Jesus sometimes said verily verily, other times hearken unto me. He demanded attention because of the preciousness of what he wanted to say

You can be a Martha or a Mary. Martha was worried about many things, Mary sat at the Master's feet and chose the one thing needful Luke 10:38-42

Learn to sit at his feet and give your destiny dedicated focus when it has to do with the ministry of the word

Knowing God accurately

This is the biblical roadmap to knowing God, attaining stature, power and grace in the spirit

God designed himself to be known in a certain way. We must know how he prescribed that he be explored

So that we are not in confusion, learning God in wrong ways and arriving at erroneous conclusions about him that are to the detriment of our Christian experience

Grace is multiplied through knowledge

To reign in life you must be a graceful recipient of the gift of righteousness and of abundance of grace Romans 5:17

The gift of righteousness only comes through Jesus Christ, believing in his substitutionary sacrifice

For dominion on the earth you do not just need grace, you need abundance of grace

2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace are multiplied through knowledge

There is a connection between abundance of grace and abundance of knowledge. Not many good things, but the knowledge of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There are many kinds of knowledge that are not a waste, but for accessing grace as designed in this Kingdom, it is this knowledge

The more you know God and his son Jesus Christ, the more you experience access to grace

The activation of the full potential of Zoe life depends on knowledge of the true God and Jesus whom he sent John 17:3

No matter how well intentioned you are, if you decide to dwell in ignorance there is no hope of walking in the reality of the life of God

The disciples did not know him

Matthew 16:13-17

Jesus often probed the disciples with questions, left them to argue among themselves, then clarified

He asked who men say the Son of man is. He had already called himself Son of man, so he was looking for something else

What is society's conclusion about my person when they see me work miracles, multiply bread and teach doctrine with power

Some said John the Baptist (he had been beheaded), Elijah, Jeremiah, one of the prophets. They had been taught that men can come in the spirit and power of certain mantles

Then he asked, but whom say ye that I am? What has your intimacy with me done to redefine my person to you?

Those afar speak from the lens of ignorance and distance. You have been mentored directly

The disciples enjoyed access and intimacy, yet they did not know him. Their experience was the same as those afar

Only Peter, speaking by the spirit, said I know. He said Thou art Christ, the Son of the Living God. He never called him Jesus. This revelation does not reside in flesh and blood

In the believer's journey to stature and to living out your prophetic destiny, on the subject of knowledge you must be guided

John 16:12-13 Jesus had many things to tell them but they could not bear them yet. The spiritual equipping was not yet there.

Without the Holy Spirit he could not go further. Regeneration and the infilling of the spirit had to happen first

What Paul brought in his epistles, the dynamics of redemption and the victorious life, they could not have understood then.

God raised Paul to continue those things. Even Peter acknowledged that Paul's teachings were hard 2 Peter 3:16

6 dimensions of knowledge the believer must pursue

There are 2 levels of knowledge, foundational and supportive. Supportive knowledge comes as an added advantage when the foundation is there, to sponsor your stability. Without foundational knowledge your Christian experience will be lopsided

I am not talking of foundational doctrine like Hebrews 6:1-2. When a saved believer wants to contend for spiritual knowledge, you first restrict their pursuit to these six

1. Know God and Jesus his son

   This is the correct protocol for approaching spiritual knowledge Proverbs 9:10

   At the point where you begin to pursue the knowledge of God you are truly having spiritual understanding

   There is an advantage to knowing God Daniel 11:32

   Not the knowledge of it, the knowledge of him Ephesians 1:15-19

2. Know yourself in light of who Christ is

   Psalm 49:20, 1 Peter 2:9

   Ephesians 2:1-6 Every time you discuss man in light of what Christ has done, only two things are the basis: our oneness with Christ, and our positional advantage

   1 Corinthians 6:17 Oneness with Christ: the believer is one spirit with him

   The word together with Christ is a profound prophetic description of the believer's position

3. Know your place in destiny and in God's prophetic program

   Your relevance is in your ability to keep and maintain your position. The provisions accorded your life are with respect to knowing your place

   Jesus in the synagogue read the messianic prophecy about himself and said today is this scripture fulfilled Luke 4:16-21, Hebrews 10:7

4. Understand the mysteries and principles of the Kingdom

   Job 38:33-35, Psalm 82:5, Matthew 13:11

   The kingdom operates by models, patterns and principles. For the glory of God to be revealed you must know the ways of God

5. Understand man as the highest of God's creation, and the cosmos

   It is not enough to understand the principles of the Kingdom Psalm 8:1-6

   Psalm 115:16 To sail in the cosmos you need to understand the world of men

   Jesus related the kingdom to the cosmos and contrasted them Matthew 10:16

   Sheep in the midst of wolves need two dimensions of wisdom: wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove

