The finished work of Christ

When Jesus had healed somebody and saw him sometime later, he gave a warning John 5:14. What is he intimating?

The only way to experience permanent victory is to make sure you are not doing anything that gives the enemy an inroad

A lot of people emphasize moral misdemeanors. But there is such a thing as the sin of unbelief.

Because you have not embraced your rights and privileges in the Lord, it seems like you are still struggling when you should not be

Until the church comes to a full grasp of who they are in Christ, you will always need prayer for something. You will always need deliverance from something

Go and throw away that item that Baba gave you.

Stop this thing you are doing. It will put you in trouble.

If you want to stay with God, stay with God.

Three texts, and notice the pattern: 1 Peter 2:9, Colossians 1:13, Acts 26:18. This also connects to the theme of the month, the ecclesia

The pattern: out of, and into

1 Peter 2:9

Colossians 1:13

He delivered us. Past tense. Not he will deliver us. Personalize it: he delivered me and conveyed me

It is not just what they turned from, it is what they turned to

The Bible emphasizes what he brought you out of and what he brought you into. Every new creation must be conscious of both

Many imbalances necessitate the differentiation and the several denominations in the body of Christ. Deliverance ministries emphasize what he has brought us out of. Teaching ministries emphasize what he has brought us into.

There need not be a dichotomy. You must walk in the consciousness of both

Everyone in Christ has a history, he brought you out from somewhere, and a present reality. Both consciousnesses must be active in your life.

If you don't learn this you will always need a pastor to help you with something

The Exodus as a metaphor of salvation

New Testament preachers used only the Old Testament as their Bible. One of the things they used to teach salvation was the Exodus, a prophetic metaphor of what was going to happen in Christ

In Egypt God told them this is your last night, the Egyptians you see today you shall see no more.

They ate the Passover: slaughter a lamb, put the blood on the lintel, eat inside Exodus 12

The blood was a prophetic metaphor of the blood of Christ. Christ died for our sins. Centuries later he was crucified on the exact day of the Passover.

What the Passover typified was fulfilled in Christ

The next day, the Red Sea. Moses stretched his hand, it parted and they went through. That was a symbol of baptism 1 Corinthians 10:1-2.

Christ died, and because of that you are added to the body of Christ by baptism

Then the wilderness. The New Testament calls the gathering in the wilderness a church Acts 7:38. They had the Exodus experience, they were delivered from Egypt, but were yet to enter the promised land

Peter emphasizes the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of his Son. Paul teaches you to learn from the misdemeanor of the children of Israel, who did not enter into the full provision of God.

Delivered from Egypt but did not enter the promised land

It ought not to be so. That is not God's will. But you can be so conscious of deliverance that you are not conscious of rest.

Not everyone delivered from Egypt entered rest in the promised land Hebrews 4:1

You can come to church, hear the gospel, even believe the gospel, and yet not be experiencing in totality the rest of someone brought into the kingdom of his dear Son.

Some people's lives are no different from the world. If you cast spells at some who come to church, it will work the same way it works on unbelievers.

It ought not to be, but there is something they do not know

Many act like Israel. They think that as long as Moses is a man of God, everything God has for them they will enjoy through Moses, whether they believe or not.

That is not what happened

There is only so much God will do through a prophet. The time will come when he expects you to embrace his ordinance

From Exodus to Sinai God was doing things for them. Then he said stop here at Sinai. Let us enter an agreement. Are you going to follow my word? Not just following the prophets.

These are my ordinances

If you insist on just following a great man of God, looking for the next miracle service, whether or not you have a personal walk with God, you will struggle.

That is not a prophecy of doom

Brought out to be brought in Deuteronomy 6:23

He brought us out that he might bring us in. He brought me out to bring me in

In your Christian journey there must be a completion. You must enjoy what we call the finished work of Christ. If he only brought you out, that is not finished.

He brought you out not just to bring you out but so that he can bring you in

What can make people stuck in the wilderness? The provision of God is already available but it requires faith

God saves for his name's sake. He saves and delivers sovereignly. He brought them out of Egypt to fulfil the promise he swore to their fathers.

But when it comes to you entering the promise, you are going to have to release your faith and embrace the provision he made available for you.

There will always be a part of personal faith involved. That is number one

Number two, even if it is God's provision, he will require that with faith and with warfare you embrace what he has already provided

Israel saw miracles in Egypt, several plagues. They saw the Red Sea parted. In the wilderness they kept murmuring and God still fed them and gave them water.

Then it was time to take over the promised land. They sent in spies Numbers 13

God can provide something for you, but because of unbelief you don't develop the spine, the fortitude to insist on it

Just because God provided it doesn't mean you will take it. You must agree with him in faith

Mark 16:17. Does every Christian speak with tongues? It is promised and it is to be embraced by faith

When you get to the promised land there will be giants, but the land is still yours.

