Blessed with All Spiritual Blessings

Ephesians 1:3-6

Paul opens Ephesians with a sweeping declaration: God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Not some. Not a portion. All. And spiritual blessings are what birth physical blessings.

We are blessed according as he had chosen us in him before the foundation of the world — that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. And he predestined us for adoption as his children. Adoption and being chosen go hand in hand. When you adopt a child, you walk into an orphanage, look around at many children, and choose one. That is what God did when he chose you.

You are chosen. Satan — who are you? I am chosen.

Eyes Open to Know What You Have

Ephesians 1:17-20

Paul prays that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. That the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened — that we may know.

What are we supposed to know? The exceeding greatness of his power toward us. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That power is not distant — it is directed toward us.

Knowledge is the key. My people perish for lack of knowledge. Maturity in God comes from light — from knowing.

Seated Far Above — Not Bombarding from Below

Ephesians 1:20-23

God raised Jesus from the dead and seated him at his own right hand in heavenly places — far above all principalities, powers, might, dominion, and every name that is named — not just in this age, but in the age to come.

And we are seated there with him.

You are not trying to get above principalities. You are already seated above them.

Some people talk about "clearing the territory" before they can pray effectively — as if there are territorial spirits above them. But Daniel was not in Christ. Daniel was not seated in heavenly places. That is why the prince of Persia had power to delay the answer to his prayer. But you are in Christ. You are far above those princes.

You do not bombard the gates of heaven with prayer — you speak to your Father. Father to son. Deep to deep. Spirit to spirit.

This is not just positional language. It is practical. You are seated far above cancer. Far above every disease. Far above every diagnosis. Far above every barrenness. Far above PCOS and fibroids and every growth the doctor calls by a name.

Know your position. You are not fighting for victory — you are enforcing it from a position of dominion that has already been secured.

Inspiring Quote

Sermon

"One symptom of backsliding is that you begin to look down on the simple things that keep you on fire, calling a devotional 'just milk.' It's not about the information, it's about the consistency."

- Apostle Emmanuel Iren