   A serpent is associated with evil all through scripture. Yet Jesus says borrow its wisdom with the character of the dove

   You will have to go to Egypt to learn the wisdom of the serpent

6. Know your adversary the devil

   The devil is not your friend or confidant. He is the thief John 10:10, a murderer, an accuser of the brethren

   Resist him steadfast in the faith. It is within your power 1 Peter 5:8-9

   If you do not understand Satan and the dark world you will be incapacitated in ways you cannot imagine

   A course on plane crashes is part of training. They simulate many kinds of crashes and teach you to circumvent them, and that is why you are a professional pilot.

   The goal is not for you to die in a crash

   Many believers, in an attempt to remain positive, have ignored the reality of the dark world. Jesus revealed many aspects of Satan. Paul structured the satanic kingdom: do not be ignorant of his devices 2 Corinthians 2:11

Show me a believer who invests a major portion of his walk exploring these dimensions and I show you one for whom it is impossible to be weak

Strength in the Kingdom is a cumulative of the light that has come from these dimensions of knowledge

4 channels to knowing God

1. Scripture

   Our first port of call John 1:1-3

   Scripture reveals the character of God and the methodologies of God

2. A careful study of his names

   Exodus 3:13-15, Exodus 6:1-3

   The names of God capture dimensions of his power and might. They were experiences and manifestations of his power, wisdom and grace

   Every time they saw God move in a dimension foreign to them they trapped it in a name and built a memorial around it. That is how we have Jehovah Jireh

3. Jesus Christ

   Among the reasons Jesus came was as a correction to our understanding about God. Until he came no one could know God accurately

   They depended on the perception of whichever prophet was in charge. A personal experience with God was not a widespread privilege, only for a few by election of grace or covenant.

   The prophets did their best but made mistakes. They credited to God many things he had no hand in.

   Anything beyond science they largely credited to God, and some delved into divination

   So we judge everything said about God by the lens of Jesus the incarnate. Whatever stands in contrast to what Jesus manifested needs correcting

   This is why the scribes and Pharisees got angry when he called himself God John 8:58

   John 1:1-14, Hebrews 1:1-3 He is the express image of the father. If you had never seen the father, look at Jesus

   The father publicly commended him and mandated creation to hear him Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5. We learn God as we study Jesus

4. Experience

   Job 42:5, 1 John 1:1-5

   John and the apostles were eyewitnesses and direct products of Jesus' mentorship. They were not teaching cunningly devised fables 2 Peter 1:16. You can know God through experience

The unknown God

Acts 17:16-24

Paul's spirit was stirred when he saw Athens wholly given to idolatry. He disputed daily in the synagogue and in the market

These were zealous, committed people, yet they built an altar to the unknown God. We don't know you, but we will keep worshiping you. What a tragedy

How do you know he has answered you? How do you know you are not in error? Who corrects you, and by what standard?

Many have died to an unknown God. Many have argued about, preached about, evangelized, sown seed and given to an unknown God.

Songs, books and church service dedicated to an unknown God. This is said from love

Africa is one of the most religious continents. Widespread fasting, honor to spiritual authorities. Across the globe there are priests, sacrifices, consecrations, abstinence, devotion. The question is, which God?

We preach series on God and lead converts in a prayer to Lord Jesus, and often the preacher and the new convert are not aware who they are talking to

This is why convictions vacillate. Today I know God will heal me, then the conviction dwindles because we are not sure

Many are angry with God. They were taught to believe in an unknown God, what they believed he would do was not done, and now they say God has failed me

Some send me messages saying, Apostle, since God has not heard me, tell him my prayer request. At least they admit their ignorance. You who claim to know him, please help me

If you do not know God in truth, your Christian experience will be full of assumption and gaps.

You will keep being promoted ministerially until the day you hit a wall and those following you ask, which God exactly are we worshiping?

There are about 4,000 religions and growing, many becoming similar as pseudo expressions of one another. How do I know the God I serve is the God of the Bible?

One says God wants your money, another says God does not need your money. One says fast and pray, another says God is not interested.

Believers are confused, and for many he remains an unknown God

Moses asked who shall I say sent me. He was trained in Egypt, a land of many gods, and asked before he disgraced himself. God said I am that I am Exodus 3:13-15

Every generation that shook its world had an impact directly connected to genuine encounters with God

We can know about God, but that is not the knowledge of God

If someone texts you that I am preaching in another country when I am here every Sunday, it will not even be a prayer point, because you know me

When you know God the prophetic will not threaten you, because you judge it through your knowledge of God. Fear dies

If you do not understand him he looks like a killer, and elsewhere indefinitely merciful. The Bible captures him as a lion and a lamb, a warrior and a merciful God.

