Opening Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus we pray that your power, your light, your grace will prevail over us. Let your word dispel every darkness like a demonstration of the power of light over darkness. Let long captivities come to their end tonight. Open us to the mysteries of the Spirit.

Foundation Scripture: Obadiah 1:17

"But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions."

Key Insight: Deliverance happens upon Mount Zion - inside the church, not outside. God's system: come as you are, and then you are made into what He wants you to be.

The Possession Principle

• It IS your possession - already allotted to you (their possessions)
• But being your possession is one thing
• Becoming a possessor of your possession is another thing

What is Deliverance?

General Definition: A system of rescue and freedom from bondage, danger, and evil.

Exodus 6:6: "I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm."

Exodus 1:11: Shows why deliverance was needed - taskmasters were set over them to afflict them with burdens.

Complete Definition:

Deliverance is a system for experientially establishing the victory and the authority of Jesus Christ over Satan, demons, and all the powers of darkness concerning our lives.

Critical Understanding: Deliverance is about establishing and manifesting victory rather than fighting for it. We establish and manifest the victory ALREADY wrought through Christ's substitutionary sacrifice - not fighting to create it.

Understanding Spiritual Warfare

Luke 10:19: "Behold I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Key Insight: The word "power" (authority) is exousia (not dunamis). Exousia is authorization to legislate rather than ability to cause change by yourself. Jesus acknowledges the enemy has power, but gives you authority to legislate above that power.

The Prophetic vs. The Experiential

Understanding God's Perspective:

• God speaks from eternity, not within time's frame
• From the foundation of the earth the Lamb was slain - yet people still go to hell
• God can say "it is finished" while you don't have five naira
• The prophetic reality is complete in Christ
• Converting prophetic reality to experiential reality requires understanding mysteries

Colossians 1:13-14: "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins."

Salvation is a form of deliverance. The Bible calls it both redemption AND deliverance.

The Problem: Many quote "it is finished" but after 10-15 years show nothing demonstrating Christ's victory.

Psalm 119:89: "For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven" - but it takes understanding mysteries to make the word settled in YOUR life.

Hebrews 2:6-8: References Psalm 8 - "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Thou madest him lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour...But now we see not yet all things put under him."

Between prophetic speakings and manifestation, there is a mystery. Those who understand become possessors.

Review: Three Access Points of Darkness

1. Covenants

• Most powerful - can go beyond individuals to families
• System of authorization between two or more parties
• Ratified by blood with mutual advantages/severe consequences
• Example: Marriage covenant gives both partners rights
• Ancestral covenants still affect descendants

Israel's Example: Exodus 4:22 - "Israel is my firstborn." Most Israelis don't personally believe, yet the covenant with Abraham defends them. They're indestructible by a mystery they can't understand.

The Problem: When grandfathers made covenants with darkness, descendants become affected. White missionaries brought salvation gospel but not the gospel of the kingdom - the keys to manifest what's finished from earth's foundations.

2. Ignorance

• A force in the spirit (like faith)
• "Rulers of the darkness of this world" - their domain is where there's lack of illumination
• They search for darkness and that becomes their jurisdiction

The Light Principle: Light must SHINE (not just appear) to dispel darkness. John 1:5 - "The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

3. Disobedience

2 Corinthians 10:6: "Having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

Disobedience authorizes hell's gates to prevail.

Three Levels of Satanic Influence

Level 1: Deception

Can happen to believers and unbelievers. Thrives on the strength of your senses.

Galatians 3:1: "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you?" - Bewitching means causing error through deception.

2 Peter 2:2, 12-13: "Many shall follow their pernicious ways...these, as natural brute beasts...speak evil of the things that they understand not, and shall utterly perish in their own corruption."

Believers taken from light by preachers who don't understand truth themselves.

Revelation 12:9: "The great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth."

The deceiver is still here on earth.

Ephesians 5:6: "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience."

The Cure: Be grounded in God's Word. The Word makes you wise and gives you inheritance among the sanctified.

Level 2: Manipulation and Control

Happens in the realm of the mind - where strongholds exist.

Luke 22:31-32: "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."

How Manipulation Works:

• Takes advantage of godly attributes within you
• Satan used Peter's compassion against Jesus
• Compassion, intelligence - any good thing can be used

The Secret: Prayer and intercession. "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation." Sustain spiritual intelligence to discern good from evil.

