I hear the sound of the abundance of rain

We read Luke 15:11-32, the prodigal son.

Blessed are they that know the joyful sound.

Say it with conviction. Abundance of rain is your reality, your new season.

The riches prepared for the one who says amen

Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what God has prepared 1 Corinthians 2:9

The riches we have in God are exceeding abundantly above what you can ask or think Ephesians 3:20

May the light of God illuminate the eyes of your imagination until you see the hope of his calling and the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints Ephesians 1:18

The father's living, not riotous living

The father divided unto him his living Luke 15:12. Living is what the father was living on.

The father's living is what he wants to live in you, what he wants to leave in you. But the son wasted it with riotous living.

The father's living is not compatible with some types of living.

You don't come to God with your old system. You come with a renewed mind, a consecrated heart.

I don't care what your yesterday was. You have been renewed, forgiven, cleansed. You are in the father now.

Do not introduce a living that is anti the father's living, it leads to wastage of divine resources.

You have a living from the father. You can't live anyhow.

There is grace, enablement and restraint from the father.

Be a prophet to yourself: I have been saved, redeemed, consecrated. I am not the man I was yesterday. I can't live anyhow.

• My father, from today henceforth I choose to follow you.
• I rededicate my life, my commitment, my passion.
• Any appetite to live the way I want, let it dry up.

A new operating system

He divided unto them his living. A record of riotous living cannot fit into my operating system. The deeds of the flesh cannot fit in.

The devil thought your last failure is where you would remain. But the man you pushed down is on his feet again. I got a new operating system from the Lord.

Blessed are they that know the joyful sound

Psalm 89:15

As soon as the prodigal came back the father saw him, welcomed him, gave him the best robe. The elder brother heard music and dancing Luke 15:25-26 and asked what these things meant.

Don't ask what the sound means. In this kingdom we can dance anytime. It is unplanned, but it can happen.

Why is it easier to expect danger than to expect good news? Expect something beautiful.

There are people whose body knows the sound. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty 2 Corinthians 3:17. At his right hand are pleasures forevermore Psalm 16:11. With joy shall we draw from the wells of salvation Isaiah 12:3.

Release a sound ahead of the good news.

Don't let people carry depression and meet you. Don't let them introduce anything that is not of God into your house.

When they ask what happened, reply: blessed are they that know the joyful sound.

All that I have is thine

The elder brother may have wasted what he was given, but he deserves a second chance.

If you were God, some people would opt out of life. But you are not God.

The father said: what he wasted was mine, not yours. Allow me to be merry. And to the elder brother he said all that I have is thine Luke 15:31.

What God does for another will not stop your own.

The door I opened for them will not stop your door. Their new cloth will not stop yours, and your own will be a newer edition.

Rejoice with them that rejoice. Some are jealous of the people they are bigger than in destiny. Your problem is that your own has not manifested yet. Calm down.

Who has known the mind of the Lord to be his counsellor? Romans 11:34

Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated Romans 9:13. Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid Romans 9:14. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy Romans 9:15.

This is not where your story will end. Five new chapters will open. Five new chapters of wonder, five new chapters of greatness. Receive it right now.

Not a transaction, you are a son

The son planned to say, make me as one of your hired servants Luke 15:19.

A hired servant is paid. He wanted a transactional relationship: if I pray well, bless me; if I live well, open doors.

But the father said: what I have with you is not transaction. I am your dad. I am not waiting for you to impress me.

I said to my daughter: live for Jesus, stay in consecration, but even if you do wrong, you are still my daughter. Your being my daughter is not dependent on the right things you do.

When you finish confessing, Lord I'm not worthy, he just says, come.

I'm no longer a slave to fear, I am a child of God.

It is the love of the father that brings you into his fear. Being afraid of God is a different thing. Because he loves us, we reverence him.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith Hebrews 12:2.

Positioning

Come into the house first. What I have for you is not dependent on what you do.

In Israel, celebration meant open houses and free food. This boy's return provoked a celebration and many ate free food that day.

There is a generation waiting to receive what they did not pray for, but they have not gotten there because they are not well positioned.

Some don't know their prayer point, but they will recognize their answer when they see it.

At the sound of your amen, let it become your reality. Light will begin to shine on people's ways right now.

Hunger brought him back, but the father fixed him

What brought the prodigal back was hunger Luke 15:16-17.

He came rehearsing his hunger speech. But the father said to his servants, bring forth the best robe Luke 15:22.

I know hunger brought you, I know there is a reason you walked into church. But the first thing I do is fix your garment, put the ring, put the shoes.

Even though hunger brought you, I would fail you as your God if I gave you only what brought you and did not make you who you should be.

Some of you can no longer recognize the old you. Things that shake others no longer shake you. There is a knowing in your heart that this God will never leave you stranded.