You must have the fortitude that if God has given it to me, it doesn't matter the challenges or difficulties I face. What God has said is mine is mine

A lot of people are surprised when they have spiritual attacks or a bad dream. To cast out devils will take faith on your part.

Just because you are a believer doesn't mean God will do it for you

God gave them the promised land, but they were supposed to make war. It is yours, but you must war

Whatever you are not willing to insist on the word of God for will leave you stuck in the wilderness

He has brought you out, but it is only by faith that you can fully enter in and grab everything that is yours.

Otherwise the devil will be playing games in your life as if you were never saved

One day wake up and say: I'm going to embrace and walk in every single thing God says is mine. What he says I have, I have.

What he says I can do, I can do

Some people like to negotiate. Can everyone speak in tongues? Even if everyone cannot, why do you have to be among the people who can't? That is a scarcity mindset.

It is a terrible mindset that can affect you in life

If only 100 people will be blessed in this country, there are only 99 spots left because one is taken. I'm in

I'm not one of the disciples who will be watching my friend walk on water while I'm in the boat.

John was amazing, so John can write it in his book, and Peter walked on water. Were you not there?

I have determined not to be a spectator in what God is doing in my day Matthew 14:28-29

It is a big indictment on some people. Isaiah stood in front of God in the throne room and God asked who will go Isaiah 6:8.

There are many people but not as many are truly available

• May God not look for people in a city where you are.
• May God not look for men and women, may God not look for soldiers, in a city where you are.

That is an important prayer, because there are many people God wants to give things. He has provided a lot in Christ.

He has finished the work in Christ and all it takes is for you to insist on it and hold on to it

What happened to the children of Israel is happening to many people today Hebrews 4:2

Why is he telling the church what happened to the children of Israel? He is letting you know the same thing can happen to you if you don't have faith.

There are things God already provided that you will not enjoy

Maybe you came in here sick. Mark 16:18

What if I told you that you don't have to leave this place sick? It begins with agreeing with what I just said. Not just agreeing that God can heal me.

You can say: I'm not leaving this place sick

What Christ has done

You need to know what Christ has done regarding salvation, what he has done about sin, what he has done about the devil. What is the provision in Christ? Who are you in Christ?

What rights and privileges will the church enjoy?

Ephesians 3:20-21

We usually read verse 20, but read into verse 21 to see that this promise is to be enjoyed by a particular group of people.

What you read in verse 20, the church is supposed to enforce it

It means we will enforce what he said. We will experience what he said

Many people will look at you and know there is nothing God cannot do

In your life I've seen him heal incurable diseases, I've seen him expel demons, I've seen him make a way where there seemed to be no way

God raised me from here. Maybe God brought me back as a sign that I can lift someone from here and take him to the nooks and crannies of the world.

What is that vision God has given you?

A hall we could not afford, and ran away from when we had the price, is now one out of 100 branches, with three services

If you understand the protocol of miracles, sometimes all God needs to do is show you somebody walking on water to trigger in you a spirit of possibility

What if one of the signs God is here to show you is that he can lift somebody from this neighborhood?

That the fact you are starting here doesn't mean you will end here Job 8:7

There is power at work in me, the power of the Holy Ghost, from the crown of my head to the tip of my toes.

To him be glory in the church. We are going to display his glory in this church.

Everyone observing will know there is nothing God cannot do. It will be visible to the blind and audible to the devil.

The Gentiles will see it and fear and testify that God is with us. It will be like a dream.

In the next 12 months God is going to do a work in your life that will cause the ears of those who hear it to tingle.

Psalm 126:1-2

It is finished

John 19:30

When the devil tries to continue the oppression, remind him it is finished.

When the devil wants to bring the plagues that should only show forth in Egypt into the promised land, remind him it is finished. This should be a mentality, a mindset

Owning a Bible and trusting the word of God are two different things

Contemplate the blood

On their last night in Egypt they put the blood of the lamb on their lintels. Deliverance is a mindset. He wanted them to contemplate it.

He wanted them to sit and fellowship with the consciousness that there is blood on the lintel

God said I'm bringing you out, so do this. They did it as a step of faith. As a believer you must have such contemplation: he died for my sins

You must contemplate the sacrifice, the price he paid. Because of his blood the enemy has lost every legal ground. He took all the accusations the enemy has

Before the blood, the enemy could come and say your grandfather entered an agreement, and every firstborn male in your lineage, this should happen.

But all of those legal grounds, he took and nailed to the cross Colossians 2:14. It is finished

When you have a bad dream, when you wake up, contemplate the blood. It is finished, not to be continued

God did not take on flesh, live here 33 and a half years and die for me, only for the enemy to still be pressing me in the night.

