Scriptures on the reign of God

1 Chronicles 29:11, Psalm 103:19, Daniel 7:14, Psalm 22:27-28

God reveals himself in many dimensions

In revealing himself to man, God has many dimensions through which he expresses himself

As God or Creator. That is his generic revelation to all men. It has nothing to do with being a child of God. He is the God of all flesh Jeremiah 32:27

As Lord and King

As Father. Isaiah revealed him as Father Isaiah 9:6. It was not a dimension well understood in the Old Testament. Jesus spoke so much about the fatherhood of God Matthew 6:9

Isaiah 40:28

The Lord, the Creator, the everlasting God are all the same person

We say this so that we understand what it means when we say the Lord reigns. It is a very rich, pregnant expression

3 basic ways to know God:

1. Study his nature
2. Study his ways and his principles
3. Study his works and his power. The psalmist contemplated the works of his hands, his majesty, and was left in awe

The Lord reigns: 2 dimensions

The Lord reigns zooms our focus to God's sovereign power and the extent of his dominion

If you miss these two dimensions, you will miss the whole revelation of this theme

1. A statement of fact

   It is a declaration to creation about God's sovereign power. It is not an advice. It is not a suggestion

   Whether you believe it or not, whether you agree or not, here is a verdict that the Lord reigns

   Kings of the earth in their pride and arrogance claim land and claim people

   Psalm 24:1

   It didn't say debate it or philosophize about it. It is a verdict from heaven

   This earth was not left without dominion and rulership. It is comfort to know there is a God who rules over the affairs of men

   Nebuchadnezzar, having become a beast, recognized through his pain that there is a God who rules over the affairs of men Daniel 4

   Whether we try to be scientific, bring in philosophy or religion, the verdict stands. They are not 10, they are not 20 Deuteronomy 6:4

2. An expression of God's will and desire

   This dimension is a call and a cry of the spirit. God desires for his government to find expression in our lives and in the world experientially

   This is the dimension I want to dwell in

   The Lord reigns means I desire that my dominion and influence find expression across the globe

   The reign of God refers to his life, his culture, his values, his wisdom and his power

4 areas where the Lord desires to reign in experience

If you can get this, you have gotten the revelation of this theme

1. Our hearts

   That is the first domain of his rulership. The pathway is salvation and surrender

   To an unbeliever it happens through salvation. To a believer it happens through surrender or yieldedness

   When you say the Lord reigns, it goes beyond the song and the chant. It is a cry of the spirit that his government be established first in your heart

   Luke 6:46

   The moment you call him Lord, there is a doing. The doing has to do with yieldedness John 2:5

   Proverbs 23:26

   Not just your offering, not just your time. Give me your heart. Whatever finds expression in your heart is your God

   When you sing "I give you my heart", you are saying I allow your governing influence, your culture, your life, your nature to find expression in my heart

   If you are not yielded, the Lord does not reign in your heart

2. Our minds

   This is profound. This is called transformation

   For many people the Lord reigns in their heart but not in their mind

   Philippians 2:5

   When the Lord reigns in your mind, he can influence your thinking so that your thinking becomes consistent with the word of God. This is where victory comes from

   You can be a consecrated believer, your heart belongs to him, but if his government does not influence your mind, you cannot manifest his dimension of dominion

   Jesus did not just reign because he was the Son of God. He had the mind of Christ 1 Corinthians 2:16

   It takes the union of the life of Christ plus the mind of Christ to produce victory

   Many believers have the life of Christ through salvation but have not yielded their thoughts, ideas and perspectives to the governing influence of the word

   Proverbs 14:12

   When you say the Lord reigns over my mind, I have submitted to the governing influence of heaven to culture my understanding and my perceptions. I only think his thoughts

   Any thought inconsistent with the word of God is a stranger in my mind. I will not think failure because I have the mind of Christ

   I will not think evil because I have the mind of Christ Proverbs 23:7

   Many believers have the life of Christ but do not behave like Christ because the software that governs their life does not belong to God

3. Our bodies

   Your body is a temple 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

   His dominion over your body first shows over your appetites. If he calls me to fast, I say yes sir. Gluttony is dead. Slumber is dead

   When Solomon built a temple for God, it was built with glory and splendor

   In the temple in the wilderness and Solomon's temple, blemishes were not allowed

   If this is the temple of the Holy Ghost, I have a right to challenge anything that looks like a blemish, sickness and disease

