• Thank you for your mercies every morning. It is because of that mercy that we are not consumed

• Thank you for all the testifiers and all who will be testifying in the coming weeks and months
• Thank you for not leaving us alone. Thank you for choosing us as a church and as individuals
• Thank you for this nation Nigeria. It is yours and the fullness thereof. You are in control and you are causing things to turn around for our good
• Thank you for all the nations connected to this work, this grace, this oil, this mantle, this commission. You will continue to be faithful to us

Open eyes

If there is any time you have ever needed your eyes to be open, it is now

If you can see this as clearly as it will be presented, there is no way your life can remain the same

It is one of the very vital secrets of my life and of the life of every great Christian that has ever walked this earth, from Bible days till today

It is not the number of sermons you have listened to. It is how many of those sermons you actually saw

Habakkuk 2:1

That is the summary of what we are about to go into: what was written, what was spoken, needs to be seen

• Father, in the name of Jesus, I see clearly
• I hear it clearly. I become what I am hearing
• Daddy, open my eyes

If the last 10 years were a dream

Suppose you slept last night and woke up realizing the last 10 years of your life was a dream. How old would you be? What were the circumstances around that age?

What grounds did you lose in the last 10 years? What mistakes did you make? Who did you meet that you should not have met? Where did you go that you should not have gone?

What did you start that you are trying to stop?

Now your eyes are open, but it is too late. When your eyes open is important. You can't go back 10, 9, 8 years

Most people's eyes eventually open. You get pregnant, go to the hospital and give birth at 18, and your eyes open. You realize five women in your family have the same trend

You even enter deliverance ministry and start setting other ladies free. Your eyes have opened, but too late

You can bring good out of it. The problem is the number of scars the blindness cost

Whatever you think you have wasted, it can be more. Whatever resources you think you have lost, it can be more

If Satan stops where he has reached in our lives he has not gained much. The fact that you are in this church means you are about to recover lost ground

His plan was that you lose much more, and it might even end up destroying an individual

Fast forward 10 years. There are many things you will wish you knew today. Pray that what you would only know in February 2035 you know now

Sense early, not late

I have never been a fan of having sense late. I don't celebrate anyone who has sense late

Everyone I follow in honor and respect is someone who got sense early. I am not challenged by the life of somebody who got sense in their 40s and 50s

In the scriptures very many times you find people having sense as early as 7, 8, 12, 17

It is abnormal to be in your 20s and 30s and not seeing what you should have been seeing since you were a teenager

Some have lost 5 years, some 10, some all their years. It is not time to blame your daddy or your mommy. It is time to declare, going forward, no more blindness

• Father, open the eyes of my brother, my sister. Open them now

I declare over any life here, any warfare against your sight is shut down now. Not just today but for the rest of your life, you will see early, you will know early, you will understand early

The Lord satisfy you with sight. Everything you need to know about your life and destiny, understand it now. You will not walk in darkness. I refuse you to walk in darkness

Mercy is when your eyes open

I can't even imagine how my life would be if not for all the encounters with truth. In 2012 the encounter with Hebrews 11:6

For 12 years that single light has ensured consistent encounters in my life

I keep preaching it because even those who have heard me preach it are not actively following it, and you wonder why your life is still on the same spot

Don't listen carelessly, don't listen anyhow. There is no need for someone's life to be wasted when all you needed was given to you. Listen with all your heart

Why meditation, and why now

When Joshua was before the wall of Jericho he made a statement on day seven Joshua 6

Was the wall down or up? It is relative, depending on which side you are seeing from. Physically the wall was up. But as far as Joshua was concerned, "I cannot even see a wall again"

What was the secret? Meditation. Seven days, a whole nation

Meditation is not a subject discussed only in Christian circles. Maybe that is why Christians don't pay much attention to it in depth. We talk about meditation, we don't necessarily practice it, even as churches

From this series we are going to begin to practice some things as a church, forever. I have been seeing it for the past two years: meditation meetings

It is a missing link for many people's transformation

The same way we say pray and people are not able to pray until we gather them and make them pray

We say fast and people are not able to fast until we gather them for a retreat. We will not leave meditation on instruction level. There will be times we gather and lead meditation sessions

We used to do it in 2016. We meditated literally like children, sitting on the chairs

