The purpose of shining

When you are talking about shining and unleashing the glory of God, understand that there are two perspectives to light and the efficacy of light

He was in a completely covered shed on a farm.

There was no light, but he could tell when the sun rose because of a small hole in the roof through which the sun's rays hit him

He noticed two things. Number one, he saw the rays of the sun. But even more importantly, by the rays of the sun he saw everything else.

He could now see what was in that dark barn

When we talk about shining, you have two options. You can think of shining from a personal, aggrandizing standpoint, where you want attention drawn to yourself

We have religious ways of justifying selfishness, "so that the world will know the hand of the Lord is upon me." Make no mistake, God likes to advertise His goodness on your life.

But there is a purpose to your rising

The efficacy of light is not just that we can see it, but that by it we can see everything else

If you see someone standing 30 minutes looking at the light, you will think the person is not okay.

"What are you looking at?" "It's so beautiful." Even decorative lights, you admire them, but the real function is how they beautify the room

As a light, understand that there is a purpose to your shining. By you others get blessed. By you the nation gets blessed. By you the world gets blessed

Be a blessing in the very place of your need

Something shook me in Bible study recently. I never heard it said anywhere, and it is right there

Genesis 20

Abraham found himself in the region of the Philistines. He was afraid they would forcefully take his wife, so he told them she was his sister. It was a white lie, because they were actually related

When Abimelech took Sarah to his bosom, the Lord said, "You are in trouble." Everybody in that entire region became unproductive biologically

Abimelech said, "I didn't know. I just went by what he told me."

God said, "I hear you, but he is going to have to pray for you and for the nation, for the wombs of everyone to be open again"

Maybe it never dawned on you: at the time Abraham was laying hands on women in an entire nation for their wombs to be open, his own wife was barren at home

Sometimes we struggle to manage the contradiction that the very things we are struggling with, God is saying, be a blessing to others in them

For some, the reason they have not listened to God is that they expect Him to perfect and clean up their life first. Moral consecration is important

But if you think you have to be adequate, have a certain degree of money or influence, for God to use you, you will not move.

"How is God going to use me to bless people looking for the fruit of the womb when I am looking for it myself?

How is He going to use me to pastor married people when I am single myself?"

2 Corinthians 3:5 to 2 Corinthians 3:6

His wife at home was barren, and yet he prayed for a whole nation trusting for the fruit of the womb, and God answered

Like Paul said 2 Corinthians 6:10

This is the mistake we make in the church. You are single and trusting God for a husband and he has not come, so you start avoiding weddings.

You are trusting God for a child, so you start avoiding naming ceremonies

The God of the Bible will many times push you into the very environment where people are looking for the same thing you are looking for

He will put it on you to be a blessing to them

You can't understand why Job, with all he is going through, should pray for his friends. But it is when Job has prayed for his friends Job 42:10

Abraham had done everything. No child came. He trusted God, he sang, he attended services, he gave everything, he made confessions, he received prophetic words, and nothing happened

But when he did this in Genesis 20, look at Genesis 21:1

The moment he was instrumental to the blessing of people trusting for the fruit of the womb, the exact next chapter, first verse

Has it happened to you?

You have a lot you are praying for, and you go to the place of prayer to ask God for those things, but instead God is telling you how to be a blessing.

And you say, "Yes, I know." But He is still telling you where to go and who to be a blessing to

You are the light of the world. Your strongest purpose will be found in service

Pastor Godman spoke of somebody who was serving at the conference last year with a sack letter. Some people, you won't see them in church again.

You don't know what people are going through who are serving God from their heart, diligently

The person seated by your side who has been praising God since morning, you don't know what the person is going through

It is your destiny to be a blessing in spite of the challenges you are faced with. Don't make it a requirement for God to settle you first before you are a blessing

It is common to say, "Why haven't you been coming?" "I have things I am dealing with." You think the people who serve in church don't have things they are dealing with?

Even your pastors, if they sat down and told you what is happening

Testimony: the accident

I was going through my photo gallery and I saw one picture and laughed. I was on stage with my wife at a symposium and the camera caught us laughing

A few minutes before, I had just heard that my PA, who had gone to pick my kids, had an accident with my car. The car somersaulted three times. They rushed him to the hospital.