   The Lord and sickness cannot reign. The Lord and oppression cannot reign

   My body is already dedicated. Solomon dedicated the temple 2 Chronicles 6:41. It is his resting place. You have the authority to challenge anything that plagues your body

   You may not yet see the result while you say this. Your assignment is to insist and enforce that verdict. Number one is a verdict. Number two is a cry

   God is seeking that you partner with him to make it a reality

4. Our institutions and environment

   The Lord desires to reign over our businesses, our schools, our families, our nations. He wants his values, his wisdom and his power to find expression in our institutions and territories

   When you say the Lord reigns, you declare before creation that you agree he is the sovereign ruler. And you say amen, I come into partnership

   Let your government be resident within my heart, my mind, my body, my business and my home

6 things that happen when the Lord reigns becomes a living reality

His values, life, wisdom, power and the influence of the kingdom find expression in the life of an individual

1. You become Christlike in character and lifestyle, manifesting the fruit of the Spirit

   The life and nature of God swallows up your limitations. It does not matter whether you are sanguine, choleric, phlegmatic or melancholy. You will reflect the life of Christ Galatians 5:22-23

   "We are all angry people in our family." Not when the Lord reigns. His assignment is to destroy everything contrary

   I don't have to watch you pray in tongues to verify that you are a Christian. The outworkings of the life of God show: love, joy, patience

   When people ask, you who used to be so angry, what has changed? Your answer is that his government has found expression within my person

2. You function at a superior dimension of wisdom and intelligence

   This is the second proof that the Lord truly reigns in your life. Regardless of your academic or intellectual exposure, the government of heaven influences your thinking and understanding

   Job 32:8

   It is a spirit in man. Not an information, a spirit. The presence of God makes a man of understanding

   The 7 dimensions of the Spirit of God, and the third verse speaks of quick understanding Isaiah 11:3

   It should show in your business and at your place of work. You will be like Daniel, impeccable, excellent, productive, with ideas coming from heaven

   When people ask where you drew this intelligence, your answer is the Lord

3. You command tremendous levels of grace and spiritual power

   It is impossible for the government of heaven to rest in your life and you do not command a level of grace and power

   Power is not just falling down. Power is the capacity to influence outcomes. It is the capacity to alter anomalies until they become consistent with the will of God

   Believers are people of power Acts 3:6. It is because his government is resident within me

   Because the Lord reigns over your life, your mind, your destiny, you will begin to walk in tremendous levels of power. Your word will be like the word of God
   You will speak and cause things to shift. You will speak and cause things to change

4. You attract and manifest limitless possibilities of the kingdom

   Possibilities like favor, speed and influence

   If the president of Nigeria or any nation decides to visit Hallelujah Challenge, the governor of Lagos must be there, the ministers must be there

   They were not invited, but you invited the president in his capacity

   So when you say the Lord reigns, where will favor be? Where will speed be? There must be expressions that attest to his presence

   When the Lord reigns there is a fragrance, like a perfume

   What makes the nations listen to you so much that you can gather the nations in a studio, sing his praises and get the attention of generations across all age demographics?

   It is because the Lord reigns

   It is impossible to use science alone to get the attention of a generation that is busy, selfish, self-centered and largely demonized. God must be at work in your life

   Song of Solomon 1:3

   It personifies what happens when the glory of God is at work in you. There is an anointing

   It is not literal virgins, it is virgin dimensions and realms. They run to you. Dimensions your father and mother did not walk in

   Step into favor. Step into speed. Step into breakthroughs
   Because you have allowed the Lord to tabernacle over your destiny, your life will begin to command strange wonders, a sign and a wonder in the name of Jesus Christ

5. You enjoy supernatural protection and preservation from demonic attacks and wicked men

   When a nation takes over a territory, it has the responsibility to protect that territory. It is his responsibility. If my life belongs to him, he can keep it, and God keeps it well

   Satan came to claim the body of Moses. Moses had died, but he still needed the body. Michael met him and said, the Lord rebuke you Jude 1:9

   When you say the Lord reigns, you are saying: Satan, your schemings and plannings minus me. I am God's property. I am his investment. His jealousy defends me

   He stands behind me and beside me like a mighty, terrible one

   We thank God for dogs and for security architecture, but they do not protect against spirits. Dogs don't drive demons. A spirit will bypass a military man holding guns to reach your destiny. Not God

   The keeper of Israel Psalm 121:4

   Matthew 6:21

   If I am God's investment, he has an interest in my destiny. Anything that has to do with me gets his attention because I have donated myself to him

   I am God's investment. Carry that mentality. There is a price on you

   Whether in Nigeria, Ghana or the UK, I am still God's investment, jealously defended

   If you are around a responsible man's wife, even while he is praying he will turn to check that she is safe. Are you not the bride of Christ?

