Redeemed for the Top
Philippians 2:5-9 — Christ was obedient unto death, even the death of the cross, and it was on that basis that God highly exalted Him. Obedience is the elevator that gets you where redemption has already placed you. Matthew 5:14 — you are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. By redemption, believers are ordained for the top — not the bottom, however long the struggle there has lasted.
1 Corinthians 2:9 — eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, what God has prepared for those who love Him. Love for God is your access to things happening on their own accord in your life — breakthroughs that don't require constant manual effort because love has already opened the door. Truth itself is timeless — no human civilization, no modern trend, can render scripture obsolete. We can grow in our understanding of truth, but the truth itself never needs upgrading.
Passion Is Burning Love, and It Moves People
Jeremiah described the word of the Lord as "shut up in my bones," a fire he could not contain. Passion is not a mild interest — it is a burning love that refuses to stay quiet. Haggai 1 — the people said the time had not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord, and their own houses prospered no better while the Lord's house lay in ruins. Once Zerubbabel and Joshua the high priest took courage and began the work, God said the glory of that latter house would exceed the former. Commitment to kingdom advancement supernaturally advances the person who makes it — not as a side effect, but as a direct principle.
Matthew 6:32-33 — seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything the world spends its energy chasing is added as a byproduct. That's the shift from a realm of struggle to a realm of addition.
Passion Secures His Attention
Zacchaeus, a tax collector, climbed a tree simply to see Jesus — and Jesus stopped, looked up, and invited Himself to his house that same day. The woman with the issue of blood pressed through a crowd to touch the hem of His garment, and the flow of blood stopped instantly. Passion is what moves you into motion, and motion is what puts you in the path of divine intervention. Noah moved before it ever rained, simply because he'd been warned of what was coming — and that movement, not merely his belief, is what scripture highlights.
An Invitation and a Blessing
For anyone not yet born again, the invitation stands: give your life to Christ, receive forgiveness, and become part of His family — the point where struggles lose their permanent grip and all things begin working together for good. As communion is shared, whatever is called for — healing, deliverance, reversal of curses, freedom from confusion or stagnation — is available at that table, according to the same order through which Christ Himself lived free of sickness, suffering, and defeat.
