God Has Come to Visit You This Weekend

The Lord says whatever barriers and obstacles that existed between you and him in the past — he has rolled them away. He said: I have rolled away like a cloud your transgressions and like a mist your iniquities. Come, let us reason together, plead your case that you may be justified.

The work that Jesus did on the cross settled every accusation, every condemnation, every finger-pointing the enemy has against you. There is an arm outstretched and waiting for you.

Create the Atmosphere That God Can Inhabit

In Psalm 47:5 — God goes up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. That is how he comes and how he goes. The trumpet, the saxophone, the keyboard — there is a purpose for their creation. They were created to herald God's coming and going. When God wants to descend, praise does a tremendous work.

Create an atmosphere that God can inhabit around you — in your car, in your home. Get speakers in the parts of your house where you function. Put non-stop worship — especially in the night times and early hours of the morning. Not just noisy music, but anointed worship. The enemy will not come near your dwelling. In Psalm 91 — he that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Get the things that contaminate your faith out of your house. If there are movies that inject fear, cancel them. If there are TV programs that activate doubt, block them. Get the things that activate your faith. You need news and information — but you cannot stay hooked on that. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The positive information entering your inward man must be higher than the negatives. Otherwise you will have a lot of information but be spiritually starved, dwarfed, and anaemic.

The Famines of the Last Days Are Not for You

About 12 different times in the Bible there were famines. In each of those times, God's people made their biggest breakthroughs during those famines.

Joseph became prime minister and all the economic breakthroughs came during seven years of famine. Abraham and Lot came out so wealthy during famine that the land could not contain both of them. Isaac sowed in the land during famine and reaped a hundredfold the same year. Jacob's family was fed through Joseph's stored wisdom during the most severe famine recorded.

During abnormal times, God does abnormal miracles.

God said to Isaac during his famine: Stay in this land and I will bless you. Isaac asked the question — how do I plant crops when there is no rain? And God gave him a breakthrough idea: there are two sources of water in the earth. You have been depending on one — rain from heaven. But there is water under the earth. You can dig wells. Use irrigation. When one door closes, there is another door opened wide.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Times of hardship are times of major economic advancement.

This Season Requires Hearing His Voice

God has innovations he wants to show you. He has directions, revelations, guidance, and new economic models that he wants to make known. Some of the things that were working in the past might not work now — he wants to show you where the world has shifted and what the next steps are.

For Abraham the direction was: go down to Egypt. For Isaac: stay in this land. Each received a specific word, and each obeyed that specific word and prospered. The question is not whether God can provide — the question is: are you hearing what he is saying to you specifically?

Without faith it is impossible to please God. In Hebrews 11:6 — Whosoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

You do not come to God and go empty-handed. He is a rewarder. He is not calling you to punish you — he is calling you to enhance you. He wants to make deposits.

Bring at least three expectations — vessels — before God. Faith without hope stops working. When the widow stopped bringing vessels, the oil stopped. The oil did not stop because God stopped — the oil stopped because expectation stopped. Faith is the husband of expectation. Without a goal, without hope, the power of God will not manifest.

Two Instructions for This Season

• Find at least three people to bring into contact with the glory. As you sow the glory into their lives — what they call their mountain, their sickness — it dissolves. And you will reap a harvest of glory in your own life. What you are sowing into them, you will receive a greater measure back.
• Have at least three specific things before God. Come with specific expectation. Do not arrive empty-handed. Faith must have a target. Expectation must have a form.

Father, we honor you. We come before you with expectation. Let the glory that is in this place this weekend saturate every life. Let the things they call mountains dissolve on contact with your presence. Let there be creative miracles — healings, breakthroughs, divine strategies released. Let long-standing issues be cancelled overnight in the name of Jesus Christ.

The famines and recessions going on in the land are not for you. About 12 different times in the Bible there were famines, and in each of them God's people made their greatest breakthroughs. What God showed Joseph, he is showing you. What he showed Isaac, he is showing you. There are innovations hidden for this season — receive them now. Your season of breakthrough begins now, in the name of Jesus.