   Is he not responsible enough over you?

   Ephesians 5:25

   He loves me. The most important people in my life love me. Your noisy people around you do not matter, he loves you and that is enough

   I cut off the spirit of fear. The fear of death, of failure, of yesterday, of today, of tomorrow, of the future. The Lord reigns over your mind, your life, your destiny
   You will not die. He defends you. He protects you. You will not fail in the name of Jesus Christ

6. You become a sign and a wonder, a praise to the nations

   Isaiah 60:15

   Your life will cause men to know and glorify God Galatians 1:24. When they look at you they say, my God, what God can do with men

   You will be a living epistle of the wonderworking power of God 2 Corinthians 3:2

   As you grow in Christ and walk in the things of God, your life should truly be a wonder. You don't have to be a preacher

   It is the excellency of the grace and glory of God trapped in a human vessel. It should make somebody wonder

   Psalm 45:1

   As you speak, you will speak of excellent things. Your mind will function at an extraordinary frequency

   There are things men can do. There are things demons can do. But there are things only God can do

   Your life should be such that people look at it and you become a living Bible, the amplified version. Anything they did not understand when they opened those pages, God refers them to you

While preparing my notes I took time to pray over myself

I know the kind of prayers God says amen to, like this one

Prayer point 1: Thank him

Isaiah 40:28

Prayer point 2: Yield

We are insisting and enforcing that verdict. The Lord reigns means he desires to reign. His government cries to find expression in your heart, your mind, your body and across our institutions

Prayer point 3: Decree against resistance (pray aggressively and seriously)

1 Thessalonians 2:18, 1 Peter 5:8, James 4:7, Isaiah 61:3

Prayer: Manifest yourself

You are about to receive words that will change your life and shift you to a new dimension Job 6:25

5 prophetic words

1. It will still come to pass

   God is not slack concerning his promises. It may have been delayed, but I came to plant faith in your spirit. It will still come to pass
   Yes, you will still carry your baby. Yes, you will still move to another dimension. Yes, the ministry will still grow

   Psalm 30:5

   As surely as the Lord lives, joy will come with the morning

   2 Corinthians 4:17-18

   Businessman, mother, father, it will still come to pass. The emphasis is on still
   Regardless of what Satan has done, regardless of the antagonism in your place of work, regardless of the naysayers, haters and backbiters, God has spoken. It will still come to pass

   Genesis 21:1 and Genesis 21:6

   Put your name where you see Sarah. Watch your testimony

   It will still come to pass that I will carry the anointing. It will still come to pass that I will build that business
   You have been beaten down left, right and center, but God sent me to tell you it will still come to pass

2. Never lose your joy

   Joy is beyond a feeling. Joy is a strategy. It is an atmosphere and an environment in the spirit that allows things to grow

   Psalm 126:5

   Joy is the climate that allows your harvest to be a possibility

   No matter what you lose, do not lose your joy. Lose money but not your joy. Lose a job but not your joy. Satan knows the value of joy

   If your joy is not lost, Satan did not take anything in your life, because joy sustains the power to bring back

   Joy should never be connected to things coming in or going out. Every time the Bible talks about joy, it is the joy in the Lord or the joy of the Holy Ghost

   It is the fullness of joy that is connected to answered prayers. But joy is intrinsically based on the revelation of who God is Habakkuk 3:18

   This prophecy will be tested. For some of you it has already been tested. Make up your mind that you will not lose your joy

   Protect your joy. Defend your joy. Preserve your joy

3. There shall be no loss

   You are afraid because it looks like you have lost and lost. Opportunities, relationships, so many things

   In this season you are entering, Hallelujah Challenge is ushering you into another season. There shall be no loss. Not of your life, not of your joy, not of your anointing
   There shall be no loss in the name of Jesus Christ
   To a cancer patient, there shall be no loss. From the US to the UK, to Zimbabwe, Ghana, South Africa, Abuja, Lagos, I prophesy to you, there shall be no loss

4. Come up higher

   I received this one for myself before telling you. It is a cry of the spirit

   I heard in my spirit at least three times, come up hither. This is for those dissatisfied with where they are

