Faith as the Currency of This Season

Hebrews 11:6 — Without faith it is impossible to please God. He that comes to the Father must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Romans 1:17 says the just shall live by faith. 1 John 5:4 — for whosoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

Faith is the currency of this season and this is the time to buy. With God there is no window shopping. You must come with the intent to engage and take hold.

What Is Kairos?

We have been journeying through several keys for achieving rest: grace, alignment, specific instructions, relationships, angelic forces, wisdom principles, and now Kairos.

Kairos is a calendar moment where many things that could not happen can now happen. When Kairos opens up, it is the responsibility of leaders to recognise it — because once you move in the direction of a Kairos, many prayers become unnecessary. The man at the pool of Bethesda did not have to pray any prayer anymore. Kairos showed up — this time not as an event but as a person.

Kairos can also be a person. Entering into a Kairos season leaves deposits that follow you for life.

The Fastest Way to Rise in the Ranks

The fastest way to rise in the ranks is to find the will of God and enter into it.

Finding what God is doing and aligning with it is not just a spiritual principle — it is the most practical strategy for elevation. As you complete missions in the spirit, like a video game, you are promoted and upgraded. Your weapons are upgraded. Your capacity is upgraded. Promotions happen in the spirit.

In one year a person can be promoted once. Another can be promoted three, four, five times in one year. What are the signs of promotion in the spirit? Your weight increases. The intensity of your results increases. You can shift from receiving the gift of ordinary men to receiving the gift of kings and queens. Your realm — your economy of experiences — keeps upgrading as you keep fulfilling the missions of God.

The 2013 Kairos — A Lived Example

In 2012, a fellow came asking for intercession for a campus. Lawrence of that time was still looking for his own prayer life — his personal needs were not even enough to make him consistent. He was asked to come and pray for the territory, every Saturday.

What he did not know at the time was that this was a Kairos season. Not just within the campus, not just the state or the nation — within the whole continent, and the world.

100 years before 2013, two servants of God had prophesied — William Seymour among them — that a revival far eclipsing the Azusa Street revival would hit the earth. The Azusa Street revival was so tangible that children played in the literal Shekinah cloud. Holy Ghost baptism was restored through it.

When that prophetic time arrived, witnesses began to prophesy it from various places. A woman came from outside the country and built the world's tallest flag. She reached out to spiritual generals in Ibadan — and that particular Saturday prayer meeting became a point of alignment with the most significant Kairos of the century.

I found the will of God and I jumped into it. The thing was not even about me — it was God's plan for the territory. But those who align with God's plan for a territory are changed by it forever.

Kairos and Your Life

Sometimes Kairos does not happen the way you expect, which is why people think it has not happened. Stay sensitive. The arrival of a Kairos moment is not always dramatic. It can look like a Saturday morning prayer meeting. It can look like an assignment you almost declined.
