The generation that seeks thy face

• When we pray, power is released. When we pray, bondages are loosed. When we pray, fallow grounds are broken. When we pray, there is an overturn.
• Let the bondages break. Let the seasons change.
• Wherever I am that is not the will of the Lord for my life, I announce: arise.
• Every arrow, every manipulation, every spoken word, every gathering targeted against you, let it return to the sender.
• Anybody in any grave, grave in career, grave in ministry, grave in expectation, come out.

Isaiah 60:1, Ezekiel 37:12

Bondages are destroyed. Setbacks are eliminated. Fallow grounds are broken. Mountains are melted. In less than 48 hours it is turned into a testimony.

There is a spirit of restoration here. Whatever the enemy took, tried to sabotage, tried to steal, tried to exchange, let it be restored. It will not happen again.

The Lord will give you a new name this week. Any name that is against the will of God for your life, reject it. Addiction is not your name.

Manipulation is not your name. Oppression is not your name.

If you have left where you were but you are stuck between two seasons, say:

Lord, I thank you for what you have done, but I have not yet gotten to where you have for me.

If the enemy has raised an obstacle in your transition, break it now

Whether you have faith or you do not have faith, my faith will work for you. It will be complete this week. The zeal of the Lord will perform it.

Isaiah 9:7

Every arrow and projection against you, let it return upon their own heads. The next one you will count will be a hundred. You counted one, you counted two.

A little one has become a thousand. A small one has become a great nation. The Lord will multiply you, you will not be fewer. The Lord will glorify you, you will not be small.

Isaiah 60:22, Jeremiah 30:19

• Which power, which voice, which ordinance, which written code is delaying, obstructing, saying it will not happen? Break now.
• That very one thing I am expecting, what is holding it? Scatter it.

• The generation that seeks thy face, the Egyptians you saw before, you will see them no more.
• Let the fallow ground be broken. Evil transactions, reverse. Shame, be broken. Let all doors be open.
• Let the hand of the Lord remain upon your life. Let the shackles and chains be broken.
• The Lord has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
• You will not stumble, you will not crumble. Testimony after testimony, victory after victory.
• Carriers of revival, carriers of restoration, carriers of the fullness of God.
• Let your laughter come back. Let your joy come back.
• The devil will not spoil what God has ordained. You are not going back to where you were.
• You will not end where your father ended.
• Let there be an outpouring, a greater grace, a greater manifestation.
• Let the hand of the Lord push you to where you belong. You will not falter, you will not fail, you will not be stranded.
• You bear upon your body the mark of Christ. Let no one trouble you.
• Your prayers will not be in vain. Your fasting will not be in vain. Your declaration will not be in vain. Your amen will not be in vain.

• Court cases that are delaying you, let the Lord bring an instant intervention.
• I don't know why they gave it to you and took it away. Let it be reversed. You will not lose your favor, your evidence, what the Lord has destined for you.

• Not only one person will be the light in your family. Let everybody's light burst out.

Say: I love the word of God. It is the compass for my living. As I hear the word, as I declare the word, great and mighty things happen in my life

Father, make your word and your will known to us. Let there be none of any man but all of you. Jesus, let only Jesus be made manifest.

An intercessor changes the dispensation

We are that generation that seeks the face of the Lord. We cannot be stranded. We cannot see shame Psalm 24:6

There was never a time of divine intervention that changed the trajectory of a dispensation until God raised an intercessor

There was no rain upon the earth because God had not found a man to till the ground. I believe prayer is tilling the ground in the spirit

We are living in a season where everybody is saying it depends on your hard work. That is not undermining diligence and hard work. But we are dealing with forces that are bigger than your hard work

The preacher saw an evil under the sun Ecclesiastes 10:5 to Ecclesiastes 10:7

You can work hard and do all you can do. But if God doesn't show up, put hard work aside

There are forces you don't know where they are coming from. Sometimes they attack your mind. Sometimes they attack your behavior

Something you never anticipated will happen. A report from the hospital you never expected. A crisis from nowhere

Wherever the devil has done his works, receive God's best right now. Let it happen in 24 hours.