He took from some, gave to others. Which God should I serve?

Describe this God you have served for 20 years. He is creator of heaven and earth, he is mighty. That is not what I am asking, who is he?

How do you represent a god you do not know? You call yourself light, salt, an ambassador, sent to your family like Moses to Egypt.

You stand before the altars that have plagued your family. The herbalist knows who he is serving

The prophets of Baal knew Baal so well that they were surprised when he disappointed them, and they lacerated themselves. Elijah said call louder 1 Kings 18

Elijah set up 12 stones, poured water, again seven times. He did not pray twice. Fire came and licked up the water

Goliath mocked David. David said I did not come with a sword, I came in a name. I know what that God can do 1 Samuel 17

Those who know God shall be strong, and can see death in the face and say I know who sent me

Our stability in the days coming will not be based on your connection to a man of God.

It will be based on your connection to the God you know. The God you know is the God you will serve your generation with

We have made bold statements that God will not fail, and yet we are failing. People say I listened to you for 12 years, where is this God?

You can know God accurately

God is infinite

Isaiah 40:28 Three names at once. There is no searching of his understanding

From the start know that the best of your exploration will not do justice to who he is.

You will only know a small portion relative to his vastness. You will never arrive. That does not mean do not start

Beyond creator and creature, there are 3 attributes of God not shared with man: omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient. Our partaking of his divine nature is not absolute 2 Peter 1:4

Omnipresent is everywhere at the same time. No man in recorded history has been given this Psalm 139:7-8. God does not have to move to see

Omnipotent is all-powerful. Man's dominion, authority and power are derived, always in partnership with the Holy Spirit and principles. In isolation we have no power

Pray for 100 sick people and even if 80 percent are healed there may be one who is not. No man has attained accuracy in dispensing power

There is a dimension of power reserved for an age not our own, the power of the age to come.

Through diligence and alignment men can taste it within this age Hebrews 6:5. Those dimensions will sponsor the end time revival

Omniscient. We know in part and prophesy in part 1 Corinthians 13:9. The best of our revelatory grace is still a part

Illustration: to interpret a crowd I can only work from what my eye has seen. You do not have eyes all over you, to remind you that you are finite.

Even if you had, you would still be limited

You do not need to mentor God. There is no book in heaven where he reads to get more knowledge. Jesus received knowledge in a lecture room only when he became a pattern man

God's knowledge is not progressive, it is absolute. In his light we see light

Past, present and future are only framed to help you relate with God. God does not even dwell in eternity, because eternity is a summation of time without end.

His realm is now. All things are present before him

Technology gives you rewind and fast forward for a movie, not for your life. Only the God of heaven can reach back into time

Knowing God is an eternal pursuit. Even in heaven there will be lectures through all the ages. We will have perfect knowledge of all things God created, but never of his person

My own journey

I was not satisfied with my knowledge of God. People ask, Apostle, I want to know God. You say fast, they fast and still do not know him.

You say read your Bible, they say I understand, but I want to be confident

The Holy Spirit led me to this message. For the profiting of the believer on earth, God's interest in being known is captured in 3 dimensions.

Press to know these and that pursuit is sufficient within this lifetime

3 aspects of God we must focus on

1. His character

   Every time the Bible demands that we know God, the first thing to press to know is his character Exodus 33:18-19

   Moses asked to see his glory. The glory of God is all that makes God God. God said I will make all my goodness pass before you.

   The goodness of God as an aspect of his character is itself dimensional. When you claim you have seen it, it is only an aspect

   Genesis to Deuteronomy came from that encounter. Moses was not there from the beginning, yet look at the accuracy of his writing, simply because a dimension of his goodness passed before him

   Isaiah 40:28-30 Power to the faint and strength to those who have no might are expressions of his character. We piece together the manifestations of his character, like an artist drawing a personality

   Draw a man who is kind, loving, holding his children. He always wears a white suit, and if he sees you he says have you eaten.

   Though you have never seen him, you walk into an office, a man in a white suit says young man have you eaten, and you say good afternoon Mr James. The knowledge of his character

   Psalm 145:8-20 The psalmist explored God. More than the Pauline epistles, the Psalms give a rich capture of his character

   Gracious, full of compassion, slow to anger, great mercy. This is the God you are called to serve

   His tender mercies are over all his works. There is a dimension of compassion everything he created must experience.

   Even Satan has a length of time before his destruction. God does not just judge and destroy because he is angry.

