Rhapsody of Realities — A Week in Review

The Rhapsody of Realities for December opens with the article He Was Your Representative, from 2 Corinthians 5:18-19. There was only one sacrifice necessary for salvation — the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Jesus took your place in his death. When he was dying on the cross, you were dying on that cross because he was your representative before God. He did it for the whole world. That means you were buried when Jesus was buried. The whole world of sinners was buried with him because he was the representative.

The next article, The Value of a Soul, draws from Mark 8:36. To God, one's soul is worth more than all the wealth, resources, and power in the world. Nothing compares to the worth of a human soul. The Lord Jesus did not die for systems, buildings, or vegetations — he died for people. Every soul carries eternal value. Their value is the blood of Jesus Christ. Joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents more than over 99 just persons which need no repentance — Luke 15:7. If all heaven rejoices over one sinner that repents, how much more should we labour to see it happen again and again?

The article for December 3rd — The Gospel of the Grace of God — draws from Acts 20:24. The gospel of Jesus Christ is not a religious message. It is the good news of God's grace — the announcement of his love, his favour, and his kindness toward humanity. The gospel of grace is not about condemnation. It is about justification — lifting the fallen and calling the lost into a glorious inheritance.

December 4th, Living by the Spirit and by the Word, from John 1:12-13. Christianity is living by the spirit and by the word of God. Your life came from the word of God. The whole universe was created by the word of God. Romans 8:11 — If the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit. Divinity has taken its abode in you. Christianity is life in the word, by the word, through the word, and by the spirit — the supernatural work of God's heavenly children on the earth.

December 5th, You Were Born for This, from Esther 4:14 — and who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this. Esther did not know she was part of a divine setup until Mordecai opened her eyes. Her position as queen was not for comfort — it was for purpose. The same is true of you. There is nothing accidental about your life. Predestination is at work in you. Your birth, your placement, and your assignment in the kingdom are all divinely orchestrated. You were born for such a time as this — strategically positioned by God to influence and impact your world for his glory.

December 6th, Let the Gospel Be Your Passion, from Romans 1:16. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver, and transform lives. It must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share — especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than ever. Paul the Apostle declared he was not ashamed of the gospel. For him, preaching was not optional but life itself. Let the gospel dominate your thoughts, your words, and your pursuits. Every time you share the gospel, you release divine power. Even those who pretend not to be listening will one day succumb to the power as the word is sown in their hearts.

And on this glorious day, December 7th, the article is Serve the Lord Steadfastly and with Joy, from 1 Corinthians 15:58 — be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for your labour is not in vain. Our Christian life is not a game. It is serious, based on spiritual principles. The rapture of the church is nearer today than ever before. Every day must be stirred — examine yourself and make sure your life is as the Word says. Stay focused on the Word. Joshua 1:7 — Turn not from it to the right hand or the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. Let the word have dominion over your mind, your spirit, your thoughts, and your opinions. Psalm 119:105 — The word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 warns that falling away shall come first. Matthew 24:12 — because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. So remain fervent in your love for the Lord. Let nothing dissipate your faith and zeal for spiritual things. Watch your heart. Protect your spirit. Walk in love. John 13:35 — by this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. The Christian life is a journey. Every day is a new day to walk in love, walk in the light, bear fruits of righteousness. Make every day count by serving the Lord steadfastly and with joy.

Dear Father, thank you for the honor of knowing and serving you — steadfast, fervent, and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. My love for you is ever increasing as I serve you with a joyful heart, full of passion. Purposefully I shine ever brightly in these last days, revealing your glory and manifesting your righteousness. In Jesus name, amen.

Testimony of Healing — Easterling Antonio Lopez, Nicaragua

In February 2025, Easterling Antonio Lopez from Nicaragua developed an abscess on his neck region. After several tests, he was diagnosed with skin cancer. He was also diagnosed with diabetes. Treatments and medications produced no improvement — conditions only worsened. Surgery was performed but the wound would not heal. Throughout the entire process, he prayed to the Lord, asking for healing because the pain and discomfort was unbearable.

During this period, he heard about the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris, registered, and participated. During the service, the man of God ministered healing to the global audience:

Now, put your hand where you need that miracle. I command the disease to go. I command the infirmity to leave you. I command the pains to cease, the wounds to be healed in the name of Jesus Christ, the bones to be mended in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. That part of your body that was said to be dead, that there is no life there — I command life to come back to it in the name of Jesus. I command feeling to be restored in the name of the Lord Jesus.

At that moment, Easterling had a supernatural encounter. He received the word of healing into his spirit and knew he was healed. The wound — so large a doctor's hand could fit through it — got healed and was closed to the glory of God.

God's Boundless Love — Pastor Benny Hinn

From John 15:13 — Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. When Jesus spoke these words, he was about to demonstrate his greatest love for his disciples. He wanted them to know the depth of that love.

In Romans 5:5-10, four statements describe the human condition before knowing the Lord: without strength, ungodly, sinners, and enemies. Yet while we were in each of these states, he loved us and Christ died for us. Not only were we without strength, not only were we ungodly — we were sinners, disobedient, rebellious — but he loved us. We were enemies, yet we were reconciled to God by the death of his son.

You are more precious to him than all creation. More precious than all the angels in glory. He said, your hairs are numbered — he did not say that to the angels. The value of any item is what someone is willing to pay for it. All the money in the world is not enough. All creation is not enough. He said: I am going to pay with my own life. That is the greatest value he placed on you. The price is life.

Jeremiah 31:3 — I have loved thee with an everlasting love. Therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee. His love is not temporary — it is eternal.

From Romans 8:35-39:

  • Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  • For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus. Nothing. If all the angels stood before the throne begging God to stop loving us, he would say no.

Love is more powerful than any force on earth. The first thing out of the lips every morning: all the glory, all the honour, all the praise, all majesty, all dominion, power, and authority belongs to you — most beloved, most wonderful, most precious, holy heavenly Father, most wonderful, most beloved, cherished darling Jesus, most blessed Holy Spirit. Then: Lord, watch over my heart today. Bend it toward you. Don't let the pollution of the world in there. Keep this heart yours, sanctified for your glory.

1 John 3:1 — Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God. 1 John 4:9-10 — In this was manifested the love of God toward us because God sent his only begotten son into the world that we might live through him. He displayed that love when he died on the cross. His death on the cross revealed God's love for us — our value in his sight, our worth to him.

I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, my Lord.

Love your children out of their bondage. Love your children out of their darkness. Love your children out of their sin — and you will see change in their life. Love never fails. Jesus did not give up on us. Let us not give up on our families and loved ones and friends.

Inspiring Quote

Sermon

"One symptom of backsliding is that you begin to look down on the simple things that keep you on fire, calling a devotional 'just milk.' It's not about the information, it's about the consistency."
