The Power of Revelation
There is creative power in information that originates from God. And the one that originates from God, we call it revelation — because it presents a reality that is not accessible to the five senses.
John 6:63 in the Message Bible: The spirit can make life. Sheer muscle and willpower don't make anything happen. Every word I've spoken to you is a spirit word and so it is life-making.
Manifestation begins with revelation. This is the foundation for everything.
Isaiah 55:8-11: I don't think the way you think. The way you work isn't the way I work. God's decree. For as the sky soars high above the earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don't go back until they water the earth, doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry — so will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They will do the work I send them to do. They will complete the assignment I gave them.
God's word can never fail. Revelation cannot fail.
A Testimony of Divine Direction in Business

Engineer Charles Alade Woluu describes himself as a "word printer" — an entrepreneur who runs his business based on God said. In the early years of his business, he manufactured machines that process palm fruit to produce palm oil. He identified 30 farms across Nigeria, went on a two-month trip visiting each of them. They were delighted with the brochures — but every time they heard the price, they said it was too expensive. He returned to Lagos with not one single sale.
While praying and asking the Holy Spirit what to do, he had a dream. In the dream, he saw himself going into an office on Broad Street, climbing stairs, approaching a particular door, and walking in. He woke up and decided: this must be a revelation from God.
He went to Broad Street. Found the building. Climbed the stairs. Found the door — it was a Federal Ministry office. The receptionist was absent at that exact moment. He knocked on the director's door and walked straight in. The director said: "Wonderful — it's as if you were eavesdropping on what we were discussing in this office yesterday. This is the solution to what we're looking for."
The federal government bought several units of the machines and distributed them to farmers for free. And that was where the orders started coming — to the point where they built their own factory in Ondo State, commissioned by the head of state.
That is how the life of a Christian works.
Have the Right Attitude Toward Revelation
When Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" — he was quoting from Deuteronomy 8:1-3. Moses told Israel: "The Lord your God took you through this terrible wilderness and allowed you to hunger and thirst, so that he might test you and make you know that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." Some of the challenges people go through are God's way of adjusting the mind — shifting the value system away from the material toward the intangible.
Job 23:10-12: "But he knows the way that I take. When he has tested me, I shall come forth as gold... I have not departed from the commandment of his lips. I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my necessary food."

The instinct for survival is the strongest in man — food is man's number one need. For someone to say they value the words that come from God more than food — that is what Jesus was saying: value the word of God.
What is alarming today is how people rank their own opinions and experiences over God said. Someone will say, "I've tried it and it has worked for me." But when did your experience become the ultimate validation for what God said? When did your result become the validation of God said? Are we not aware that Satan also produces results? If it does not align with the word, it is out.
Paul said to the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 2:1-4: "When I was among you, I preached nothing except Christ and him crucified." A simple test for anything: Does it manifest love? Is it Bible?
Joshua 1:8: "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth. You shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have success."
Psalm 1:1-3: "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly nor stand in the way of sinners nor sit in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season. His leaf also shall never wither and whatever he does shall prosper."
Isaiah 66:2: "My hands have made both heaven and earth. They and everything in them are mine. I, the Lord, have spoken. I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word."

Ensure Your Spiritual Equipment Is Working
Revelation is spiritual reality. You can only receive it with your spirit — the intangible part of you. Job 32:8: "There is a spirit in man. The inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding."
When God said to Adam, "The day you eat the fruit, you will die" — he was not talking about physical death. He was talking about disconnection from himself. You would take on Satan's nature and lose God's nature.
Do you have God's nature? As a human being, you are a transmission and receiving station. Romans 8:16: "The spirit of God bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God." Read John 8:43-47 — Christ was saying to the Jews: "Why don't you have capacity to hear what I'm saying? You are of your father the devil." Satan has nothing to do with the truth, so those who belong to him lack the capacity to receive God's word. You need to be born again. Every human being is born with the sin nature — that nature does not have capacity to receive from God.

Expand Your Mental Capacity — Your "Frying Pan"
There are things God wants to say and He can't say — not because He lacks, but because the container isn't ready. Luke 5:37-38: "No one pours new wine into old wineskins. The new wine will burst the wineskin and be spilled. You pour new wine into new wineskins." Heaven has no problem with resources. The problem is always the container.
There is a part of the brain called the RAS — the reticular activating system. It prevents the brain from exploding under the volume of stimuli from five senses. Once you've developed your belief system and decided what's okay and what's not, your brain automatically filters out the things that disturb it. If you will receive revelation, you must reprogram that RAS.
In Acts 10, God appeared to Peter with a vision of a large sheet from heaven — all kinds of animals, including those the law said were unclean. God said: "Arise, Peter. Kill and eat." Peter refused three times: "Lord, I have never eaten anything unclean." God said: "You cannot call unclean what I call clean." How many things are you saying "I have never" to? That is how many ideas from God you are throwing back into the river.
Don't be caught by the limitations of your culture. The part of the world that values logic, research, and principles is the part that has advanced in terms of development. Principles govern this world — and when you grow up not valuing the laws that govern things, you cannot create. What is complex for us is simple for God. But when God introduces those solutions, if our RAS is not reprogrammed, we will throw them away.
In 1 Corinthians 1:18-24, Paul said: "The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved it is the power of God. The Jews seek for signs. The Greeks seek for wisdom. But to us that are saved, Christ is the wisdom of God and the power of God."
You will not get the best out of Christ if you don't value information, if you don't value principles, if you don't value revelation. John the Apostle — after living so closely with Christ — called him the Word of God. The Greek word logos was already being used by Greek culture as the name for ultimate rationality, the essence of everything, the original principle for creation. John said: "Ladies and gentlemen, the logos is not an abstract thing. The logos is a person."
I pray for the Holy Spirit to sanctify your mind, purify your mind, anoint your mind in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Whatever programming stands between you and the fulfilment of your destiny — by the power of God, we destroy that. We receive enlargement of heart, enlargement of frying pans. This year, like Joseph, like Daniel, God will use you to solve major problems in the mighty name of Jesus. Everything else that people pray for will come as fringe benefit — your wealth is coming as fringe benefit, your promotion is coming as fringe benefit, favour is coming to you as fringe benefit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
