The Vision and the Commission

I saw an array of men and women languishing, wailing, deformed, battered, beaten. And I said, "Lord, why all this?" He said, "And from the beginning it was not so. And now the hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith. And I'm sending you to undertake this task."

Today is declared your day of freedom. The days of torment and torture are over in your life. The day of affliction is over in your life in the name of Jesus.

Vision: God's Destiny of Completeness

Vision is the unveiling of God's plan as it relates to us. And the vision of all is loaded in this book called the Bible. Isaiah 29:11-12. The vision of all — God's plan for every one of us — is as contained here.

God has a destiny of completeness for you and me. Whatever is incomplete in your health, God will complete it.

Every child of God is a child of destiny and is not permitted to live like a destitute. You're a child of destiny. You belong to dignity. There is nothing dignifying about sickness.

Those whom he predestinated, he also called. And those he called he justified, and those he justified he has glorified. So we are born again to be glorified, not to cope with shame and reproach. Therefore, in the name of Jesus, whatever sparks shame and reproach in our health must give way.

People should glorify God with his hand on your life. Whatever makes men question God comes to an end in your life today.

God will always back up his plan in our lives any day, any time.

There Is Healing in the Atonement

There is healing in the atonement. Behind every sickness and sin was the fall of man. And Jesus came to raise us up from that fallen state. So if you are saved, the effect of the fall has no leg hold on your life.

Before the fall of man, there was no sickness. Adam was created a super healthy being. After the fall, everything began to be falling, including sickness and disease. Now that you are saved, the effect of the fall has no more hold on your life. So sickness has no legitimate claim on your life.

In the name of Jesus, today is your day of liberty.

The Entrance of His Word Gives Light

Psalm 119:130: The entrance of his word gives light and gives understanding to the simple. Not the hearing, not the reading, not the studies, but the entrance. The entrance.

May his word gain an entrance into your heart today, because that entrance gives light, and that light shatters every hold of the path of darkness. Darkness cannot withstand it. It is the entrance that gives light.

Job 33:19-24: It was a description of a terminal disease. His flesh consumed, his bones that were not seen stick out. His soul draweth nigh to the grave and his life to the destroyers. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness — then the Lord will be gracious unto him and say, "Deliver him from going to the pit. I have found the ransom."

The inspired interpretation of the Word is what inoculates us with the truth. It's like a vaccination. The inspired interpretation of the truth inoculates the believer with the truth that sets free. "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

In 1980, August 30th, I was studying Seven Keys to Divine Healing by Kenneth Hagin. The last statement on the last page — light broke out from Matthew 8:17 and I screamed: I can never be sick. That was inoculation through interpretation.

In 1984, I had some boils that developed on my back. I was studying the book Healing in the Atonement jointly authored by Mark Faxen and Kenneth Hagin. I saw the interpretation of grief and sorrows as contained in Isaiah 53 — that grief means sickness and sorrow means pain from the original Hebrew. Jesus carried our sicknesses and bore our pains. It sank into me. I said, "I'm going." I sat on that boil. It turned in the moment to a soothing experience.

Pain vanished by the inoculation of the truth.

You can't send somebody to the hospital to take an injection for you. You have to face your own issues. If there be an interpreter, one among a thousand, who will show to man his rights, it will be merciful unto him. I have found the ransom. So I became pain-free, because he did not only carry my sickness, he carried my pain.

No pain returns with you from this service. Every form of sickness drops off your body today.

His power is transmitted through his word. Luke 5:17 — his power is present to heal when the word is taught. Matthew 4:23 — he was teaching, preaching the kingdom in their synagogues, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. All manner. So your manner of disease must go. Your manner of sickness must vanish.

Jesus: The Great Physician

Jesus introduced himself as the physician. Matthew 9:12-13: "They that are whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. I am that physician. I will have mercy and not sacrifice."

He is the great physician of spirit, soul and body. He's not only saviour of the soul — he's also the saviour of the body. The same power that saves the soul saves the body.

Christ is the ultimate answer in our search for answers to all health issues. Medical science has no answer to demonic oppressions. And Jesus went about doing good and healing all them that were oppressed of the devil. Acts 10:38. There is no medical research centre under heaven that has an answer to oppression of the devil. You can travel anywhere with your money — when it's an operation of the devil, forget it. You can't scan an oppression.

Just like curses — there's no cure for curses except with Jesus. Curses wrap generations. That's why Jesus is the final bus stop on all issues.

And he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whatever he did yesterday, he will do today.

The Good News: What Jesus Still Does

• Jesus still repairs damaged parts of the body today. The palsied man was brought before Jesus — couldn't move. Jesus said, "Rise up. Take your bed. Go home." Every damaged part of that body was fixed. He saw their faith — the faith of the men who carried him, who cleared the roof to get him in. And the same man that was bedfast stood up, carried his bed and went. People exclaimed, "We have never seen it in this fashion." Somebody's healing will be one of a kind today.
• Jesus replaces irreparable parts. The man born blind — he had no eye. Jesus replaced a part that was not there. John 9:1-8. Jesus heals all manner of sickness and disease today. Your manner notwithstanding — don't make it special. There's nothing special about it. If anybody calls it a special case, that just calls for a special miracle worker.