I didn't know if he would make it. But as the man of God I must sit, be cool, be calm

What hurt me the most was that morning when he came for the car keys, I had been praying. I was literally praying when he entered. I had a word of knowledge

This is someone who almost every day picks my children and drops them off.

But that day I called him and said, "You will not pick my children today."

My wife came out and asked, "What do you mean? Who will do it?" I said, "You will not." I had a nudge from the Holy Ghost.

I said, "Get someone else to do it." He said yes

When he had gone, I had a strong nudge again. I opened the door and called him back. I called his name three times and said, "My children, my children, my children, don't pick them"

Because we had a conference and everybody was busy, he just went. He thought, "I will explain to pastor that everybody was busy"

I thank the Lord it happened as he was going, not when he was coming back. I love ministry, but not more than family. My children were very young then, two and three.

A car tumbling three times with toddlers at the back would not have been a good thing

He came out without a scratch. The car was gone. We sold the SUV for 200,000 as scrap. The next Sunday we went to church with an Uber, no question, nothing 2 Corinthians 6:10

That is why if you judge us when God begins to bless us, an angel may slap you, because you don't know what we have been through

Matthew 5:14

You are a blessing to your community. Start seeing yourself as a contributor, not a consumer.

Not coming to church all the time asking, "Bless me, give me, give me." Start asking the Lord, how can I be a blessing to my world, to my community?

The new creature is about ministry

Every time we quote 2 Corinthians 5:17 we use it for salvation. You are not exactly wrong, but it is not categorically about salvation. It is about ministry. I will prove it to you

2 Corinthians 5:18 to 2 Corinthians 5:20

So what is the thing that is new in your life? You have new priorities in Christ

When you were in the world, you lived for selfish desires. You could just wake up, and there is a japa wave, and you relocate.

But now you must ask the Lord, because in that community where He put you, He put you there for a reason

You are an ambassador for Christ. Everywhere I find myself, I am an envoy for God's glory

John 4:10

Jesus could sit on a well and speak to a woman. You can come to a point in your walk with God where everyone you come across is God's opportunity to change their lives

If you want to step into a new dimension of power, start serving. Spiritual gifts will not grow in your life if you are only using them to advance your life

Even in nations where guns are permitted, there are some guns that will never be for civilians. The power you want will not manifest until you apply yourself in the service of God's work.

It is not for civilians. It is not for self-aggrandizement

If people part the ocean in the Bible, it is so that they can free those who are slaves, not because they are late for work

The modern day Christian will never enter a bus again if he has a road. He won't save anybody. "Ah, I'm late for work"

If you live on the island, the ocean you have to part is in front of your street

Genesis 12:3

How to be a blessing to your generation

This is a covenant with God, a personal interaction between you and God. I leave God to show His power in your life

A man can encounter God and the next 100 years of his life are settled. The next 200 years. The next 400 years

Just like Abraham, before God will bless your generation through you, He will first bless your immediate family through you

You can't be a blessing to your generation except you are a blessing to your family

Testimony: the brilliant student

In my university days, one of the most brilliant people I have ever seen. He did an engineering course for five years, had only one B, all the rest A's, and finished with 4.99

He developed a mental issue in his second year. He was from a wealthy home. They took him everywhere and nothing got better.

They were trying to book an appointment with a bishop so he could pray for them, and they had not been given one

One day I was walking past him on campus and when he passed I sensed a strange dark presence.

I called him back quickly and asked, "Do you have a few minutes, can I pray for you?" He said yes

I called him to a room. I called my wife, Sister Laju, who was in the fellowship, and some other people. The spirit realm is real

If you asked that boy when he was conscious what was wrong with him, he couldn't articulate it. He thought it started around the time he wrote an exam

As soon as I laid hands on him, I heard another voice. His spirit man cried out, "Help me. He has tormented me since I was a child"

Then I heard another voice, a dark, mocking voice.

It said, "On June 6, 1996, someone cast me out of a person in Benin and I left and entered him as a baby."

I asked, "Why?" It said, "Because he was handsome. He made us jealous"

When I was done praying for him I asked, "When is your birthday?" He said, "June 6." That was the day he was born

I am telling you this for a reason. Some of the things we do in church, people take for granted.

