proverbs 24:3-4 — through wisdom a house, a life, is built. James 1:5 — if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives liberally, and it will be given. Wisdom and favour can both be acquired through prayer.
Father, give me divine wisdom. Christ is made unto me wisdom — let that wisdom manifest. I refuse to make errors at the junctions of my destiny. I refuse to make mistakes on the day of my manifestation. Teach me the way that I should go, in the name of Jesus.

Protocol-Breaking Wisdom and Favour
I decree over you, from today: protocol-breaking wisdom, king-commanding wisdom, let it rest upon you, and by this let favour come upon your life and dominate in every sphere. Live a fruitful life, live a glorious life, in the name of Jesus.
The Power to Get Wealth
Don't ever confuse the need for financial power with the love of money — the love of money is the root of all evil, but without resources you cannot advance the kingdom. Deuteronomy 8:18 — you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth.
Psalm 23:1 — the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. When you have a need, you call on Him, and He leads you beside the still, green pastures — the realm of abundance. Matthew 7:7 — ask, and you shall receive; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened. Beyond spiritual things, He is expecting us to ask Him for resources too.
Father, if there be any thing, any covenant, any pattern in my bloodline trying to make of none effect the finished work of Christ, I rise up in the name of Jesus and I cancel it. Endue me, Lord, with the power to get wealth, that I may live a fruitful life.
Prosperity of the spirit comes first, then prosperity of the body, then prosperity of circumstances and material things. Natural principles — diligence, faithfulness, productivity, skill, financial management — all still matter and still have value. But you cannot neglect the place of the spiritual component. Some of you are highly talented, but there is a covenant in your family line that is fighting you, a tongue speaking against you in the demonic realm that you have not yet silenced through prayer.
Redeeming the Time
Lord, teach me to number my days, that I may apply my heart to wisdom. Help me redeem the time, for the days are evil. I will not waste a second, a minute, an hour, a day, or a month. Help me, for every moment of my day to be consequential, in the name of Jesus. When I should study, help me to study. When I should invest, help me to invest. When I should connect with the right people, help me to connect. When I should pray, help me to pray. When I should win souls, help me to win souls. Deliver me from procrastination, from laziness, from slumber. Put in me the power to wake up to the demands of my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
The reason many people fail in life is not always the direct involvement of Satan — they simply waste their time, their energy, their days. Time is a currency that God gives all of us, and every day you must know what to do with it.
Dry Bones Rising
2 Kings 7 — a besieged nation, poverty so deliberate and severe that the king was helpless and mothers began to eat their own children. Yet the prophet Elisha spoke: by this time tomorrow, a measure of fine flour would be sold for a shekel at the gate of Samaria. A royal officer doubted it was even possible — and he saw it happen, but he did not live to enjoy it, because he doubted the word.
Ezekiel 37:1-4 — God took Ezekiel to a valley of dry bones and asked, "Can these bones live?" Ezekiel answered, "Only You know." He was told to prophesy, and as he prophesied, the bones came together, flesh appeared, breath entered them, and they rose — not as scattered individuals, but as a great army. That is the power of prophecy. You may feel you have no help, no connections, no skill, every hope gone — but there is hope for a tree cut down: at the scent of water, it will rise again.
Dry bones, rise again, in the name of Jesus. Whatever you have lost, I command it to be routed back to your destiny. Let the lines fall unto you in pleasant places, and let doors of opportunity open for you. Let favour come upon your life, favour that breaks protocol, favour that commands the allegiance of kings. Whatever is speaking death over you, let it be uprooted now. Come into the fountain of living waters, and begin to flourish by the Spirit. Receive the power to prosper, receive the grace to prosper, receive the blessing to prosper, in the name of Jesus.
Closing Blessing
Psalm 1 — the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, whose delight is in the law of the Lord, is like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in its season. Whatever the righteous does, he shall prosper — whether it is real estate, business, or prayer, whatever he does shall prosper. That is the power of the blessing: the word "blessed" means "caused to prosper."
Congratulations — from this hour, you are like the palm tree. You will last, your root will find water, you will flourish and prosper, in Jesus' name. Thank you, Father, for these words — let them not fall to the ground, in Jesus' precious name.