Many things we saw in 2012 and 2013 have come to pass in the nation. One is many people hungry for God

Go back 10, 12 years and see that this was not the order of the day

I am not saying we single-handedly brought it to pass. What God was saying to us he was saying to some others as well

The things we are painting in our hearts now that are not yet the order of the day will soon be the order of the day

What is meditation

1. Pondering, thinking, dwelling upon a matter, focusing your thoughts on a subject
2. Deep contemplation, a turning over and around in the mind, a brooding over, to the end that you gain greater understanding and be changed by God's truth
3. To set your mind on a subject. Anything you do that sets your mind on a matter and helps you focus on it is helping meditation

There are many dimensions to meditation. We will go into them later. Today I just want to whet your appetite

Meditation is ours

People of the world want to take it from us. This is our thing, and we have a tendency as believers, once they start doing it, to avoid it

I bought a colorful phone pouch and used it until I went to a retreat in the UK

One of our coordinators said, "Pastor Lawrence, you cannot use this pouch here." Rainbow colors are now associated with LGBTQ

Who owns the rainbow? God gave it as a sign of a covenant with the earth Genesis 9:13

He did not say he will no longer wipe out the earth. He said he will not use flood, because fire is still coming

They have walked into our territory, picked one of our very important symbols and owned it, and we leave it for them. The same thing has happened with meditation

An 8 or 9 year old boy asked me, "Pastor Lawrence, is it like yoga? Everything you are saying sounds like yoga." I said no, my dear

Yoga is demonic and you open yourself up to things you don't wish for

Religions like Buddhists give themselves to meditation and enter into things. A sword can pass through their body and no harm, because there is so much power in it

I am going to teach you as it is in the scriptures. What we are capable of doing with it is about to play out in our lives because we practice it as a church

Meditation and prayer

Ephesians 3:20

You can switch the word ask there and put the word pray

Your prayer journey is not complete without a thinking journey. Thinking has always been part of praying. Praying without thinking is like driving without a steering wheel

1 Corinthians 14:14

One of the reasons for this, which we will discuss later, is that your heart channels the power of God. You channel power through desire, through your mind

Meditation is for us. When you hear something that sounds like it in a movie, understand it is for us. The new age has taken advantage of these principles and gets certain classes of results

How much more those who have the Holy Ghost in them

We are limitless if we can just understand these simple things that these men understood, who wrote massive wonders in the Old Testament and the New

Joshua 10:12 to Joshua 10:13

How can a man look at the sun and say stand still? Only a madman does that. Examine whatever he knew, or was told, that made him so potent

If you know it, you will start seeing his results

Prayer must go with thinking. The same way we value prayer, we must begin to value thinking

Everybody is already meditating

There is no "teach me three steps to meditating." You have been meditating on your life. At a basic level it is thinking

If you know how to worry, you know how to meditate. Some of us inherited it from our parents

You left the house 5 minutes ago. "Have you arrived?" Maybe something has happened, hope the car is in good condition

"Mommy, I'm still in the estate." 10 minutes later, "Have you arrived?" She is worrying, which means she is meditating

Meditation is already a part of our lives. All we are saying is to use that talent you already have, focus it, and get powerful results from it

Psalm 1:2

1 Thessalonians 5:17

You might wonder how you can successfully pray without stopping. Prayer involves asking and thinking. You can think without ceasing, so even when you are not talking you are thinking

Psalm 2:1

The word meditate in Psalm 1:2 is the same root word as the word imagine in Psalm 2:1. Meditation and imagination are the same thing

Imagination

I will tell an interesting story. There was a man who used to imagine a force field of power around him

I won't be surprised if this is part of the secret of people like Maria Woodworth-Etter, D.L. Moody and Kathryn Kuhlman, who had a tangible force field

Once they entered a place people started crying and manifesting

As Kathryn Kuhlman passed through the kitchen of the building, the power of God was knocking people out. She was not shouting fire

It is part of what intimacy and fellowship with the Holy Ghost will do for you. As you fellowship you are basically meditating, your mind is on that thing

I listened to this about 7 or 8 years ago. A man wanted to meditate on the river in the temple Ezekiel 47:3 to Ezekiel 47:5