When you give birth to a child and bring him to a naming ceremony for your pastors to lay hands, you think it is a joke

When a child is born, before he gets to the age of accountability, before he grows up to know the Word of God for himself and know how to pray for himself

He depends on the covering of his parents

Parents who choose to be unserious. Maybe because they were very wealthy, they said, "All these church people"

I have seen firsthand the importance of simple things like naming ceremonies, that you can enter into an agreement with God on behalf of your children. They don't even have to be born.

You will settle your next generation. That is what we are here to do

The power of dedication: Hannah

1 Samuel 1:11

In this generation, we say you must ask the child.

When the child is born and grown enough to understand, you say, "I have dashed you to God. We decided in your absence that you will serve the Lord"

You have the right as a father to decide for your family

• As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:15

The power of prophecy: Zechariah

Luke 1:13 to Luke 1:15

You can train children either by instructions, or by instructions and prophecy

It is one thing for a child to grow up and say, "Alcoholism is bad for you."

But when prophecy superimposes, when an angel says because of his purpose the glory of God will preserve him and set him straight to the degree that he will not be given to wine

When he grows, because of the hand of God upon him, when sinners entice him, he will not consent. These are dealings with God that you can settle on behalf of your children

Testimony: my mother's words

It was later that I had to ask my mom what she did to me. Even when I wanted to stray, in secondary school people would gather and discuss bad stuff.

I wanted to join them and they said, "Let's not spoil you." I said, "I want to spoil," I volunteered myself, and they said no

I was not born again, but there was something following me. It annoyed me.

People would see me and say, "Oh, you pastor."

Much later she told me that every day during her pregnancy she placed her hand on her tummy and said, "This one will serve the Lord. He will do ministry"

Testimony: my daughter's dream

I am watching my children. Prophetic kids, dangerously prophetic. My 8-year-old daughter has given us three notable directions by dreams.

Weeks ago, an investment of more than 10 million, I told them I am not doing it again because of a dream she had. I am led by experience

When our last born, the boy, was going to be born, my daughter woke up one morning and said, "Daddy, I had an amazing dream." That was the first time she had a prophetic dream

She said, "We were in the car in traffic and I was eating at the back and a woman wearing rags knocked on the window and said, please give me some of your food.

I gave her some of my food. She turned into an angel and said, ask me anything." Of all the things a 7-year-old could ask, she said, "I want a baby brother." The angel said, "Tomorrow"

I called my wife and said, "Come and hear what your daughter said." This was around August. By January my wife was pregnant and we didn't know

The younger girl developed a new habit. She started rubbing my wife's stomach every day, hugging it. My wife asked why she was doing that. She said, "My baby brother is in there"

That month we were not expecting a baby. We did things to avoid having a baby that month, things that did not work.

When my wife started feeling funny and said she wanted to check, we checked and there was a baby in there

My wife asked the younger one, "What if it's a girl?" She was five at the time. She said, "No, I ordered a boy from heaven"

• Put your surname in this: The generation of the ___ shall be blessed.

The Abrahamic blessing

Genesis 21:14

Do you know how strong the Abrahamic blessing is? When he was sending Hagar out, he sent her with a morsel of bread. Just a morsel of bread

It is either of two things.

Either he is a very selfish and wicked man, because he was rich and could have given her an inheritance

Or he knew the efficacy of the Abrahamic covenant, that even if you go with nothing, you will not lack

Sure enough, in the wilderness the food ran out, the water ran out. She turned and cried to the Lord. The angel of the Lord revealed Himself Genesis 21:17 to Genesis 21:18

That is the Abrahamic blessing at work. She called Him El Roi, the God who sees me. With Him I can never be stranded. Even with a morsel of bread I cannot be stranded Genesis 16:13

Financial blessing is a real thing. Don't let anyone talk you out of it

There are some people who, even with just a morsel of bread, cannot lack.

That Abrahamic blessing makes you leave your kindred and go to a place you don't know, and yet not only do you prosper, God gives you a nation

It is a real blessing. He is still the same God today. Just watch what He will do through your lineage

In Babylon, Jews were considered special talents. Not just Jews, Chaldeans too. For special advisors, the king wanted astrologers, magicians and Jews. There was something about Jews that made them considered special talents

Daniel 1:3

Look for nobles and look for children of Israel. Children of Israel are a class on their own

• The generation of the ___ shall be blessed.