Matthew 8:16-17: And when the evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils, and he cast out the spirits with his word and healed all that were sick. How many? All. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet: Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Healed all to fulfil what is written. Now hear this — what is written about you.

Jesus rose from the dead and when he did, he came down with seven redemptive packages for us: power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, blessing. He received for us strength. So strength is your portion and my portion in Christ.

Some are not sick, but they are not well. There is no vitality. They are feeble. Every form of feebleness clears off your body today.

Power flows through the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 3:16: His name — through faith in his name — has made this man strong whom you see and know. The faith which is by him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. At his name, every name bows. Therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ the great physician, be made whole.

Sickness and disease has no choice but to bow to the authority of that name. For at his name every name shall bow of things on earth, things underneath the earth, and things in heaven. No matter where the battles are coming from, everything that has a name bows to that name. Sickness is a name — it must bow. Cancer must bow. Leukemia must bow. Diabetes must bow. High blood pressure must bow. Hypertension must bow.

Spirits Behind Health Issues

Medical science cannot deliver from spiritual attacks. And most of the challenges we face have spiritual root. Jesus was casting out evil spirits with his word. He went about doing good and healing them oppressed of the devil. Acts 10:38.

So there are certain spirits behind certain health issues:

• The spirit of infirmity. In Luke 13, the Bible talks about a woman with the spirit of infirmity. Infirmity means sickness. The spirit of sickness. That spirit got that woman bent over — she could never stand up. And Jesus said, "Ought not this woman, whom Satan has bound, be loosed?" Satan was behind it. Not a spinal problem — Satan was behind it. Every satanic oppression on your body must fly today. They must flee off your body today.
• The spirit of fear. It's a tormenting spirit. Anything you fear befalls you. Job said, "The things I greatly fear have come to me." Job 3:24-25. We are told there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear because fear has torment. Proverbs 29:25 — the fear of man brings him into bondage. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Hebrews 2:14-15: Jesus took part of flesh and blood that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil, and deliver them who through the fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Jesus rose from the dead to deliver us from the torment of fear. I therefore curse that hold on anyone's life here in the name of Jesus.
• The spirit of insanity. Mark 5:2-15.
• The spirit of heaviness. That's depression. Isaiah 61:3: to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness. The spirit of heaviness is the bait for all oppression. You cannot be oppressed until you are first depressed. So oppression begins with depression. The spirit of heaviness is the bait for all oppression of the devil. A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. It creates room for sickness and disease. Therefore, rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. You have the joy of salvation, the joy in the Holy Ghost, the joy of revelation. You have no basis for being a victim of depression.
• Deaf and dumb spirit. Mark 9:17-27. Today every deaf ear opens up. Every dumb tongue is loosed, because Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
• The spirit of fever. Jesus went to Peter's mother-in-law's place who was taken by a fever. And Jesus rebuked the fever. Luke 4:38-39. Recurrent fever — on, off, on — it was a spirit. Jesus rebuked that spirit and she was made whole immediately.
• Boils. Satan went and smote Job with boils. It's not a blood cloth — it is a Satan cloth. Every satanic crew behind any health challenge in your life — in the name that's above all names, the name of Jesus Christ, I command them to lose their grip right now.

Colossians 2:8-10: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men, after the elements of this world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. Nothing can make you incomplete under heaven. You are complete in him. Therefore, every trace of incompletion in your total health comes under a curse today.

1 Corinthians 6:20: You have been bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God's. Your body and spirit supposed to glorify God. And that becomes the experience from today.

You have been inoculated by the truth right now. The revelation of the truth, the inoculation of the truth sets free. Today is declared your day of freedom. Just one word that enters into a man's heart has power to turn things around supernaturally. The Lord sent a word into Jacob — he turned everything around. Just one word.

Ezekiel 2:2: And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me and set me up on my feet. You are getting up on your feet. He sent his word and it healed and delivered. Psalm 107:20: He sent his word, it heals and delivers. The sent word that enters heals and delivers.

No hereditary disease has a hold on your life — because you are now a member of God's own family. Ephesians 2:19: You are now citizens of the household of God. You are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. And there is no sickness in that lineage. So no sickness in your body in the name of Jesus.

Is there no balm in Gilead? It's your turn. God's word is the balm in Gilead. Jesus the physician is there. Whatever God your God cannot do cannot exist. Doctors will say "except God" — and we have come to that God today. With God, all things are possible. Jesus needs your faith to intervene in your body and affairs. Let your faith come alive because you're going home with your testimony.
