We Do Business With Words

Genesis 12:1-2 — God said to Abraham: get out of your country, from your family and your father's house to a land I will show you. I will make you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing.

One of the most powerful ways to get out of the lifestyle of hustling is to have your name blessed. There are names that when mentioned, doors open. There are names that when mentioned, doors close. The name of a man can either shut a door or open it.

God operates through three levels: power — authority over snakes and scorpions; authority — what you say becomes; and name — that's the level Jesus operated in. God has highly exalted him and given him a name above all names. When the name of a man becomes blessed, when people hear it, they naturally honor it.

In this kingdom, we do business with words. Before this place became a venue, it was first a statement. The blessing is captured in a statement.

When God said to Abraham, "I will bless you" — did he give him money? Did he give him houses? He gave him words. Those words were hanging around waiting to be quickened. Our life is powered by the word.

The Alert of the Spirit

If I contact my bank and transfer a large amount to you, at what point do you rejoice? When you hold the money — or when you receive the alert? The alert is as true as holding the money.

In the place of prayer, the moment there's an alert in your spirit that it is settled — even when it has not touched your hands physically — if you don't switch to joy at that moment, you don't know God.

For a woman trusting God for the fruit of the womb: at what point do you begin to rejoice? At the point you get pregnant — or at the point joy comes in prayer? Because joy is the alert that it is done.

Sometimes the prayer is not answered for lack of response to a move of the spirit. You get an alert in your spirit. This is done. At that point, if you don't rejoice, you are not part of the move of the spirit.

Pray According to His Will — Which Is Already Established

We pray according to his will. The will of God must first be established, then prayer follows. He said, "I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers."

Someone is sick — that sickness is the intruder. You place your hands there and cast out the devil from your body. It is God's will for you to walk in health. It is God's will for you to walk in dominion, in power, in the anointing.

Joy Is the Secret of the Blessing

Joel 1:10-12 — the field is wasted, the land mourns, the grain is ruined, the new wine dried up. He says the vine is dried up, the fig tree withered, all the trees of the field are withered. Why? Because joy is withered away.

When joy goes down, everything goes down. Those who walk in the blessing know this secret.

Jeremiah 30:19 — out of them shall proceed thanksgiving, and the voice of them that make merry. I will multiply them and they shall not diminish.

The most joyful church around will be the fastest growing one. There are angels in charge of expansion — when there's joy they just begin to measure and expand. An offended church cannot grow. The blessing is not compatible with strife.

The Force Is in Looking and Speaking

Genesis 13:14 — after Lot had separated, the Lord said to Abraham: lift up your eyes now and look from the place where you stand — northward, southward, eastward, westward. For all the land which you see, I give to you.

God never said this while Lot was present. There are things God will not say until you separate yourself from what is causing strife. The moment you see strife, separate.

Every time God says "look," he is not a tour guide — he is trying to show you pictures. Those who walk in the blessing have pictures. Those who understand the blessing speak forth what they see.

God told Abraham to look at the stars if he could count them. Then he told Israel, "Look to Abraham your father." Sometimes you look to a man who has seen the star — because he is a prototype of what you can become.

God cannot change anything in your life if he cannot get you to look. So believers don't pray with eyes closed — we pray looking at pictures.

When you confess, three people need to hear: yourself, the devil, and the angels. Your confessions are the requests that angels walk with.

From today, I am no longer backward. I am no longer stagnant. When my name is mentioned, doors open. I have access to opportunities I have never seen before. Favor gravitates toward me. Smallness is deleted from my life. Sickness no longer reigns in my body. Everywhere I step, I possess.

From today, every aspect of my destiny begins to speak.

I have access to new streams of ideas and inspiration.

I see what ordinary men cannot see.

The hand of God is upon my life.