See your lineage as stars

Genesis 15:5

It is possible to see your prophetic lineage with the eyes of the spirit, and everyone is a star

When God wants to show you what your lineage will look like, you will have to look up, because none of them will be there

• I have seen all my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and none shall be small.
• I see stars. Presidents from my lineage, generals from my lineage, great men of God from my lineage, responsible contributors to society. Not one nuisance in my lineage.
• I have looked at the stars, I have seen all of them as stars. You cannot count them. No small name in my lineage.
• All of them doing great things for God in their different spheres of influence.

You can only curse a family that was not blessed

The church, especially in Nigeria and in Africa, has talked about generational curses and how to break them

You can only curse a family that was not blessed. You can only put a curse on a family that was vacant when it comes to spiritual influence

Balaam was hired to curse the children of Israel and he discovered by observation that it could not work Numbers 23:23

Isaiah 49:25

Balaam didn't discover that by reading a book. He tried it and it didn't work. When he tried to send demons, they didn't stick. When he tried to send sickness, it didn't stick

Look at your entire lineage. All the families are strong. They have children. They are blessed. They are serving the Lord. That is your lineage

• I have seen their future. The Lord has shown me.

Abraham settled it 400 years before

Genesis 15:13

400 years before, Abraham had seen all the troubles his descendants would go through and he had settled it with God

So when Pharaoh rose up, he was 400 years late.

He was finished before he started, because 400 years before a man of the spirit had seen it, offered sacrifice to the Lord about it, and settled it

Exodus 9:16

He was already late

A covenant can be so strong that 400 years later, when the people cried out, what God remembered was His promise to Abraham Exodus 2:24

Your walk with God can be so strong that when your grandchildren are going through something, God will remember what He told you

Your covenant with God can be so strong that any stupid boy who wants to molest or sexually assault your daughters will be in serious trouble. The God who judged Abimelech is still alive and well

Even in places where your eyes cannot follow them and your bodyguards cannot follow them, the angels of the Lord can

Because Sarah was in Abimelech's room, the entire nation was in trouble. What kind of lineage is this? Is it the same God that you serve?

• The generation of the ___ shall be blessed.

The promised land

Genesis 15:16

The promised land the children of Israel went into 400 years after Abraham first went there as a stranger.

This is the privilege of the prophetic. You can step into the future of your generation. You can interact with it

This is how wealthy my children will be in the realm of the spirit. I have been there. I have interacted with it. This is a good land.

I have done business with God to settle that this is where they will inherit

He was in their future. He saw their future. He covenanted with God about their future.

So when these people came, blessing was following them and miracles were following them because of the dealings of their great grandfather. I will bring them here

Sometimes when you are praying, the Lord takes you to places. You may be a man of God pastoring 20 people, but as you pray you see yourself pastoring 2,000.

You may be someone with a small shop, but you see yourself sending deliveries to the nations of the world, and you wonder why

When God wants to do something in your future, He must show you pictures. He must call you to look at the stars

The privilege of the spirit is that when all the things you have been trusting for eventually happen, they feel very familiar. You have been there before in the realm of the spirit.

God said, "I will bring your children here"

Mentorship

Sometimes God brings people close to you whose today resembles your tomorrow

Abraham was the pioneer. He had nobody to look up to, so God had to say, look at the stars.

Isaiah 51:2

God may not tell you to look at the stars. There will be a physical example of what God wants to do

In about 2015 or 2016, I went to a leadership academy and I saw the excellence, how everything was done, how beautiful the church was. My heart quaked

I said, "Lord, will You ever use me like this? How can a church be so blessed, so comfortable?" I heard the Lord clearly.

He said, "I will give you a property in this very vicinity. Not far from here"

Maybe you are just starting and you are seeing captains in your industry and wondering, "Will God ever use me?" This is the privilege of the prophetic.