Elijah prayed earnestly

James 5:17

James gives us insight into the ministry of Elijah. He prayed earnestly

Some will tell you, do what you can and leave the rest. But James says Elijah prayed earnestly

Earnestly comes from the Greek word ektenos. It means to stretch beyond limit

It is an athletic word, used to describe an athlete stretching his last muscle

This is Elijah, a man of like passion. This is also Elijah who prayed earnestly

A man of like passion: a man with human frailties. In another translation, Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have, with feelings, affections and a constitution like ours

If you ever doubted, Elijah doubted. If you ever asked, why am I going through this, Elijah also had reasons to ask

This Elijah had to stretch beyond himself to become the Elijah God had respect for

If he continues to be the one in his feelings, the one who is scared, he will never bring down rain

Stretch

The generation that seeks his face says: I am not feeling good, but I must stretch it

I'm not feeling like God sees me, but I will stretch. I'm not feeling like something is about to happen, but I'm going to stretch this prayer

I may have prayed for 30 minutes last week, but devil, we have come to a new week. I'm stretching this prayer to 1 hour

Stretch your faith. Stretch your zeal. Stretch your passion. Stretch the word. Stretch your declaration. Stretch your testimony

If I remain in my feelings, instead of stretching I will be minimizing

There are days all I will do is have tears come down my eyes. But one thing is sure: I'm going to stretch this prayer, my passion, my declaration

Elijah sends his servant, go and see, is the prayer working. The servant says, I did not see anything. He puts his head back again: I'm still stretching, I'm still on this matter

2 Timothy 1:12

We know what he said about us. We are going to stretch it. The devil said give up, get tired. You met the wrong people. We are here to stretch it

Two options

An Elijah in his feelings, a man subject to like passions. And another Elijah saying, I don't deny how I'm feeling, but I'm going to stretch

I don't deny what they said and what they wrote in the report, but I'm going to stretch beyond the report. Stretch beyond the lie of the enemy

I know you are tired. I know you are discouraged. I know you are afraid. I know you are saying, Lord, whatever will be will be

It is what you stretch into that you will become

If the Lord Jesus prayed until the fashion of his countenance was altered, that is a level of stretching Luke 9:29

Epaphras prayed fervently Colossians 4:12

Where do I choose to be in my feelings? Where do I choose to be in my fears? I choose to stretch

Your son will not die. It will not end the way the devil planned it. You will not lose what God has given you. By Monday morning before midday there will be a sound of good news.

There is a season when the devil will tell you it has already ended, nothing is going to come out of it. Let the devil know Judges 14:14

Pray again, go again

Assignment: compare James 5:18 with 1 Kings 18:43. He prayed again. In 1 Kings 18, what looks like that? Go again

If I can pray again, I can go again

The last time they saw you, you were discouraged and tired. Now they are seeing you again

Between my discouragement I took time to pray again. When I was done praying again, he said to me, you can go again

I know the last one did not click. I went back and prayed again, and he said to me Jeremiah 29:11

He said to me Joel 2:25

He said to me Romans 8:28

Don't tell me I won't rise again, because I am praying again. Don't tell me I will not be blessed again, I will not experience favor again. I am praying again

Some of you told yourself, I'm not going to go again, I'm not going to talk about this thing again. It's a lie Proverbs 28:1

After this service I will send an SMS again. I will send the email again

When we are done praying again, we show up again

In the place of prayer he medicates us. In the place of prayer he puts back capacity. In the place of prayer he kills the flesh

Don't be surprised that you saw me where I was yesterday, last week, last month, and now here I am going again

A prayerful person can confuse you. One moment they are in their feelings, the next moment they are walking about telling the devil off

People wonder, we thought you were crying yesterday. No sir, I prayed again. That's why I raised my head

Romans 8:33

They are still wondering why you didn't break into pieces. They saw how broken you were last week, but here you are standing, firm and strong.

Between that time and now, I prayed again Psalm 91:1 to Psalm 91:2

• You will go again. You will get it again. This time on a higher level.
• Your marital destiny will be restored again.
• The last door they shut, you thought it was the only door.
• Whether it is your prayer point or not, somebody better is coming.