   You have encompassed this mountain long enough. You have done well, but leave that level of grace, wealth, intelligence. Rise to another one

   Proverbs 4:18

   Businessman, you have done well, but come up hither. Prayer warrior, intercessor, you have done well. Apostle, prophet, evangelist, you have done well with soul winning, but come up hither

   It is time to be trailblazers for the kingdom

   Worshippers, prophetic psalmists, you have done well, but come up hither. It is time to write new songs Psalm 96:1

   Psalm 149:6-9

   We are in a season where God is trusting us with capacity, grace to do more for the kingdom

   I speak over you the grace to be dissatisfied with where you are. The grace to press for more. Deeper levels of prayer, power and revelation. Receive that grace in Jesus name

   Sometimes the reason we stop rising is today's success. Success can destroy as much as failure. You have seen the anointing, that is why you will not see another layer

   You have seen wealth, that is why you will not see another layer

   John was already in heaven. He had seen chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4. After those great experiences, a door was open in heaven and a voice said, come up hither Revelation 4:1

   There is always more in God

   There are still songs to come in the body of Christ, songs of revival and songs of power

   Men of God, we have preached great sermons, but there is still what God wants his body to hear. There is a level of kingdom wealth God wants to bring

5. God is involved, therefore it will not fail

   This is not for everybody, but may it minister to the spirit of someone

   Every other variable may fail, but because God decided, I will not fail. The one who sends a child also backs that child up

   Because God is involved in my life, in my business, in Hallelujah Challenge, it will not fail

   God is involved means wisdom is involved. Favor is involved. Timely help is involved. Mercy is involved. Power is involved

   Psalm 102:13

   Those waiting for me to fail, waiting to hear that I have gone down, you will waste your time forever. God is involved in my life. I cannot fail. Your worship ministry will not fail
   Your business will not fail. As confused as you are, you will still not fail because God has decided to be involved in the affairs of your life

   There are things that should fail in your life. The prophecy about it failing is correct. But God is involved

   When God is involved, his very presence can make a rod bud even though it is not connected to the earth Numbers 17:8

   The principle is that the root must touch the ground, but God is not just a higher kind of man

   I have seen firsthand what happens to ordinary men when God decides to back them. It is fearful when God vows upon a man

   When God insists upon a man, woe to the person who waits for him to fall

   Like he is involved in your business and your child. I know the boy is still autistic, but find comfort. God is involved

   If it takes 10 years, 20 years, it will only be glory to glory

   Before you conclude on a man, verify if God is involved. If God is still involved in that life, shut your mouth

   Job 14:7-9

   You who would not watch it, you who would probably criticize it, a force beyond you drew you to this broadcast. It is beyond Joshua Selman and beyond the Hallelujah Challenge team

   God has decided on your case. It is time for Saul to become Paul. It is time for the woman at the well to become an evangelist

   It is time for the madman of Gadara to become an evangelist. Nothing fails when God is involved

   Romans 8:28

   We who are in the kingdom have an information that gives us the ability to endure things that are not working

   All things: your disappointment, your pain, the guy who said you will marry and ran away. In the kingdom we know

   Illustration: the food competition

   In food competitions they bring the remains of an overnight meal, maybe leftover rice, and tell the contestants to use their creativity and make a healthy meal out of it

   God's raw material is nothing. It does not matter what you bring to the table. Foolishness, laziness, the remaining part of your damaged life, God says just bring it

   As soon as it gets there, whatever you drop becomes clay and he becomes a potter and starts remaking it. Like gold smelted under fire, it becomes liquid and malleable

   Out of the ashes, because God is involved. Let men keep their conclusions. Using common sense, they will say this man and this family will remain beggars forever. They are right, except God is involved

   God can be involved in your life, but are you involved in the process of your own change?

Come to Jesus

Revelation 22:17

We have listened to the word, prayed and received prophetic words. I cannot end without giving someone an opportunity

Being under the influence of this broadcast is a sign that God is involved in your life

Matthew 11:28

He leaves you with an assurance of rest

Jesus is the Son of the living God. He is Savior. He is God's gift to you John 3:16

He was given because we are not able to help ourselves. He came as a propitiation for our sin

John 3:17

I propose to you a better life than what you have seen and lived. You have given your loyalty and attention to things of lesser value

Why don't you trust Jesus with the remaining part of your life and let him pick it up, sometimes in pieces, and remake glory and beauty out of it?