Contemplate the cross, the price he paid for me, sufficient for the blotting of my sins. It is true my father entered a funny agreement, but the price was paid. The blood has been shed

No more veil. No more limitation. I can now see Jesus face to face.

The price has been paid for me and my family. The blood has been shed for me.

Hebrews 10:19-20

There is a revelation you can have. You wake up and say, I'm having my child in the next nine months. I'm getting married in the next 5 months.

When you understand it is finished, no one can stop you. No more limitation

Things you must never doubt

The Holy Ghost told me to make sure I share this word with you. Some of you are going to have to listen to this sermon repeatedly

If you have not come to a point in your Christian walk where there are some things you will never doubt, you have a lot to learn

I have made a vow: I will never see myself as one who is not anointed. You cannot convince me I'm not.

Not first of all because of the signs and wonders I've seen in the past. By revelation first Mark 16:17. I'm anointed

Testimony: pressed in the night

Those days I would be sleeping and something would be pressing me. I couldn't talk, I was trying to shout Jesus.

I kept building my spirit with these same things I'm teaching you, until I was looking forward to the next time

The next time I woke up and felt something pressing me, I was smiling. Everything you are doing I can undo with my words. What I will do, you can't undo

So I waited. I didn't say anything. I didn't struggle trying to shout Jesus like before. As soon as the thing left, I jumped up and began to fire. That was 2010.

This is how you will be telling your own story

Ephesians 1:15-21

Paul is talking to people who already love Jesus, churchgoers. Just because he has brought you out does not mean you are experiencing everything you are supposed to experience as someone who is in.

The audience is important. You have faith in the Lord Jesus, love for the saints, you go to church, you are in a service unit. But he says, I'm praying for you

Verses 20 to 21 also take meditation. A lot of people think Jesus is above but not far above. There must be a comparison: far above. Power far above that thing that sponsors nightmares.

Far above what sponsors sickness. Far above family patterns. Far above generational curses

When you meditate on this, it means there is no mountain I will ever see that is bigger than God inside me. I'm a winner already 1 John 4:4

You can come to a point of revelation and conviction. Nobody needs to lay hands on you, just by declaring what is consistent with what God did in his Christ.

There are some things that cannot remain

I am not ordinary. My hands are not ordinary. They carry healing power, healing virtue.

Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

I am born of God. I have overcome the world. I am unstoppable.

You have to walk in the consciousness. Soak in it. Mark 16:17-18, 1 John 5:4

Contemplate, then take steps of faith

The next thing after you contemplate is to take steps of faith. If you don't learn these two things, contemplating what God has done and taking steps of faith, more prayer won't work for you

It is not more religious activity that does the work. It is the conviction that backs it

We are a praying church and you must continue to pray all the days of your life. But you must take steps of faith

There is one instance in the Bible where people were praying and God said, why are you praying? At the Red Sea, Moses was trying to be a good preacher.

He told them to stand still Exodus 14:13

Moses was wrong. They were not supposed to stand still. They were supposed to go forward. Sometimes it is hard to see the difference

Then Moses was praying and God said why are you praying to me? Put your hand over the sea and divide it. Go forward Exodus 14:15

Some people start on their knees but take no step of faith. God is saying: all this crying, when will you do something?

Stand up and say, enough is enough, this family is moving forward

No more will I be struggling with this demon. No more will I be struggling with this sickness.

I'm teaching you to war. Everyone called sick, you are healed by the healing power of God

Declaration

Today I take my place in Christ. Not as a beggar pleading for victory, but as one already seated with him in heavenly places.

Through the finished work of Jesus Christ, what was lost in Adam has been restored in Christ, the last Adam.

The reign of spiritual death has ended for me. I am no longer subject to darkness. I am a citizen of the kingdom of light.

I have been delivered from the dominion of Satan and translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son.

Satan has no claim over my life, my mind, my body or my destiny. His dominion over me ended at the cross. His authority was broken when Jesus triumphed over principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them.

I am not fighting to obtain victory. I am standing in the victory of Christ. The battle has been decided and the verdict has been written in blood. Satan is defeated. Jesus is Lord and I am free, through the resurrection of Christ.

I have received his very life. The life of God is at work in me. That life is the light of man and darkness cannot overcome it. Every work of Satan belongs in darkness. I walk in the light as he is in the light.

Satan cannot exercise dominion over those who are in light. I have passed from death to life. He has no rightful authority to rule over me, no legitimate accusation with which to condemn me, no power to separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

Every accusation he brings is answered by the blood. Every chain of bondage has been broken through the liberating power of Christ.

I am united with Christ. His victory is my victory, his triumph is my triumph. I am seated with him in heavenly places and I reign in life through him.