God can take you in the cool of the night and show you what your future will look like. You step into it prophetically first

Exodus 3, Exodus 19

The place where the burning bush occurred was the same place where the law was given

This is what it means to be a prophet. You first encounter God, and on the strength of that encounter you bring people out of slavery and bring them to the place of your encounter

You can't take people where you have not been. As the one God wants to use to set a new prophetic precedent for your family, God will first take you

• The hand of God will land on you in a terrific way. You will be amazed how your life will change from here.
• It will be as if there is a new heaven over your head. You are stepping into a new season of prophetic ease.
• Receive it in the name of Jesus.

Psalm 112:1 to Psalm 112:2

I read it so that you can receive it prophetically. This is the testimony of your life

Is it possible that my lineage can be blessed because of my own personal dealings with God? The answer is yes

If you have children, mention all their names. If you don't yet have children, still mention their names. That is the privilege of the prophetic. Bless them

For those trusting for the fruit of the womb

God first showed Abraham his descendants in the sky. He didn't have any biological child yet

You may know how to pray. You may know how to fast. Do you know how to see? Have you seen your children in the realm of the spirit? Have you named them?

Have you imagined yourself coming back from work? You honk and the children run towards you, hug you and carry your back

This principle of meditation must be emphasized in the church. God will take you out and say, see your children. Look at how many they are. Go and name them. Interact with them now.

They are coming

Ways to invoke generational blessings

1. Training

   Genesis 18:19

   We like to receive prophetic words, but there is a training. God could count on Abraham

   God doesn't like to do something that will end with you.

   If you have the discipline to train your children in the way of the Lord, because God likes to identify with generations, He will identify with you

   You cannot accidentally raise children

   Some of us have patterned our lives according to the dictates and modes of the world. You are too busy to raise children right now.

   I know the way the economy is, both man and wife have to work from sunup to sundown

   But in our kingdom there is a principle of rest Exodus 16

   The principle of the Sabbath is so powerful that manna will fall on the first day, the second day, the third day. On the sixth day, manna for two days will fall

   That is the privilege of the prophetic. I can take one day off and not lack. It is one of the ways to show that you serve the living God

   Sabbath was one of the ways the children of God distinguished themselves from the world

   As a child of God, you must have time for God. You must have time for your family

   First receive it by faith that I will have one day off in the week and I will not lack. Receive it prophetically

   You might go through some special seasons for a short while where you can't afford to do that, but don't make that your life

   Some people spend all their life working for money. They perfect their health to work for money, and in the evening of their life they use the money they made to repair their body.

   It makes no sense

   Proverbs 10:22

   There are a lot of rich people whose children like their money but don't like them

   A friend said to his father, "I like your money, but I don't like you, because I always saw your money but I never saw you. I wanted a father. I wanted my dad.

   You just felt that because you were sending me money to travel and buy nice things, that was enough. I wanted you"

   This is what the devil is doing to many families. You are eating, there is food on the table, there is prosperity.

   But when you are done, with your bank account full, none of your children are there

   Some people have children who want to be as far from them as possible for peace's sake. That is not the way of our kingdom

   Decide now: God is going to help me. If your relationship with your children is not strong, trust the Lord. You must repair it

   One simple way is to spend time with them, especially when they are young. Have some time every week and just do whatever they want to do.

   Ask, "What do you want to do?" They will say, "I want you to move like a horse, I want to ride on your back." Do it

   If you buy them a lollipop they won't remember, but they will never forget the words you spoke to them and the time you spent with them

2. Vision

   What kind of family do you want to have? God showed Abraham the stars. That is a vision

   Your vision will guide your training. The training regimen you take your children through will be determined by the vision you have for them

   Testimony: my father

   When I was growing up, my father's finances hit a rock. From having multiple cars in the house, the cars were disappearing

   After a while we started hearing prayer points during morning devotion that I never heard growing up. "Lord, provide school fees." School fees since when? That is when I knew there was trouble

   A picture never left my mind. My dad, who used to shop for us from the UK, went to Marina, bought fairly used clothes, brought them and unpacked them. I was about seven.

   I saw his singlet had a hole in it. He bought clothes for all of us except himself

   I said, "Daddy, where is your own? Did you buy for yourself?" He said, "No, don't worry." Honour men. You don't know what they go through, the burdens they carry

   One day, in JS2, I peeped from the window and saw my dad in school during school hours. He didn't want me to know he was coming.

