Introduction to Kingdom Finances

Our world is economically driven - you will need a certain level of abundant financial resources to enjoy an honourable life, fulfil your goals, dreams, vision, and advance the program of God.

The absence of financial resources will cripple any life, destiny, and vision.

Definitions Needed

Prosperity

It means advancement, well doing, fruitfulness - to prosper means to do well.

Riches

The presence of abundant financial resources

Wealth

The presence of abundant financial resources, peace, and the systems that are put in place that guarantee multiplication and sustainable financial resources.

It's the word replenish.

Kingdom Wealth

This is wealth with purpose - the advancement of the program of God.

When your wealth fails to serve the purposes of the Kingdom, it cannot be called kingdom wealth.

Lack

Psalm 34:10

Lack refers to insufficiency of financial resources to meet your needs.

Poverty

It is a state of no or limited financial resources largely caused by the absence of productivity.

Why God Blesses Us in the Kingdom

1. For our comfort
2. Kingdom advancement
3. To reveal God's love in a dying world in a practical and definite way

How Kingdom Finances Work

The starting point of every financial journey is to have a certain body of knowledge.

1. It is the will of God for you to do well economically and financially
2. Prospering economically and financially is one of the blessings that come with loving and serving Jesus Psalm 103:5
3. You can have abundant financial resources without knowing God or loving God, but the peace and fulfillment connected to it will not be yours until you have a relationship with Jesus
   Listen to what you seek
4. Wealth and advancement in the kingdom are not a function of luck and sentiments but of principles, laws, human factors, and then spiritual empowerment
5. God does not decide who becomes wealthy and poor, He sets before you the platform, and it is up to you to use the power of knowledge, decisions, and actions to determine your portion. There are times the hand of God can be for or against a man, but ultimately, it is not God who decides.

   Deuteronomy 30:19

6. Kingdom wealth is not just about becoming a millionaire or billionaire, it is about having financial resources that help you to meet your needs, empower you to fulfill your God-given assignment, and to become a blessing to your world
7. Both poverty and abundance have tripartite manifestations.

      For Wealth:

      dignity, patience, discipline, integrity, the law of process

      If your mindset locks or opens your destiny, it remains so

   3. There's a physical/economic dimension

      For Poverty:

      laziness

   There are always signs that follow your beliefs.

Factors Responsible for Poverty

There's a science and explanation to why individuals remain poor

1. Ignorance or incomplete knowledge of God's economic system or lack of education of financial systems
2. The Absence of Skill or Value

   Proverbs 18:16

   The easiest way to be valuable is to be educated.

   The person who is educated has a higher chance to be emancipated than who is not.

   Education extends to other meanings - the ability to read and write, and then communicate.

   Once there's no production, there will always be poverty.

   You must love the Lord far beyond money

2. You must contend for mental transformation. Invest in education

   Build and increase your knowledge bank

3. Be productive
4. Build strategic network and relationships, be part of relevant groups that are around your area of value, attend programs to meet like-minded people.
5. Build emotional strength and resilience

6. Cry out for spiritual empowerment

   The Power to Prosper:

   1. Alters/heightens/quickens your understanding

   3. Comes upon your feet - strategic direction