He went to a pool and stood where the water was ankle-deep and said, "I am in the river of God. I feel the power of God." His body registered the experience, which makes meditation faster

At night he lay on his bed and released the experience again: the river is now to my knees, now to my waist. He began to experience the power of God on another level

Some of these men are called mystics, with weird, strange experiences. Those are the materials I used to consume before God said I should be a pastor

Imagination: thinking, imagining, seeing, being what God has shown you, being your reality in your mind. It is not fantasy. Fantasy is just enjoying yourself. This time you use your talent with the scripture

When we were younger Daddy promised us that at age 7 we would travel out. By May and June, with summer travel in August, the excitement was bubbling up

That is what I now know as meditation

We carried a drum with a steel base and used it as the steering wheel of an aeroplane, set it on the balcony railings, sat on a chair and covered ourselves with a wrapper

"We are about to take off. 3, 2, 1, go." The clouds are very white, touch it

"Let's stop and buy bread in Brazil." Then take off again. Sometimes we slept off and woke up in flight, until we finally arrived. Our joy was full inside the wrapper in the balcony

Was the experience real? We were not physically in the plane. Yet there was no difference in the joy. I dare say the joy was even more in the balcony than when it actually happened

This foundation is critical

Seeds planted by blindness

Every attack launched on your life since the day you were born was to initiate meditation. You have been meditating all your life

That is why it is such a struggle now to believe you can succeed. You have meditated on failure all your life

That is why you are afraid your marriage will not work when you have not even married yet

Everything you experienced from the day you were born initiated thoughts, and thoughts. Already set in motion for disaster

All those seeds will be destroyed today and new seeds of possibilities will be planted. Anything God did not plant in your heart, I decree that in the next two, three weeks we will ensure it is uprooted

Deliverance and meditation

Any deliverance that does not reach your soul has not helped you. I move in deliverance until a person's soul has come out

It doesn't take minutes to cast out demons, sometimes 50 of them, 100 of them. My only concern is that all these have been set free and I hope they stay free

All it takes for some people to go back to their vomit is a simple dream

The devil tells them, "You think you are out? Come back here." They wake up, "I thought I was free," and immediately they are back in the cage

That is why meditation is how you will truly be free. Some didn't go through vomiting, lizards, frogs, falling down or screaming. They just meditated their way out of nonsense

Proverbs 23:7

John 8:32

This is how true freedom happens: revelation. Meditation is one of your routes to revelation, a major route, the ordained route. Your revelation will be true and stable

You are not functioning by sight, "I saw this so I believe." You know. Meditation is how you will know things

As a child I would sit down and start thinking thoughts of rejection. Nobody rejected us and my parents were doing fine. But I would look for the most minute detail

They shouted at me to take my tea cup. Why did she look at me like that? My tea was not as much as my brother's. Maybe they picked me from somewhere

I would exaggerate and journey with it until tears were flowing. "They don't love me," with zero proof in the natural. I was already experiencing depression

Was the experience real? A person can sit down and be consumed

I have a producer kind of mind, so I watch behind the scenes. Some actors don't look like they are acting. I learned how far they go to establish a person in a character

They are given a month to date each other as the characters. That is why many of them end up dating

It is so real you can't come out. It is not a cloth you wear and remove. The man who played the Joker did not recover from the role

He locked himself in a room and entered into the character

Some, a demon will possess them in the process. Some don't recover. It is meditation. They have nightmares because of how much they engage the character. The script was downloaded from hell, demonic inspiration

Then you can't come out of the character and you find yourself doing the thing again with your family

I meditated on Lion King until we were jumping from chair to chair. One day my mother came downstairs, saw it and whispered to her husband. We never saw Lion King again, not under our watch

If you see any kind of meditation going on in children, take note and shut it down immediately

Your child's favorite character is in a movie and he is acting it, "Daddy, buy me a gun." Everywhere he is meditating on it

People who broke into light on subjects just stayed on them one day, two days, three days until they hit it

Meditation is not just staying on something to understand it. Meditation is engaging something to become it

There is meditation for revelation, and revelation results in transformation. There is meditation to become. Some of these we have practiced over the years without understanding why, and we have seen drastic results