   He allows time for repentance. Know this and certain dimensions of fear die

   The unknown God finds form in your mind. Every time you say father your spirit connects to somebody

   It is inconsistent with his character to be far from you while you pray sincerely. That gives confidence in prayer

   There is gain in loving God. Preservation is an advantage given to those who love him

   Psalm 103:1-22 We sing it as a hymn, unfortunately still to an unknown God. God never calls the seed of Jacob to seek him in vain.

   He is benevolent enough to leave benefits Psalm 103:2-5. There are 5:

   • Forgives all your iniquities
   • Heals all your diseases

   When Jesus forgave and healed he was validating the character of God. Without that we would doubt God's ability to forgive

   My Christian life changed when I truly understood the character of God. Your theology, praise, worship and attitude will reflect the description of God you have been taught

   I have been so indoctrinated by the love of God for me that if a voice says I love you, I reply thank you, I know he was speaking to me.

   Are you that confident of the love of God? 2 Corinthians 13:14

   When you understand the character of God there is no limit to what you can do. When men say there is a casting down, I say there is a lifting up

   I am evolving in experience to becoming a friend of God. It is a noble status, few in scripture were called friend of God.

   God takes away the restraint in showing you the mysteries concerning your life and any territory. It becomes impossible for him to visit a territory and not consult you Genesis 18:17

   If someone sees me in a vision dying and says Apostle I saw an obituary, whether real or fake I will thank them and hug them, but I know something about God

   Hezekiah knew this. A genuine prophet came and said put your house in order, you will not recover.

   Isaiah was a prophet with integrity, not a liar. Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and said God, remember, there is something I know about your character Isaiah 38:1-5

   Fear will give you a heart attack for nothing except you know the character of God. Who is the Thou in the valley of the shadow of death? Omnipotent, omniscient Psalm 23:4

   His love is eternal, so his favor and benefits must be eternal. There is no genuine love without giving

   Someone says this director collected a bribe of 5,000. You say, I know this man, he will not bribe.

   Do you know God enough to say that when someone says God told me everybody is going down?

   My altar is to a loving, compassionate God who can also arise as a warrior

   The Centurion said I know the integrity of the Roman government, I know you are a man under authority. Jesus said he had not found such faith, not in Israel Matthew 8:5-10

   I used to live a life full of fear and uncertainty. The character of God gave me stability

   What gives me hope that this ministry will remain serving the purposes of God? If I say because I am anointed, that is too small an answer to sponsor longevity.

   I do not know the future, but I know the Alpha Omega God. When he starts a thing he is able to finish

   2 Timothy 1:12 The second thing I know about God, as revealed by the apostles: I know whom I have believed

   1 Thessalonians 5:24 No matter the millions of dollars in a building project, you will watch with wonder as the faithful man arises. Everything God gives endures

   Are you building your life on sand or on a rock? Numbers 23:19 God is not a man that he should lie. That is why I know I am an eternal blessing

   Genesis 12:2-3, Galatians 3:29 Everything he told Abraham routes to Christ and is my reality. I am a blessing, I cannot be a curse to any nation.

   Every time I step into a nation it is a triumphant entry Psalm 118:26

   God is a lifter of men. My family may be the lowest but I know something about God

   Hebrews 11:6 God rewards, he does not pay a monthly salary.

   It may look like the reward is not coming, but even if it takes 25 years like Abraham, when the rewarder comes he comes with his reward and benefits and makes your life a praise to the nations

   Do not allow an ignorant person to confuse you about this God. Those who refused to bribe in the office feel stupid because they would have lived in a duplex by now.

   The rewarder is on his way to you

   Who God destroys

   There are 3 categories of people in the Bible that God destroys. Number one is enemies

   God's enemy is anybody who perpetually interrupts the manifestation of his will. His definition is not based on sentiments or biases. You can become God's enemy if you consistently interrupt his will

   If you are his child he may not throw you out, but you will be etched out of the position that creates that interruption

   When you say arise and let your enemies be scattered, make sure you are not part of them first Psalm 68:1.

   Psalm 24:3 That is why the Bible talks about righteousness. Do not pray blindly and be a victim of your prayer

   Because you hate a man does not mean God hates him. You pray God kill that director, and God says he is a Cyrus I ordained.

   For as long as that system works, it is in honor to them that you will rise Isaiah 45:1

   There are Cyruses who are not in Christ, but through the sincerity of their hearts have aligned strategically to God's program.

   He will leave them there, their relevance is too important. It is a mystery of the end time program that many not of the faith will play sensitive roles

   Joshua asked are you for us or against us. The answer was neither, I am for anything that is through my will Joshua 5:13-14.

