The Holy Spirit — Executor of God's Word

The Holy Spirit empowers a man or woman to be a savior, to be a deliverer. When the Spirit of God is fully operational in your life, the things that dominate people on this planet cannot dominate you anymore. They cannot dominate you and the Holy Spirit at the same time. The Holy Spirit takes you to God's frequency.

This is part two of The Holy Spirit and Your Manifestation. Our foundation scripture is Isaiah 32:13-15. Everything was depreciating — the land overgrown with thorns, joyful homes gone, the palace forsaken — until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness becomes a fertile field and the fertile field yields bountiful crops.

Notice: the Spirit was not poured out on the wilderness or the forsaken palace. On who? On us. It is man that God placed on this planet and everything is subject to us. When something went wrong with man, something went wrong with creation. When something goes right with the man or woman, something goes right with creation.

Environment is powerful. It can put limits on a person's development. But the person filled with the Spirit of God is not subject to the environment. You condition the environment.

The Holy Spirit — Creator and Renewer

One thing I have come to realize is that the Holy Spirit is the executor of God's word. The executor — the one who makes things happen. You see him right from creation in Genesis 1:2. The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. In verse 3, God said, "Let there be light" — and it was the Holy Spirit that practically manufactured the light. He is the manufacturer of the reality of God's word. The one who moves things from the invisible dimension into the visible dimension.

Psalm 104:30: "You send forth your Spirit — they are created. And you renew the face of the earth." The Message Bible says: "Send out your Spirit, and they spring to life. The whole countryside in bloom and blossom." Not only does God create — he renews. The work of creating and recreating is the business of the Holy Spirit. He manifests the raw power that creates and sustains our planet. So when he comes into your life, your life can never remain the same.

Distinct Experience with the Holy Spirit

After I accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, I found that when I was praying my imagination would become active. There was a particular picture playing vividly while I prayed — I saw myself standing before people to teach. The reason I knew it had to be God: first, I was very shy. Standing before people to speak was the last thing I would imagine or desire. Second, it only happened when I prayed. Years later I realized this is the language of the Holy Spirit. Visions, dreams, painting pictures, playing video in your imagination — that is how the Holy Spirit works. He gives you previews of your destiny. He will never show you a picture about yourself that he has not given the commensurate potential to fulfill.

The Holy Spirit gives you access to wisdom that is beyond human capacity. Nobody designed your destiny — God did. The Holy Spirit looks into what they designed for you and communicates it to you. He also gives you access to raw power beyond your human capacity.

Genesis 41:38 — Pharaoh speaking about Joseph: "Can we find anyone else like this man, so obviously filled with the spirit of God?" You cannot have the Spirit of God and be ordinary. You cannot have the Spirit of God in your life and not be distinct.

The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life will single you out.

Even Christ Needed the Holy Spirit

Even Christ the savior was empowered by the Spirit to carry out prophecies that had been coming from Genesis concerning the Messiah. He needed the Holy Spirit to get into his activation phase.

Luke 4:16-22 — When Jesus came to the synagogue in Nazareth and stood to read, the scroll of Isaiah was handed to him. He read: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come." Then he said: "The scripture you've just heard has been fulfilled this very day."

When the Holy Spirit is active in your life, it will alter your character. When the Holy Spirit is active in your life, it will alter your competence. On the day of Pentecost, fire appeared and rested on each of the disciples. Fire never leaves anyone the same.

Whatever would stop you from manifesting the character of God and the competence of God in your life — I declare it is consumed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Whatever it is that destroys other people, I declare it will refine you. Fire can destroy, but when it comes to gold, fire refines.

Acts 10:38 — Your Personal Confession

Acts 10:38: "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him."

Now put your name there: How God anointed [your name] with the Holy Spirit and with power — I go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil, for God is with me.

In Luke 24:45, after the resurrection, the Bible says he opened their minds to understand the scriptures. But understanding the scriptures was not enough. Luke 24:49: "And now I will send the Holy Spirit just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven." You received the messages. You got the revelation. You received the promises, the prophecies. But we need the activating power.

The Holy Spirit Will Overshadow You

Angel Gabriel came in Luke 1:31-35 and gave Mary a prophecy that she would conceive Christ. Mary asked, "But how can this happen? I am a virgin." The angel replied: "The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy and he will be called the Son of God."

How will my marital destiny come into fulfillment? How will my career destiny be fulfilled? How will that transformation happen in my life? The answer: The Holy Spirit will come upon you. The power of the Most High is overshadowing you.

The Spirit of God — the third person of the Trinity — will take you over, fill your spirit, fill your soul, fill your mind, fill your emotions, fill your physical body. He will take you beyond the limits of human ability.

The power of the Holy Ghost overtook the natural law of reproduction because the prophecy said that was not necessary. Holy Spirit, bypass the laws of nature. Take me beyond the limits. What I lack in human ability, take over in my life. What I lack in human qualification, take over in my life.

Holy Spirit, come upon me and overshadow me and use me for your glory.

Holy Spirit that came upon David and used him to bring down Goliath with just a sling and a stone — bypass the laws of nature. Take me beyond the limits. Overshadow me. Fill me. In the mighty name of Jesus, bring me into that place of manifestation.

Joseph, you gave him a dream. Everything went haywire. But when the time came, nothing — no devil — could stop it. Holy Spirit, thank you. Empower me for total victory. Empower me to possess new territories. Empower me for the fulfillment of prophecy. Holy Spirit, come upon me. Overshadow me. Alter my character. Take me to a new level of competence. Make me a savior. Make me a deliverer.

The Old You Is Buried

The day the Holy Ghost came on Christ, he went into the river Jordan. John lowered him in and brought him up. The old Jesus was buried. The person that came out — the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit came upon him like a dove. It was from that day they began to call him the Christ. The anointed one.

I prophesy over you today in the name of Jesus. The old you is dead. There is a termination to the old you today. I declare in your life by the power of the Holy Ghost a resurrection. The power that enters a seed and grows it into a tree that produces many fruits — I declare that power releases transformation in your life in the name of Jesus.

Except a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains the way it is. But if it dies, it brings forth much fruit. I prophesy coming to your much fruit season. Evolve into a new person that you have never been before.

In the name of Jesus, I prophesy your manifestation — your manifestation of prophecy, your manifestation of dreams, your manifestation of old prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Dear God, I believe that Jesus paid for my sins. I ask you to forgive me and to accept me as your child. Thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus' name. Amen.