Do not limit God

Psalm 78:41

God, as we saw in Ephesians 3:20, is limitless

He said he is able to do. He didn't say he is going to do. There is a caveat there: according to the power that works in you

Anything you have not seen inside you, you will not see outside. Any place you have not entered inside, you will never enter outside

Any possibility you have not captured in your heart, you will never capture with your hands

Many are discouraged after one week of capturing an image because it didn't come to pass. Stop it

In your natural life you are patient. When you take medication you wait

You don't go back to the pharmacy 5 minutes later and say, "I'm still feeling the pain." Doctors say if symptoms persist for 3 days, consult again

You still wait it out, and sometimes symptoms get worse once you start

In spiritual matters we are very impatient. This is not one of those subjects. You have been meditating on the wrong things for 15, 20 years

How can you not wait on the word of God for one month?

That is a major problem in Christianity today. Once we try something and it doesn't work we move on to the next principle

"I've prayed, I've fasted, I've meditated, I've sown seed, I've confessed." You did each for one problem, briefly

Get ready to give attention to this 1 Timothy 4:15

If you do it the way it was prescribed you will get the results that was promised

Joshua 1:8

It means it is in your every thought, every day, every time

From today you will not limit God, in Jesus' name. I refuse you to be a shadow of what was prophesied

The pictures in your mind

The pictures in your mind can be so big that somebody prophesying to you is not even edifying you

At one of our conventions a man of God came to minister. I was in the choir crying

He called me out and said, "I see you releasing an album and the album will be sold in the UK"

The more he said it, the more I cried, thinking it was the weight of the prophecy. Wondering, is that my destiny, an album in the UK? It was breaking my heart

In my own meditation I had already gone far beyond that. My meditation had already fulfilled that destiny, we had traveled abroad and sold the album in the UK. So it was now graphic

I don't even need to go to the UK. Give someone traveling abroad my CD to sell. You fulfill your destiny

If God had not intervened quickly I would be pursuing what was behind me. It was mercy that my eyes were not seeing that small. May the Lord enlarge your heart

What is so special about the UK that once you get there you have fulfilled destiny? If you reach Ghana have you not fulfilled destiny? That is the colonial thing that is still worrying us

At a point I wondered if God could do the things that entered my heart Jeremiah 32:27

I saw everything was limited to my thinking. Why are you thinking small?

I was in 100 level at UI. I was sad from morning till evening over that prophecy. I was sitting at the bookshop and poured out my heart to someone: "Is this me? Is this it?"

He said, "How can you think God will show him more than 1% of your life? How do you think God will trust him with more than 0.001%?"

Everything ever prophesied to you is a minute fraction. Since that time nobody has prophesied anything that shocked me. Every prophet is behind

I have meditated things I cannot say on this mic, ridiculous possibilities. Daddy G said probably in the 1990s, "A day will come when we will have a pastors' meeting on the moon"

As you meditate and you are charging, the entire world will be moving in the direction of the things you have seen. I am already afraid for Satan

If three people catch what I am saying here, you will know. As you are thinking you will be praying. It goes together

Meditation moves things

You can move an institution in your direction. "I will graduate in 5 years and I don't care what strike has to say." The school may go on strike for 3 years, no problem

My 5 years, nothing will shift it. The entire school will be going that direction

Meditation makes you a superior human being. It is one of your major steps in demonstrating your God life. You will dominate nature

A man of God called one of his sons, stood on a balcony in church and stretched forth his hands: "Everybody within this radius, sell." They came one by one to sell their property

There is a backend. You meditate until there is zero doubt, then you come out and do things

How many want a job by next week? You have already seen the job. You have collected the testimony already. It is in the past

There is no shock, it isn't breaking news for the one who meditates

Feedback from decrees

Some of the territorial things I share with tangible feedback were meditation. We were meditatively praying and decreeing throughout our journey

You have heard me say, "be intentional," "see what you are saying," "close your eyes, imagine, see it." It is important in prayer because as you see it you are channeling power, like a laser, for that activity

Praying in the Holy Ghost, we felt we should release judgment on the different hostels. Every principality preventing the advancement of the kingdom, fire. Any activity of witchcraft, fire

Ted Hall was known for stiffness against the gospel. In other hostels you could stand behind the block and preach, but not there

