Recap: The Three Components of the Gospel
The gospel that can save humanity and transform society is three-fold. The first component is Christ and his works — his incarnation, sinless life, death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and enthronement. The second component is the transformation of the individual — the birth of the new creation. The third, which we focus on today, is the transformation of territories, systems, nations, and the globe.
The Four Offices of Christ
Paul said, we preach Christ — meaning four things:
- God the Son — Equal with the Father. John 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:16. He is worthy of worship.
- Son of God — The errand runner of salvation. John 3:16. He stepped down from the privileges of divinity — the kenosis doctrine — to bring salvation to man.
- Son of Man — He represents man in the realm of God. Daniel 7:13-14. The kingdom was given to him as the one who represents humanity before God.
- The Christ — The anointed one, the Christos. He carries the empowerment of God and can delegate it. Matthew 16:16-18 — On this revelation, Jesus said he would build his church. Colossians 2:9 — the fullness of the godhead dwells in him bodily.

The Tokens of the Gospel
Every time the gospel is preached and the Spirit is engaged, these tokens must manifest. When they do, they must be applied — because these are the things that change society.
Wisdom
Luke 1:17 — Even John's ministry heralded wisdom as a component of the gospel. The ministry of Christ was to bring the disobedient to the wisdom of the just. Yet today our gospel does not have longitude in the dimension of wisdom.
1 Corinthians 2:12-15 — We have received the Spirit of God that we might know the things freely given to us by God. These things we speak not with human wisdom but with words the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. The natural man cannot receive them.

Look at Joseph — Genesis 41:33-40. A prisoner with no formal training spoke before Pharaoh and Pharaoh stood up in awe. Psalm 105:17-21 — God made him ruler of Pharaoh's household and taught his senators wisdom. Look at Daniel — Daniel 5. The queen cited him as a man in whom is the spirit of the holy God: excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, dissolving of doubts. Look at Solomon — 1 Kings 4:29-34 — God gave him wisdom exceeding the wisdom of all the children of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.
How can you pray in tongues for 10 hours and still be confused about every area of your life? The gospel was designed to make you wise. When you encounter the God who created the universe by wisdom, you cannot remain foolish.
The saints should be the ones called when economies are broken, governments are confused, or businesses are stranded. The church is where we charge — the world is where we shine.
Faith
Romans 10:16-17 — Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. But most believers have reduced faith to laying hands on the sick and casting out devils. Hebrews 11:33-34 — Through faith, they subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, quenched the violence of fire, waxed valiant, and turned to flight the armies of the alien.
Faith is the force that makes you dare to enter an investment. Faith is what makes you move from one location to another knowing you will excel. Faith is tenacity — it does not back down. The just shall live by their faith — meaning in every area of life, faith is necessary.
The unbeliever tries six businesses, they fail, and he goes to the seventh. But the believer fails once and folds up. That is not faith. Faith does not accept permanent defeat.
The Anointing
2 Kings 7:1-4 — In a besieged nation where women were eating their children, the prophet spoke by the same anointing that opens blind eyes and caused the entire economy to turn around in 24 hours.
The anointing is empowerment. Whatever you commit yourself to, there is empowerment on it. Elisha changed water, multiplied oil, discovered a missing axe head, and turned an entire nation's economy. The scope of the anointing is not limited to miracles in a service — it heightens intelligence, activates strategy, and gives you wisdom in the marketplace.
When you pray in tongues before a meeting, before a business decision, before entering a board room — the anointing switches on. Paul was a tentmaker and was a star in the marketplace. Daniel was sought because of what he carried.
Righteousness
Romans 5:17 — They which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life. The word reign is basilious — it means to king through life. Wherever you find yourself, you take charge. Jesus fed 5,000 with five loaves — that is kinging. He turned water into wine at a wedding — that is kinging. Righteousness does not just keep you from sin. It gives you authority to handle any situation with divine ease.
How to Live in These Tokens
- Prayer — When you pray, wisdom is quickened and the anointing is stirred. Jeremiah 33:3 — Ask of me and I will show you great and mighty things.
- Fasting — There are deposits in you that will not be stirred until you fast. Matthew 17:21. When Esther fasted, favour was activated — Esther 4:16, 5:2.
- Meditation on the Word — Joshua 1:8 — Meditate day and night; then you make your way prosperous.
- Declaration — Stop lamenting and start decreeing. Job 22:28 — You shall decree a thing and it shall be established. The problem with too many believers is that when they should give command, they are fidgeting.
- Obedience to the Spirit — As many as are led by the Spirit, they are sons of God — Romans 8:14.
- Discipleship — The more you hear, the more you become. Acts 2:42, 2:47 — they continued daily.
You have been armed to change your world. You are not the light of the church — Jesus is. You are the light of the world. Bankers, lawyers, doctors, politicians are waiting to see your light. The power and grace for leadership is coming upon you now. From today, you begin your assignment from Jerusalem to your uttermost part of the earth, transforming and changing your world in the name of Jesus Christ.