   Moses asked who is on the Lord's side Exodus 32:26. Elijah said if God be God 1 Kings 18:21

   Before you invoke God's judgment, verify your position. Many believers have become casualties of careless prophetic speaking, saying Lord destroy anybody that stops your program

   God always gives the will of man an opportunity to reject him before judgment is meted out

   Nineveh was idolatrous, stiff necked and stubborn, yet God sent Jonah. He loved Jonah, but Jonah's life went down as a genuine prophet Jonah 1:1-3

   You do not have to be fake to destroy, you just have to be out of the will of God.

   Many good people are corruptors of God's program because they do not understand the power of alignment

   Jonah running away was putting Nineveh at ransom. He was delaying the manifestation. God needed to give them a chance to choose him or otherwise

   Jonah entered the belly of the fish until he repented, realigned and went to Nineveh with the same instruction

   Jonah ran because of something he knew about God. He knew God is merciful, and hoped his delay would make God angry and punish. God does not forbid with iniquity indefinitely

   When the king declared a fast for everyone, beast and man, Jonah was angry. He said this is why I ran, I knew you would forgive them Jonah 4:1-2

   Know that about God and you can still reach your unbelieving grandfather after 35 years of witchcraft. Let me give you a chance to love Jesus.

   The moment he declares the lordship of Jesus there is a translation from the kingdom of darkness Colossians 1:13

   Explore the character of God as a preacher, businessman, family man, and certain fears will die. The Church is largely powerless in conviction because there is something about the character of God we do not know

2. His ways

   Psalm 25:4-5

   His character talks about who he is. His ways talk about how he operates

   Beyond the gift of discernment by the spirit, the secret to discernment is a thorough knowledge of the ways of God. When you know how God acts you will know how he does not act

   When there is inaccuracy in your representation of God and his purposes, it may come from an inaccurate understanding of how God works

   God will never manipulate the will of men

   When he created man as the zenith of his creation he said let them have dominion Genesis 1:26.

   It became scripturally incorrect for God to superimpose anything upon man, even at the detriment of your eternal destiny

   You can reject him. As many as received him, not everybody John 1:12. God watches someone go to hell and says I give you an option

   The instruction in the days of Moses was look and live Numbers 21:8-9. He asked the people needing healing what they wanted

   God has bound himself to respect the will of men. You never force people, in ministry or anywhere

   If I want to prophesy to you, you have a right to say I appreciate you but I am not ready to receive, and I must respect it

   Leadership is very poor in Africa and in many circles of the church because we do not know this modus operandi of God

   One mistake of the prophetic ministry, beyond bankruptcy of consecration, is that men have not subjected themselves to understand the ways of God. The prophetic by design is complicated

   Knowledge of the ways of God defines the coordinates of your seeing and hearing, so even as a prophet you know what to reject and what to receive

   Being open to the realm of the spirit does not mean you announce everything you see and hear. It must be sieved through the character of God and the ways of God

   If I see the spirit of death coming for someone here, it may be accurate, but announcing you are going to die has not edified you.

   The purpose of the prophetic is edification, exhortation, comfort 1 Corinthians 14:3. I leave you with fear and doubt

   We are called to the ministry of reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:18. It is not his desire that any perish 2 Peter 3:9.

   So after declaring what the devil wants to do, I must use scripture to show a recommended path of obedience that leads to your victory

   God encourages, challenges and can provoke you, but he never uses up and manipulates your will

   If you manipulate the will of your wife and children as a husband, or of people in society, you are not behaving like God

   People must be given room, under sufficient knowledge, to make their choices. With 2.6 billion professing Christians, God did not wave his hand and say by the end of September everybody must be saved

   To men and women of God especially, let us trust God for grace to work in integrity, especially in challenging God's people to sow and give.

   I believe in giving, it is the way God designed resources to come into his house

   Anything with the extra luggage of manipulation, lies, false prophecy and deceit is not it. God's people are not stupid.

   The more they stay in his presence the more wisdom they receive and they know when truth comes

   Love people and serve them sincerely and truthfully. When you need their help and cooperation tell them sincerely and watch, they will surprise you

   Pointing fingers does not profit. The goal is holistic growth of the body through knowledge

   1 Timothy 5:1 Rather than embarrass someone in public. If a man of influence is involved in something that can cause a serious problem for his family or church, I will not prophesy doom to him.

   I would say see me in the office. Just because you saw it, it is intelligence of the ways of God that guides how you dispense it

   Mistakes made in the name of being bold destroy people. You are talking to a CEO with employees, a government official, kings and nobles. Many have lost strategic people because of the bankruptcy of discernment

   Jesus gave them room for questions on money, family, marriage, children, demons. He said this is what your law says, but this is what I now say

   On Pentecost they said the disciples were drunk. Peter said this is that Acts 2:13-16

   Once you subscribe to the government of heaven, limit your operations and edit your principles and practices to be consistent with how God acts.

   Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are a concise and sufficient compendium of the earthwork of Jesus. Learn from how he responded

   It is inconsistent with the way God works to see someone in need, especially if it costs you little, and ignore it Proverbs 3:27.

   A small child is crying and 50 naira can stop it, and you shout I am a prayer giant and walk past

   The Good Samaritan Luke 10:30-37. The priest and the Levite were focused on religiosity and ignored the dying man.

   The Samaritan, who had nothing in common with Jews, treated him, took him to an inn and said I will pay any extra bills on my return. Jesus asked who demonstrated God likeness

   True spirituality is beyond prayer and fasting. It is demonstrated in the ability to give. The character of love, the foundation of the Christian faith, is on giving

   Balance: you are not called to solve everybody's problem. Some will hear this and say uncle, Apostle says pay my school fees and house rent, while crossing their hands in irresponsibility.

   God is love, but he does not endorse irresponsibility

   Luke 8:18 Some hear only the parts that relate to their lust and go around harassing people

3. His power

   This is where the administration of your authority and the zenith of your dominion is at the mercy of this knowledge

   Psalm 63:1-2 I want to see your power, not just your face and your ways

   Matthew 22:29 When you do not know his ways and his power you walk in error, confusion, defiance and deviation from God's preset pattern

   The assignment of the power of God is to bring all things into alignment with the will of God.

   Outside the will of God the power has no assignment. It only stops working when the matter or person is in perfect alignment

   When you release healing power, it does not just heal the person

   It scans that man's life, sees what aspect of his health is inconsistent with the will of God, and like a drug in the body begins to correct, depending on the dimension and gravity of the power released

   You have not truly known God, as far as it is given to us, if you do not know his power

   Ephesians 1:18-21 Paul wants us to know 3 things: the hope of his calling, the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of his power.

   There is no weakness for the believer who knows the power of God

   Acts 4:33 In the face of curses, yokes and the gates of hell wanting to prevail, you need to know his power.

   The revelation of God's power brings you into unquestionable dominion

   1 Samuel 17:44-47 The Philistine can be sickness, life, limitations. David said you come with a sword, spear and shield, but I come in the name of the Lord of hosts

   Lord of hosts is literally captain of the Angel Army. Like the Grand Commander in Nigeria, it is only at his final command that war is executed or prohibited.

   When he gives a command, you are dead

   David spoke from the abundance of his revelation of the God who gave him the bear and the lion

   Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said our God is able to deliver us and he will, but even if he does not, we will not bow Daniel 3.

   I watched that story in a children's cartoon while preparing this message. You needed to see what the power of God did in that cartoon

   Many mountains and battles you will confront as a believer: financial, marital, health. There are mysterious devilish sicknesses.

   You wake up with a pain, go to the hospital, and they say we don't like what we are seeing in this machine, this is already stage two

   The revelation of God's power will terminate everything my Father has not planted in your body.

   You cannot bear witness to a God you have not seen and known his power. After I am that I am, God showed Moses power: the rod, the serpent, the leprous hand Exodus 4:1-8.

   He told him, anything you see Pharaoh doing, do not be afraid

   Pharaoh mocked Moses. His magicians threw down rods that became serpents. If you do not know God well, when the devil does what you think only God can do, you run.

   Just because you saw one does not mean that is all

   Nine plagues, then a plague Pharaoh's wizards could not reproduce, the death of the firstborn. Study these things with caution.

   When exploring extra biblical materials do it with maturity and wisdom. A new believer should not expose himself to such books

   Egypt dedicated their firstborn, there was a mystery of the strength of Egypt shrouded in them. When God visited the firstborn, Pharaoh said go, give them gold.

   Then he pursued them and the Red Sea buried him and his armies

   If the Red Sea can bury Pharaoh there is nothing it cannot bury

   Every spirit and manifestation of darkness that says I will keep you bound, your children will join you, your grandchildren will join you.
   Everything that is not by my God, from my God and with the permission of my God, I decree and declare let it be buried forever.

   Power is the ability to cause change, many times the ability to force change Psalm 66:3

   The end time church is a church of power. Power to become makes you like Christ in transformation. Power against reveals the warrior dimension of the believer

   The whole armor of God is a consciousness. You put it on in your mind and by your speaking, and its reality is activated as you speak with understanding Ephesians 6:10-18.