When you notice a prevailing activity in a place there is a spirit powering it. Many people drunk in a place, it is a spirit of drunkenness

Everybody afraid in a place compared to other places, something is sponsoring it

We shouted fire. Within 3 to 5 minutes we saw smoke rising. We later found out the hall caught fire

When there is judgment on a wicked principality there is usually a physical feedback we can explain, something that can be on the news

One of those days, I think January 2019, not 2018, we released judgment over the works of wickedness and I began to check online, like Elijah checking 1 Kings 18:43 to 1 Kings 18:44

You can't check if you are not expecting. You can't expect if you are not thinking right. Thinking is part of the process. That is why you can't do Christian life without meditation

It is inside everything, we are just not calling it meditation. When Elijah said, "Go and check," it means he was seeing something

I picked up my phone the next morning to see if there was feedback

A man who had killed about 70 people on New Year's Day, spraying them with bullets as they came back from Watch Night service, had been killed overnight, him and his assistant. I said, glory

We declared over this entire Abuja that nobody is permitted to die. Two instances followed. A man had an accident, fell and died, his head even opened up

They took him to the mortuary and he got up. The way the Holy Ghost works, somehow the news gets to you so you know what you are doing is working

The second, two people died in front of a market. They were taken to the mortuary and both came back to life. Nobody laid hands on them

That was when we began to practice that this thing we call the life of God can cover a radius. If you master it you can preserve your family

You can decide, in this street, nothing like this

Covering ground

Your heart will be hovering around anybody you think about for good. Many times they will see you in their dreams. Through meditation we are also able to cover ground

You can be in places you are not in the physical

What do you think Paul was saying when he told them he would be with them when they gathered? That is how they used to travel. They meditated and stayed on it until they were there

Whatever we cannot explain I will not start. Everything I am telling you we have seen through our experiences and through scriptures. There is a way to have encounters

In 300 level I was praying and felt there must be somebody who had flown to a witchcraft meeting that night and needed to get back, in a hall of 500 people

I said, "Right now I cover the entire hostel." Practice it. Nothing will happen, you are covered

The moment you picture it, it is done. I covered the whole hostel: "Right now, anybody who is being disturbed, I stop it." I was seeing it happen

Practicing this over the years, you get stronger and stronger in it. You tune into the spirit and start seeing the spirit result

The only challenge was one who had not slept off paid me a quick visit. A lady who had died stood at me, her eyes went white and she blinked twice

I jacked back up out of the experience and fell on the couch. All that was important to me at that time was that it worked

In the one month I was asking God for sounds, I spoke in tongues from 12 midnight to 12 midnight. I wanted to see what would happen if I charged for 24 hours

Then I said, "I cover Abuja right now in the spirit. I hover around the entire territory. Anyone who is being oppressed right now, I stop it, I shut it down." I slept off in the natural

In the encounter the light was on and I was lying down. A person in a red and yellow gown opened the door and was looking at me

I was trying to call the name of the one who rose from the dead, Jesus, Jesus. I woke up

What I did worked. It was stamping consciousness on me. What was left was to meditate into preservation. Anybody here can do it

You are seated

I am in the name of Jesus. You killed Jesus to kill me, and you feel the power rushing through your body

I am in the name. Christ around me, Christ on me, Christ inside me

You walk into hell, pick up somebody and walk out laughing. It is not a fair fight. The only thing that makes it look as if we are on the same fighting ground is ignorance

You are a god, that is what you are called by Jesus John 10:34 Psalm 82:6

It is not just God that is insulted when you say you are fighting Satan. Even you yourself are too high where you are. He can't reach you

Ephesians 2:6

Imagine yourself seated on a throne of power. They can't reach where you are

You may have dreams where you are running with the throne. Meditate on it. You and the throne you are running with does not make sense. It is a film trick they play for you

Film trick is not real. All those nightmares are film tricks, Hollywood, Bollywood, Chinawood. You know it is not real

Charge

Those who have been battling thoughts of death, consistently telling you that you will die, shout it: "I am in the name," and start to pray in the Holy Ghost

Those trusting God for special surprises, trusting God for certain things to happen, say it: "I have broken through," and start seeing yourself in that reality

Whatever it is, make sure you shout it and blast in the Holy Ghost
