God Enlarges You for a Purpose

God is enlarging His people — and there is no glory in being small. You can't help humanity as much. You can't do much for God. You can't even do much for yourself. One of the many things God does is empower you for enlargement.

Psalm 18:19: "He has brought me forth into a large place. He has delivered me because He delighted in me." God is the one who enlarges. He wants to enlarge you. And in case you are not catching it, He goes further and encourages you to expect it.

Deuteronomy 12:20: "When the Lord shall enlarge my borders." He was looking forward to it. Don't relax. If you have not seen it, expect it. And then in Isaiah 54:1–3, God gives it as a law: "Enlarge the place of your tent. Stretch forth the curtains of your habitation. Spare not, lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes."

Deuteronomy 8:18: "You shall remember the Lord your God. It is He that gives you power to get wealth — so that you establish His covenant." When God enlarges you, a lot depends on it. The wealth, the influence, the resources — they are not for private comfort. They are for the advancement of the covenant.

The Direct Link Between Enlargement and Soul Winning

Soul winning is one of the most powerful provokers of enlargement — and one of the primary reasons God enlarges.

Ten years ago, with much fasting, many strategies, months of visitations, street evangelism, and all available methods — the result was 10,000 souls in a year. Today, hundreds of thousands are won in a year. The bigger the vessel, the more impactful. The more God enlarges, the more souls can be reached. The connection is direct: enlargement and soul winning are inseparable.

There are people seated in the congregation whose ambition is to build orphanages, sponsor the poor, fund missionaries — but they cannot do it yet because they are not yet enlarged enough. The limiting factor is not their heart — it is their capacity. And that capacity is enlarged as they are faithful in soul winning.

Why Soul Winning Is a Necessity

1. Because Jesus Commanded It

   Matthew 28:18–20: "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." This is not a suggestion for those who feel called to evangelism. It is a commission issued to every believer by the One who holds all authority. The imperative is go — not wait.

2. Because Every Soul Has Eternal Value

   Matthew 16:26: "What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?" The soul is the most precious thing in creation. No amount of material achievement, ministry accomplishment, or personal advancement compares to the value of one soul brought into eternal life. Soul winning is necessary because the stakes are eternal.

3. Because It Is the Measure of Genuine Love

   John 3:16: God so loved the world that He gave His Son. Love that does not reach is love that has not grown. Those who genuinely love God will love what God loves — the world, the lost, the perishing. If soul winning is absent from your life, your love walk needs examination.

4. Because It Provokes Enlargement

   Proverbs 11:30: "He that wins souls is wise." Daniel 12:3: "They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever." Soul winners are promised a specific, eternal kind of enlargement. The glory of soul winning outlasts everything else.

5. Because the Harvest Is Urgent

   John 4:35: "Lift up your eyes and look on the fields — for they are already white for harvest." There is no off-season for soul winning. The field is always ready. The question is never whether the harvest is available — it is whether there are enough laborers willing to go in.

Soul Winning and Your Enlargement This Year

If God is enlarging you this year — and He is — then soul winning must be the channel through which much of that enlargement flows. Every resource He adds, every door He opens, every influence He gives — it carries kingdom purpose. It is empowerment for the harvest.

Your enlargement is not just for you. It is for the many who will encounter God through you. Begin to win souls — and watch how the enlargement accelerates.