   My mom later told me he came to write an undertaking that even if he couldn't pay my school fees now, he would raise the money and pay it somehow

   Everything changed in the house, the quality of food, the quality of dressing. But he never agreed to change our school

   One sure investment people don't talk about is children. As you are investing in stocks, invest in your children. That is one silent way God compensates people

   The things I have been privileged to do for my parents, all the years of financial struggle are ended forever. I moved them to a new house, got them cars.

   If I am your only investment, I will make sure you never suffer in this life

   My dad was praying for God to bless him, not knowing God would answer that prayer in me. There are places family members go because of the name Iren.

   By the grace of God, the small impact I have opens doors for them

   Meanwhile the man pushed me. I was 12 when he made me pray 12 hours. I wanted to disown him. I had watched Home Alone, so I had ideas. I wanted to run away

   When the Lord is pushing you to train your children, you don't know what God is preparing them for. Some of the ease I am experiencing is because of his labor

   My dad may not know doctrine. He may not know Greek words. But I promise you, there was no demon around our house. He had killed all of them

   We finished the MFM prayer booklet in 3 days. First day 12 hours, second day 10 hours, third day 8 hours. If you are wondering why my ministry went with breakthrough easily, there were no demons.

   I just had to build on it

   Build a vision for your family

   One of the biggest disadvantages of suffering is that it takes away vision. People who have suffered, it is hard for them to dream. Have you tried telling small-minded people what is possible?

   It is hard for them to dream

   I know you are struggling to pay rent now, but one day you will build houses and give them out. It is free to dream. Just believe God

   Do you know how intimidating it is to have been waiting for one child and God is saying, see your descendants?

   It takes love and courage to still dream after you have been praying for the same thing for years and have not received

   Prophetically, it will happen as the Lord has ordained it. When the devil steals that vision, he has stolen your future. Still dream

   • In this same house we will raise other children. We will pay other children's school fees.
   • Paying school fees has been a prayer point in the past. We will raise other people, and we will do it with ease.

   Say it ahead of time. When Paul and Silas were in prison, they praised God to the hearing of the other prisoners Acts 16:25. Don't whisper it. Say it now

   Vision is so powerful that when you encounter God through prophetic visions, your name must be changed. You must change your name to accommodate what you have seen.

   You were Abram before, now you are Abraham Genesis 17:5

   Adjust yourself to what you have seen. It will happen

   • This same Lagos, I am going to be so blessed.
   • A time will come in your lifetime when you will build a church from top to bottom and give it to a denomination. Offering might have been tough for you.
   • A time will come when you will send a message to a missionary and say, give me five names, seven names, of people whose entire families I want to fund.

3. Sacrifice

   Something very few people talk about in Genesis 15

   We keep emphasizing what happened when God showed Abraham the stars Genesis 15:6. But if we stop there, it is a mistake

   Genesis 15:8 to Genesis 15:9

   Abraham asked, "You said I will inherit this land. How shall I know?"

   Look at what God said. God says, "Bring me"

   If in your walk with God He never gives you a sacrifice to make from time to time, your walk with God is not healthy

   There is an angel I have nicknamed Angel Billing. When he appears to me it is billing: buy a car for this family, send this person to school.

   Because God knows what I have, He gave me. He doesn't ask for permission

   In January, I was praying through the night.

   At 4:00 a.m. the angel of the Lord appeared and said, "Man of God so-and-so has been dishonored for a long time. Take 1 million." And he said, "Make it cash." I don't know why

   I found his address, went and gave him. I don't know what he was going through. I just did it

   Just last week, a man of God I had never seen before said he had a dream and an angel said he should give me a certain amount.

   The angel said, "Make it cash." He said, "I don't know why." I said, "I know why. Drop it here. You don't need to know why." It is turn by turn. It will go round

   A mystery: angels and sacrifice

   Psalm 104:4, Hebrews 1:7

   One of the dimensions of the operation of the angelic is that they are the fire that comes from sacrifice. I will show you three texts to prove it

   1. Gideon

   Judges 6:20 to Judges 6:21

   The angels of the Lord ignite sacrifice with their fire

   With sacrifice, angelic presence gets stronger

   2. Cornelius

   Acts 10:4

   Many churchgoers have not had angelic encounters. Here is somebody who doesn't even really know God, but because of his generosity

   3. Manoah

   Judges 13

   Many of you have not paid attention to it.

