Testimonies of Action

There is a principle that knowledge is incomplete until it is acted upon. Talk is cheap — anybody can talk. But when you do something repeatedly, muscle memory develops. You begin to do it without thinking. You have entered mastery.

A young woman at a business conference heard a nudge to pitch her idea despite not being selected. She joined the queue anyway, articulated her pitch on the spot, and walked away with a grant. That is what taking action looks like.

Another member walked into a car lot and boldly declared he could sell every car there. He had never done it before. But that action opened doors — they gave him their cards, they wanted to be in touch. Actions design your future.

Make a choice. Stand by it and move. Do something.

People cannot think anything about you apart from what your actions make them think. So how you are perceived matters, and perception is shaped by what you do.

Action as the Response to Faith

This teaching is, at its core, a teaching for miracle service. Actions here are in response to faith. Faith sees — not blindly, but in the realm of the spirit. When we say we walk by faith and not by sight, we are not saying faith is blind. We are saying we walk by seeing in the realm of the spirit rather than the realm of the natural. Faith is another level of sight. You are sure it is going to happen, so you act accordingly.

Prophecy releases power. Wherever the word of a king is, there is power. So prophecy releases the power. Your heart believes it. Then you start saying what you have believed. After that, you begin to act what you have believed.

Many people have believed — quote unquote — but if it is really belief, why are you not acting? If you believe your season has changed, your limits are broken in your finances, how come you are not pricing the things you want to buy? Because you did not actually believe.

Action is the response to faith. And action is also the highest proof of faith.

The Widow and the Vessels

The prophet told the widow to borrow vessels — and he said, borrow not a few. The woman packed vessels from everywhere. Consider the questions people must have been asking her: why are you taking all our vessels? What do you need them for?

She packed them because she believed. That is the highest proof of belief. Faith without works is dead. Where are the works that show you believe the prophecy?

So it is strange that you did not register for a course. You did not apply for the job, but you are shouting miracle job. The more actions, the more power. The more vessels, the more oil.

2 Kings 4

The same principle appears in John 2:1-8 — fill the water pots. They filled them. Take it up. Serve it. Put it in cups and go serve. A strange instruction, but they acted on it and got results.

In Mark 6:37-44, five thousand were fed. Before the multiplication, the disciples spent thirty minutes to an hour arranging people in fifties and hundreds, preparing them to eat five loaves and two fish. That was a serious demonstration of faith — setting up people for something that had not yet happened.

Actions are the highest demonstration of what you say you believe.

The Blessing of Doing the Word

Luke 11:27-28 contains a statement Jesus made that must never be forgotten. A woman called out, blessed is the womb that bore you. Jesus responded: rather, blessed is the person who hears the word of God and obeys it.

A person who hears the word of God and obeys it is more blessed than Mary herself. To qualify for that blessing is simply to not just listen — but to act on it.

Jesus had a keen interest in those who are doers. Look at his response to Zacchaeus — Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see him, took immediate action, and Jesus said salvation has come to this house. He was moved toward those who acted.

It is very important that something be done. If you need to set an alarm, set one. Be accountable to somebody who can help you take action. Somebody you can report yourself to who will put pressure on you.

The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Builder

Matthew 7 shows us practically what it looks like for a person to take action.

Whoever hears the sayings and does them will be likened to a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain descended, the floods came, the winds blew and beat on that house — and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

Doing the word of God is stability. Doing the word of God is preservation.

If you do not do the word of God, you are a foolish person. Well-dressed fool. Educated fool. It is Jesus who said it — if you hear these words and do not do them, you are a fool.

Change will not come until you agree. When you realize you have been foolish, help has started. When you have reasons and excuses, you will never shift.

Ecclesiastes 11 — Borrow Not a Few

Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 says: send your grain across the seas and in time, profits will flow back. Scatter your seeds everywhere.

If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. You are waiting for the timing to be perfect. You never plant. Plant. Stop watching the clouds — you will never harvest.

High flyers have mastered the speed of acting and execution. While others spend a week deciding, they have tried five ways in twenty-four hours. Even if they made mistakes, they have five attempts to your zero. Fast people eventually become better mentors — they have so much experience.

Somebody can live one year and it feels like ten years, by reason of how intensely they acted.

Kingdom Action

Take action is not just so you can have a house, a car, a comfortable life. The kingdom agenda is what is at stake. It is time to control narratives. Anyone who controls the narrative is a threat to the enemy — they will come after you.

Those in the medical field — take action. There is war on humanity. Be very intentional. Between now and 2030, things will shift. Systems of refuge and preservation must be built in every sphere of influence.

You are supposed to be manning a gate. What gate are you manning? Enter a field now, actively. Even if you cannot enter physically, start reading, start studying, start following and being mentored. Position yourself.

Everybody must take an action that is strategic and will push kingdom agenda forward.

Prayer for Strengthening

One of the reasons many do not take action is that their will has not been strengthened enough. Philippians 2:13 says it is God who works in us both to will and to do. Willingness has been achieved in most people — but it takes another measure of strength to actually do what you are willing to do.

Father, this week, I am strengthened for performance. I am standing for performance. Let every arrow of weariness and every arrow of discouragement fired at the edge of breakthrough be shut down now in Jesus name.

I decree that anyone under the sound of my voice who takes a step this week — let there be violent reactions in your favor. Let your steps be multiplied a thousand times. I declare all calls to persons of authority, all calls for help, will be attended to by favor. Go and take what is yours now. Go and rescue businesses from failing. Go and take over businesses. You will not fail again. Enter into your new season of dominion. Breakthrough on every side.
