The God Who Reveals Himself Through Light

A generation is without hope when its capacity for revelation is diminished. 2 Corinthians 3:18 declares: "We all, with unveiled faces, behold the glory of the Lord as in a mirror and are transformed." When you encounter the light, you are changed. One of the greatest encounters God wants His people to have is an encounter with the light of God — an awakening of understanding in the mind.

No destiny is too wasted for God to use. One of God's primary roles is His role as Creator, and when you study the economy of God's sovereignty, you discover three things that make God sovereign.

Three Pillars of God's Sovereignty

1. His Divinity — The Attributes He Shares

   God's divinity consists of attributes that originate from Him alone but which He chooses to impart. When you find someone who is righteous, he has received it from God. When you find someone who speaks truth, he has received it from God. When you find someone who loves genuinely, he has received it from God. When you find someone who is faithful, he has received it from God.

   • Justice — Only God is just. All righteousness in men flows from Him.
   • Truth — No mind has the capacity to be truly true. Only God is truth.
   • Love — Only God is love. Any love in creation is a derivative.
   • Faithfulness — Only God is inherently faithful.

   These attributes He is willing to share — to impart to those He calls.

2. His Divinity — The Attributes He Does Not Share

   Beyond the shareable attributes, God wears certain attributes that belong to Him alone. There must be a distinction between creation and Creator. He is sovereign not only in what He gives but in what He reserves. This distinction guards the uniqueness of His Godhood and prevents creation from confusing itself with its Maker.

3. His Creative Power and Redemptive Acts

   Every dispensation of God's dealings with men has been characterized by supernatural acts. In Genesis 1:1–3, God created everything from nothing. When the earth was ruined by judgment, He recreated it. When evil overtook the earth in Genesis 6, He rebuilt from the flood. The supernatural is not a function of luck — it is a reality that, when understood, can be modeled and replicated. God introduces Himself as a God of wonders, and He wants to be known in that order.

God as Creator: No Destiny Is Beyond His Reach

When God functions as Creator, He does not merely make new things — He restores ruined things. The same God who spoke light into void darkness is the God who speaks purpose into wasted lives. When you come to Him, He does not see what you have become through failure and sin. He sees the raw material of destiny and begins to create.

This is the economy of God's influence: He takes the least likely vessel and through the impartation of His own nature — His righteousness, His wisdom, His love, His power — He makes that vessel a conduit of kingdom transformation.

How God's Influence Operates Through People

God's influence does not move in the abstract. It moves through people who carry His nature. When He enlarges a person:

• That person becomes a reference point for others seeking God
• Their credibility carries the weight of the One who enlarged them
• Their words shape decisions, their presence shapes environments
• Their life becomes the proof of what God says

Isaiah 60:3: "Gentiles shall come to thy light and kings to the brightness of thy rising." This is the economy of influence — God's kingdom advancing through lives that are enlarged, transformed, and sent.

People are shaped by the quality of the encounters they have. When God opens a person to revelation, it does not just change their mind — it changes their trajectory, their capacity, and their sphere of influence.

Positioning Yourself in God's Economy

To enter the economy of God's influence, a person must:

• Encounter the light — Allow revelation to transform, not just inform. The mirror of the glory in 2 Corinthians 3:18 is progressive transformation, not a one-time glimpse.
• Receive God's nature — The attributes God shares — righteousness, love, truth, faithfulness — must be received and expressed. These are not just theological categories; they are the substance of kingdom influence.
• Cooperate with the Holy Spirit and the Word — God's creative power works in partnership with human cooperation. He furnishes the empowerment; we provide the vessel and the willingness.
• Understand destiny as God's investment — Every life is a creation project. God does not abandon unfinished work. The question is whether you will align yourself with His creative process.