First the word of the Lord, then my word

1 Kings 17:1

In 1 Kings 17 Elijah declared there will be no rain except according to my word. In 1 Kings 18:1 the word of the Lord comes: show yourself to Ahab and I will send rain

It was James who told us that before he declared it, he had prayed earnestly that there would be no rain. Before it became his word, it was first the word of the Lord

Some believers, when they want to feel like men of the spirit, quote "according to my word." That scripture does not exist in isolation. It came because this man had prayed earnestly

He was so assured of the word released to him that he pronounced it as his word

There is a way I soak into the word so that it is not just the word I read in the Bible. The word has become my word

Great men and women who survived difficult seasons will tell you there was a time, it might be one verse or one declaration, when that scripture was no longer everybody's word. It was their word

The generation that seeks his face says: Lord, your word is my word

My need must serve heaven's need

1 Samuel 1:11

Hannah had to pray: God, if you give me this child I will give him back to you

Heaven needed a prophet, a priest and a judge. Samuel encapsulated all three. Heaven had a need. Hannah had a need. Hannah's need was going to serve heaven's need

Elijah closing the heavens and opening them was not for show. The Baal worship was too much, and the kingdom must be advanced

Hannah said: let my need serve your need

What I do not want is a car that will feed my carnality. I don't want more money that will cause me to lose my vision. The devil will be setting you on a wrong route

You never used to be this disobedient to God until things became better. You never used to be this arrogant until things started showing up for you

Lord, teach me to realize my need: how will this serve you?

If I cannot find how this thing will serve your kingdom, then it is not a need

Lord, if you bless me with more money, how will it advance your kingdom? I will reach out to these people. My need is serving your need

The reason you locked your next breakthrough is that you spent the former one on yourself. When the former one came, there was no God inside it

Where is God in your finances? Where is the plan of God in your career?

Once there is an open door, all you remember is me, myself and I

The generation that seeks his face says: Lord, you are in this matter. When you open the door, you are here. When you bless me, you are here.

When the access comes, you are here. When your hand is stretched forward towards me, you are here

This can never be about me. So you don't sabotage the new things

The one you are chopping now is nothing compared to what is coming. Include God in this one

You have nothing to prove to anybody. Your journey is your journey. Your destiny is your destiny. Your future is your future

Make sure anything you are buying is what you need and what you love, so that you don't buy things you don't need to please people who never see it

If you live for their applause, you will die for their frown

Once my life, my assignment, my calling serves your need, I must find you in everything

The sound of the abundance of rain

1 Kings 18:41

You cannot go through a drought of three and a half years and be hearing the sound of one year of rain

The abundance of rain means all the years where there was no rain will come at the same time. So it is going to be 20 years

Whatever I lost, I am getting all back.

Elijah didn't hear the sound and keep it to himself. As soon as he heard the sound of the abundance of rain, he went and announced it 1 Kings 18:44

In this kingdom, if God ever causes you to hear the sound, prophesy it. Shout it

We have prayed again. You are good to go. Go again. Run again. Win again. Be favored again. Let the door open again.

Communion

Throughout October we have communion. We pray over every liquid you have, it ceases to be ordinary, it is the blood of Jesus.

We pray over every substance you have, it ceases to be ordinary, it is the flesh of Jesus

The communion in your hand is the sound of the abundance of rain. Nothing missing, nothing broken. Eat of the flesh of Jesus and drink of the blood of the new covenant. I decree it is done.

Offering

• My Father, whatever I have, you are a part of it.
• From today I am deliberate, I am intentional in involving you in every blessing, every opportunity, every open door.
• I raise my offering, my tithe, my partnership. You are involved in every part of my life.

Closing blessing

Let the hand of the Lord be upon your life. Let a new season open over your destiny. Every yoke is broken.

Whatever runs in the prophetic DNA of our ministry, let the same run in your own life.

This week will be one of your best weeks so far. Everything will work for your good.

The Lord is giving you the former rain, the latter rain and the present rain. God is granting you access on every side. Nothing missing and nothing broken.