I am not at the mercy of the enemy. I am clothed with truth and the truth has made me free. The deception of darkness cannot withstand the light of God's revelation.

I exercise authority over every demonic influence directed against my home, my mind, my body and all that concerns me.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Every tongue that rises in judgment against me I condemn, for my righteousness is of the Lord. I silence the accuser with the truth of God's word.

I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. I stand unafraid, clothed in the armor of light.

The devil is a defeated foe, a dethroned ruler, a fallen prince with no rightful dominion over those who belong to Christ. I am not ignorant of his devices. I refuse to yield to his deception, in the name of Jesus.

Altar call

You have to have been brought out of Egypt and brought into the promise to experience the themes we are speaking of.

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, run to the front

Wherever you are, come quickly Hebrews 3:7-8

Salvation is a deliverance. He has delivered us. Just by coming out some people will be healed. But this altar call is for people who want to accept Christ

I rebuke the spirit of death. Satan, this one belongs to the Lord.

• Lord Jesus, I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that you are the Christ.
• Thank you for washing my sins with your blood.
• From today I am delivered from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the kingdom of light. I will serve you all my life. The devil has no place in me.
• Right now I am filled with your Spirit, from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet.

Romans 10:9-10

You will never be the same again. All your battles are over. It is a new day for you.

The Lord is changing people's ancestry here. You belong to a different family now.

Communion

• I see my place in his work. What he did, he said I did. He died and rose and so did I. I am who he says. I see him seated. My debt is paid.
• This is my Sabbath. This is my rest. By his blood I have forgiveness.

See his body broken for you, broken for your sins. In faith, break the bread

This represents his blood that was shed for you, the precious blood of Jesus

• Thank you, Jesus, for your blood. Thank you for your body, broken for me.
• Thank you for your blood that was shed for me.

The grace that will power the vision he has given you, that thing that makes your heart quake and makes you ask how shall these things be: the Lord is getting ready to mantle you with a new dimension of glory for the assignment given to you. The oil is poured from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet.

Healing and deliverance

Everyone who is sick, see Jesus bearing all your pains. See his power made available to heal and to deliver. You saw the medical report, now see Jesus Philippians 2:10-11

• Every plant my heavenly Father has not planted is rooted out now.
• From the crown of your head to the sole of your feet, everything that represents sickness, pain, infirmity, be healed by the power of God. Let every trace of infirmity be removed.
• Let a creative miracle happen right now. Everything the doctor said could not work is working now. Everything that needs to be repaired is repaired. Everything that needs to be replaced is replaced.
• Every trace of cancer, be healed in the name of Jesus.
• Every foul devil tormenting you and sponsoring negative altars, I command you to be expelled. Let the fire of God come upon every altar. Everything that is not of God, be consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 15:13

Impartation

Breaking every career limitation. Wherever the enemy has put an embargo on progress in life, in your marital destiny, in your finances, in your career, Spirit of God, descend on them now.

That spirit that comes when you are at the verge of your breakthrough and steals what the Lord is trying to do, it is expelled.

Your garment of glory has been restored. Your voice has been restored. That which was covering your glory has been torn into shreds.

Arise, shine, for your light is come. You are unstoppable. Your testimony is here.

Nothing can stop your wedding. Nothing can stop you having children. Nothing can stop your career. Nothing can stop your ministry.

Isaiah 60:1

Call to ministry

Every one of you who has a call to ministry, let an impartation rest on you. Let every dormant gift come alive.

From today flow in a deeper dimension of the supernatural. Teach the word of God with accuracy.

You will walk in supernatural discernment by the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

Totally furnished with wisdom and power to do what he says.

The Lord just healed someone's hearing right now.

Final blessing

By the rod of the apostolic, I call you blessed.

Everything that has hitherto delayed you, you now step into with speed.

According to the word of the Lord, 18 months from now, you will be out of this country.

Everyone who sat on your matter and said they won't let you move forward is judged. The fire of the Lord will thunder on them. You are full of power, full of grace, full of the anointing of the Holy Ghost. You are unstoppable.

I bless this assembly. Multiply. Cover this territory. All your financial partners are blessed. May the Lord open new doors for you.

You deal with importation. The miracle you have been waiting for the past couple of months is coming in the next couple of weeks. The collaboration you have been waiting for is coming now.

There is an anointing to build organizations and to start businesses that will not fail.

There is an anointing for speed and acceleration. That which was slow has become fast. I will do a quick work in righteousness because the enemy hindered you all these many years. The next 12 months will be like 20 years in one, says the Lord.

In your devotion life, receive grace for consistency. May you be quickened to a life of prayer and of waiting on the Lord. You will hear the voice of God clearly and you will never be the same again.

Upward and forward by the anointing of the Holy Ghost.
