Destroying Evil Patterns

Matthew 22:25-29: Now there was with us seven brethren, and the first when he had married a wife, deceased, and having no issue, left his wife unto his brother... And the last of all, the woman died also. Jesus answered and said unto them: Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

When a man lacks a good comprehension of the workings of scripture and the manifestation of God's power, he is thrown into error.

Patterns are structures. Patterns are sequences of how things happen. Patterns are stereotype structures on how events take place.

There are many of us today when we tell people about our life, our life is like a script, like a movie. There are things you cannot tell people because they just can't believe it actually happened to you. There are things you tell people and when they hear the kind of things that happened to you — right from when you were growing up, through your teenage years, your youth — they ask, "Are you sure all these things happened in one lifetime?"

There are so many things people go through that they keep to themselves because they can't share them with anybody — because of how gory and shameful. But I serve a God that loves me despite my stories. I serve a God that loves me despite whatever I've been through. Despite the challenges of my life, it doesn't matter what I've been through — yet he still loves me. Because the Bible says in Jeremiah 31:3, he has loved me with an everlasting love. The Bible says in John 15:13, "Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." 1 John 3:1: "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God." John 13:1: "Having loved his own that were in the world, he loved them unto the end."

What Jesus Said about the Story

Jesus never responded to the question of whose wife the woman would be in heaven. As far as Jesus was concerned, the matter didn't happen in heaven — it happened on earth. What happens on earth must be addressed on earth. I thank God for heaven, but this is where the matter happened. This is where Satan rose up against you. But there is a power called the power of God.

Jesus looked at that story and said, "This story you narrated is an error. This story you narrated was not supposed to be. This story you narrated should not have happened at all." The people walked in error because they didn't know the scripture. They walked in error because they lacked the power of God.

If you knew the scripture, those things would not have happened. If you knew the scripture, you would not have been wasted. If you have the power of God, you can't die the way others died. If you know scripture and you know the power, you can't be wasted and killed like a chicken.

Everything stolen from you shall be restored. Anything done against you, anything done against your family, anything done against your life, anything done against your home — it shall be corrected.

Three Things Revealed in That Story

1. Satan Hates a Peaceful Family

   When a family is peaceful — the man loves his wife, the wife loves the husband, the children are doing well — Satan is angry. He wants crisis. He wants pain.

   But Jeremiah 31:1: God said, I shall be called the God of all the families of Israel. God is a God of families. Psalm 68:6: God setteth the solitary in families. Your family is connected to God. Your home is connected to God. Your children are connected to God. There is nothing the devil can do about it.

   Every ungodly invasion into your family, every ungodly outrage in your family — today I silence it.

   And the pattern shows: you see a spirit that battles people who always attempt what is right. There are people anytime they do the wrong thing it appears as though things come through, but when they choose to do the right thing battle rises up against them. They ask themselves: "Is it now a crime to do what is right? Is it not a crime to live holy? Is it not a crime to love the Lord?"

   David said, "When I saw the prosperity of the wicked, I was wondering — there is no trouble in their going. Their day-to-day living seems colorful. I was worried until I entered into the tabernacle of God. When I entered the tabernacle of God, I saw their end. When I saw their end, I was comforted. Even though I have no money in my pocket now, I have a good end." For I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the Lord — thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. There is a plan that God has for your life. God has a plan for your child. God has a plan for your spouse. God has a plan for your family.

   Satan hates a perfect family. The devil doesn't want to see the husband and wife in peace together. He will introduce division.

   Queen Vashti — she and the king had separate feasts, separate events, separate gardens. When you have a dream that is different from your husband's dream, when you have a dream that collides with the dream of your head, then there will be a problem. And the enemy amplified the misunderstanding. What was a matter between a husband and wife that could have been resolved quietly and peacefully was amplified — and Vashti was deposed. Vashti was still alive and somebody else sat on her throne. She was still alive and somebody took her position — because an evil mouth spoke against her. Because one wrong man spoke, a place became empty.

   No one can take your place. No one can take your seat. No one can take your position. No one can take what God has given you.

   I prayed for someone. She had nobody to defend her, nobody to speak for her. That is the danger of being alone.

2. A Spirit That Attacks Those Who Do Right

   I see a spirit that battles people who always attempt what is right. These are the people who love God, live holy, marry legally — and yet seem to face the most. The devil begins to suggest: "How come my friends who are doing the wrong thing seem to be progressing and I'm not?"

   David wrestled with this until he entered the tabernacle of God. You have to see their end to be comforted. God has a plan for your life and your family. Don't look at your child as a wasted product.

3. The Power of God Corrects What Was Done

   There is a power called the power of God. As you hear the word of God, anything that has been done against you, against your family, against your life, against your home — it shall be corrected.

   If you know scriptures and you know the power, you can't die the way others died, you can't be wasted how others are wasted. I came to effect the scripture. I came to effect the power.

We command bonds to break. We command limitations to break. We command hardships to break. In the name of Jesus, we command every evil pattern to be destroyed from the root. Every pattern of defeat, every pattern of failure, every pattern of untimely death — we command it broken now in the name of Jesus. Lord Jesus, visit me personally. Visit my children. Visit my home. In your name we pray. Amen.