   Paul paints a picture of a warrior because the earth is not a playground

   Galatians 5:17 There is the contention of the old and new man, Cain and Abel, Satan and the gates of hell fighting the church

   You can be wise in principles, but the days before us necessitate genuine spiritual power. To see the sick healed takes more than sympathy Acts 10:38

   Philip went down to Samaria and the people gave heed because they heard and saw the miracles Acts 8:5-6

   A generation of power will be a generation of glory. You cannot see glory without power. The spirit of glory is also the spirit of power 1 Peter 4:14

   Do not begin your faith adventure in this complicated time, as a man of God, businessman or leader, without sorting out the revelation of genuine power.

   Accessing power is progressive, but there is a threshold measure you need to begin, because you are treading delicate spiritual terrains

   Satan will kill and destroy anything he can. Power affords you longevity of stay and impact

   I have not only read that there are spirits, I have seen them. I have seen how far Satan can go destroying glorious destinies

   I have also seen the power of God. In a moment an age-long captivity lifts

   It takes power to clear every mountain and keep making strategic Kingdom progress. There are forces that will not rest until you are brought down

   Someone hits something that looks like a stone, the leg swells, and the hospital cannot bring it down. Is that a stone? Psalm 91:5-6

   For anyone who has been a victim of any of these arsenals of darkness, thanks be to God who causes us always to triumph.
   I decree and declare, in the name of he who died and is exalted and seated at the throne of the father, delivered this moment. 2 Corinthians 2:14

   There are regions where people do not rise, and territorial spirits that define a civilization. If you do not understand power those regions bring you down to reflect the city

   There are families where men are the women and women are the men, and those who rise beyond a threshold are cut short for reasons you cannot explain.

   People stay abroad 20 or 30 years and return with nothing. Forces are real. Jesus did not hide that.

   1 John 5:19 The whole world lies in wickedness

   No matter the quality of ingredients, if you do not set it on fire there will not be a meal. Your knife cannot turn solid to liquid, but put it under fire and watch

   Only fire exposes the viper hidden in the log of wood Acts 28:3

   For as long as there is no fire the serpent keeps masquerading, moving in your body from head to toe while you wonder what is growing in your system

   The fire of the Holy Ghost, an encounter with the power of God

If you want to transit from the unknown God of the men in Athens to a God you can boldly tell the world

Come and join me serve this God, give to this God, love, worship and exalt this God

Then he can be known.

His character, his ways, and finally his power

You do not see the wind but you see its effect. A tornado sweeps buildings put together with cement like children playing football. This is the God we serve

It takes more than an evangelistic discussion to turn a generation from idols. You tell them, behold the power of this God who sent us.

That power is translated in healings, miracles, restorations, whole families coming under its influence, captivity taken away in one day

Someone tells you, I had HIV, this is the medical report. Stage four cancer, verify it medically. Someone who was on a wheelchair is pushing it, running around healthier than you.

Someone grounded and left for dead raised by the Holy Spirit

Power reminds all men there is a God in heaven. When men forget God, he uses his power to remind them of his person

God has never used character to call the attention of a rebellious generation. He uses power. When he gets their attention he teaches them his ways, and finally brings them into conformity with his character

Elijah did not stand there singing and dancing. It was the power of God. Same with Gideon, same with the three Hebrew boys. The pattern is first a display of his power

If you are the only one saved in a family of 10, let them see a demonstration of God's power beyond falling down and standing up, beyond speaking gibberish.

A man who could not pay his rent in January started coming to church and by June God had lifted him

Men have not grown to a level of civilization where the power of God becomes of non-effect. Typewriters and some phones are outdated, but power never will be.

If you have the power of God you are current for all seasons. Power is a language understood in all realms

Hunger for more

I am not satisfied with the level of power I have. There is a dimension of God's power that can save a nation in one day. We need to tap into that frequency

Thank God for what he has done but do not camp around it. Five people getting saved in a territory full of idolatry is not enough.

Read your Bible and see how nations were saved in one day. Five dead people rising in one week, verified through your hands, with the glory going to God, becomes too notable to be ignored.

I have seen these things in my vision

It takes stamina, hunger and press

• Lord, take away anything that will bring complacency in my life.
• The cancer of arrival mentality, drive it out of my life.
• Let me seek you like I have never found you.

This was Paul's hunger, that I may know him Philippians 3:10. A man who was killed got up, dusted himself and came back to life until his assignment was over Acts 14:19-20

Vision: heal them all

Many years ago I came out of a building and a curfew had been declared in a territory.

Every normal healthy person had gone inside. The only people outside were deformed and distressed, sitting on mats in lines

I was in the midst of people with all kinds of pain and sorrow, not just medical, dejected.

Even a heart of stone would be crushed till it becomes a heart of flesh. They were helpless

I heard an audible voice say, heal them all. Not just physical healing. That sent me looking for the materials of Charles and Francis Hunter and Aimee Semple McPherson.