Important Truth: Even believers can manifest during deliverance. Manifestation doesn't mean complete possession - it takes spiritual discernment to know what's happening.

Warning: Don't blackmail believers who manifest. They can love God fully yet need deliverance from manipulation.

Greatest Victims: BELIEVERS, not unbelievers. Signs of manipulation:

• Believing only your church/ministry matters
• Thinking you're the most anointed
• Dishonoring other ministries
• Pride in spiritual results
• Using only financial prosperity as proof

Warning About Prosperity: Money alone is NOT proof of freedom. Mystery Babylon can enrich kings. Many under bondage are millionaires. Don't use finances as sole indicator of deliverance.

Level 3: Complete Possession

Complete control of spirit, soul, and body.

Mark 5:2-9 - The Gadarene Demoniac:

"There met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains...And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many."

Key Points:

• Multiple spirits in one person
• Changed from "I" to "we" - revealing organization
• Verse 10: "And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country" - demons know jurisdictions
• They can leave individuals but stay in territories, waiting for access

Matthew 12:43-45: "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest...Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first."

The demon calls you "my house" even after salvation. Finds house swept but EMPTY, returns with seven worse spirits.

Critical Question: Why do deliverances seem incomplete? Why cast out same demons forever?

Answer: Some deliverance is ongoing (transformation), some should be once-for-all. Continual exorcism means the person needs more than just casting away demons.

Believers and Possession

1 Corinthians 6:17: "He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit."

By redemption's authority, believers CANNOT be completely possessed - you're one spirit with Christ, not two spirits in one body.

Salt Covenant Example: Two people mix salt in a vessel. Covenant sealed. Only way to break it: separate each person's salt (impossible). Our redemption is similar.

About Witches/Wizards:

• Not all are entirely possessed
• Spirit entities exist that aren't human
• Humanoid beings not from Adam's line
• Cannot receive salvation - it starts from Adam
• Exodus 22:18: "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" - refers to these beings

The Greatest Weapon: The Flesh

Write this: The one factor making Satan powerful over lives is THE FLESH.

Critical Truth: Every agency of demonic activity depends on the flesh's strength to work. You're not truly free while alive to the flesh.

The Problem: Continual deliverance without dealing with flesh = futility. Casting out spirits repeatedly while people dwell in the flesh.

What Happens: Dwelling in flesh creates strongholds. Spirits go and return without being cast out. They mock - knowing results are temporary.

The Solution: God can establish deliverance once and for all. True deliverance makes you a deliverer, not one needing deliverance.

The Ministry of the Blood

1 John 5:7-8 - The Three Witnesses:

• In heaven: Father, Word, Spirit
• On earth: Spirit, Water, Blood

Hebrews 12:24: The blood of Jesus speaks. Like Abel's blood cried out (Genesis 4:10), Jesus' blood has advocacy ministry.

How to Engage:

• Invoke the blood's advocacy
• Declare: "I am a partaker of the ministry of the blood"
• "When I see the blood, I will pass over" (Exodus 12:13)

The Power of Sun and Moon

Psalm 121:6: "The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night."

Every power on earth uses sun and moon - the two elements powering all activity (including demonic).

Biblical Examples:

Genesis 37:9 - Joseph's Dream: "The sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me" - representing father, mother, brothers.

Hezekiah's Healing: God moved the sun backward as sign of life extension.

Joshua 10:12-13 - Joshua's Victory: "Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon." He realigned sun and moon to Israel's advantage. Jericho feared because their power source was disrupted.

The Lesson: When God brings redemption, He realigns sun and moon to your advantage.

Practical Application: Night Prayer

Continue 15-minute night prayer (12 AM - 3 AM):

1. Pray in tongues
2. Declare: "The challenge in my life must end"
3. Pray: "Lord, open my destiny. Scatter every yoke"
4. Don't do it as ritual - do it with understanding

Expect: Increased attacks (Satan's discouragement), breakthrough testimonies between today and Friday.

Psalm 126:1: "When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream."

• Every hold of darkness broken
• Every siege destroyed
• Every curse reversed
• You become a possessor of your possession
• Everything stolen is restored
• God will arise and surprise you

Your deliverance has come!