The secret of the future is in the past

I still have their materials. I do not know what those people did with God that brought them certain levels of grace. They carried grace

• May God revive us.
• May God empower us to be able to heal our land.

Some miracles we celebrate today were casual for the workers and ushers in those ministries

Smith Wigglesworth would raise a dead man, who falls like a pack of cards, lift him again, he falls, and by the third time the man sniffs and comes back to life. A casual miracle

A group insulted Maria Woodworth-Etter and she said the Lord judge you. The tongue of one protruded like a cancer until a committee brought her to apologize, and she slapped the tongue and it went down.

Documented in history, and fear came upon all

The mockery that has come to the house of God is because one person has not been used as a warning that there is sanity and honor around priesthood

There is power that can come upon you as a businessman. You will do business like a spirit, not like an individual.

Beyond intellectual prowess, which is important, there are graces stored to be poured like fire from heaven upon a generation

Stop advocating an unknown God, a God filled with gaps in your conviction and confidence, with your life plagued by fear.

You may preach with confidence but live in fear. Covid was a strong lesson that something about our confidence needed an upgrade

Signs and wonders

The Lord told me a few people will be signs, demonstrators of his power. I first prayed for myself that I must become one of such people

• Lord, find men and women in the midst of your people who will be signs.
• Signposts showing men the possibilities captured in this divine life.

By the election of grace I decree and declare, the grace that makes you a sign and a wonder in ministry, in your profession, in business, in family, rest upon you now.

Your life ceases to be ordinary. Your life becomes a Bible for many to read, a compendium of the manifold wonders of God.

The sign that will rest on some of you:

• The favor of God
• The healing anointing
• Strange, inexplicable influence
• Speed that cannot be described
• A demonstration of the gift of the spirit at a level men have not seen
• Extraordinary intelligence, empowerment in your mind

Isaiah 8:18 To become signs you will not just sing songs.

There will be mysteries from your voice to the nation. Preachers who are signs and wonders, your life a case study men use to learn God

Financial signs arise. Intercessor signs arise

Going to a restaurant you have never been to, in doubt whether to turn left or right, you look for the signpost. It tells you that you are near and directs you accurately

• For someone confused about God, how favor works, how consecration works.
• Confused about how the spirit of revelation functions in a man.
• Confused about how men can be custodians of the mysteries of God, how God can trust men with nations.
• May your life be an explanation to divine mysteries.

The 3 platforms for knowing God

His character, his ways, his power. As far as this dimension of our existence is concerned, God is captured and revealed to men under these three

Any route to knowing God beyond this, and as much as scripture reveals, will tilt you to error and divination

• Every dimension of revelation that is deficient in your life, I call upon my God who is also your God.
• By his Spirit, mandated to be the revealer of all things, even the deep things of God, may the spirit of revelation rest upon you.

1 Corinthians 2:10

The proof that you know him

• His character: conformity to Christ in experience, and fear is replaced with reverence, not fear after the flesh
• His ways: excellence in living in the cosmos, you triumph in destiny actualization and fulfilling God's purposes
• His power: your dominion is established, and you have grace to demonstrate and validate as a witness that he is King and Lord

This world needs to see the power of God beyond falling down and rising up. Supernatural solutions, superimposing systems and structures.

Your life becomes an explanation of divine mysteries. You enter a nation and keep it at a standstill, a lampstand and a witness

There are many Christians, sincerely children of God, but few who have truly known his character and understood his ways.

Many things we complain about should never be prayer points. The answers are shrouded in knowing the ways of God

Evil continues to multiply as if it has no regard for our consecration, loyalty or profession of faith. Something is wrong. There needs to be a restoration of authentic power

The men in Athens were devout, zealous, sincere, dedicated, but to an unknown God. He calls us to take away that inscription and rewrite it for ourselves and for a generation.

If Paul did it we can do it

We can disciple and mentor a generation methodically to know God by revealing his character, showing his ways and demonstrating his power

John 17:3

He is not an unknown God, he seeks to be known. There is no searching of his understanding, but he designed a curriculum for us on this side of his kingdom to know him sufficiently.

Beyond the shores of this civilization we will be given another manuscript. For now he has left us a compendium of his character, his ways and access to his power

Do not leave your Christian experience with this gap and ignorance

For those making this decision for the first time, and those rededicating their lives

Run to Jesus John 14:6

Those who come to him he will in no wise cast away John 6:37

He is able to give you a new beginning, no matter how you have moved in defiance of the will of God

There is a translation from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of his dear son Colossians 1:13

• Lord Jesus, I have heard your word.
• I believe in you.