   The angel sat down and said, "Go and bring a goat." When he sacrificed it and the fire went up, the angel of the Lord went up in the flame

   The same angels do wondrously, more wondrously, when there is sacrifice

   You want to attract angelic presence in your life? Make sure there is sacrifice from time to time. When the Lord pushes you to do something, have that culture, that attitude

   Abraham is asking God, how shall I know You will give my children all You have said in the next 400 years? And He says, give a sacrifice

   I know there are extremes to it. Please don't let the extremes drive you away from your destiny. This is the protocol of the kingdom. Generosity is a strong principle in the Word of God

4. Dedication

   Dedication on behalf of your family. You say, "I and my family will serve the Lord." That is all

   If you say that today, it doesn't matter what your father said, what your grandfather said in front of any altar, you have broken it

   You may be going through reproductive issues, and what you don't know is that the issue is sponsored by covenants entered into on your behalf by your grandparents

   Some people say, "I am in Christ, so automatically those things shouldn't happen." The devil is a rebel spirit. He doesn't follow rules.

   It is true legally, but you have to take your position and enforce what is yours

   • That strange reproductive issue you have been going through has expired now.

   You can decide on behalf of your family. As for me and my house Joshua 24:15

   May your house not be the type of house where a 9-year-old wakes up and says, "I don't feel like going to church."

   In the house I grew up in, my father would say, "I will be in the car in 10 minutes. If I look back and I don't see you..."

   Your 5-year-old says, "I don't feel like going to church," and you say, "Okay, just stay at home." No. As for me and my house, I have decided for my children, they will serve the Lord

   Confession is powerful. Mention your children, whether they are born or unborn. Mention your cousins. Mention your surname: the generation of the ___ shall be blessed

Declarations and prayers

• Jesus is Lord over my family. Jesus is Lord over my lineage.
• Any agreement entered into by any member of my family, on behalf of my family, with any other deity, I renounce it. I denounce it in the name of Jesus.
• I declare my family will serve Jesus.
• Any member of my family who practiced any strange religion, I denounce it in the name of Jesus.
• Any sickness following my family because of any door that was opened by somebody, in the name of Jesus I command it to be expelled.
• Cancer has no place in my family. Diabetes has no place in my family. Mental illness has no place in my family.

• Place your hand on yourself. Spirit of infirmity tormenting God's people, that body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. I charge you in the name of Jesus, come out now. Be healed.
• It doesn't matter how long. It doesn't matter what the doctor called it. In the name of Jesus, I command that ailment to leave your body now.
• Anyone tormented by strange voices, by sicknesses that doctors cannot even diagnose, by dreams, by nightmares: in the name above every name, I command those spirits to be expelled now.
• Where there had been generational curses, now there is generational blessing.
• Anyone who has ingested anything that is not of God, I command it to be brought out of you now.
• The anointing to pioneer. It has not been done in your family. You will be the first. You are breaking records. You are breaking limits. You are entering new territories by the anointing of the Holy Ghost.
• The anointing has come upon you for speed. The anointing has come upon you to outrun chariots. Receive it in the name of Jesus.
• That grace to pioneer, to take your entire lineage to a place that you will first enter, let that grace rest upon you now.
• Every force affecting marriages, either delay, or reproduction, or that marriages will not last, I bring an end to those agreements in the name of Jesus.
• Every embargo placed on your finances, I command it to be lifted in the name of Jesus. There is a grace for greatness.
• I see envelopes dropping from the sky and I hear the voice of the Lord say, that application has been approved. Congratulations.
• Someone has a growth around the jaw. That growth has disappeared now.
• The person who stole your wedding gown has returned it.
• Something you have ingested is coming out of you now. You feel the urge to vomit, and that poison of the enemy is ejected from you now.
• Any wayward member of your family, the same God who appeared to Saul is appearing to them. Let those relatives begin to dream right now. Let them begin to see visions of Jesus. The God who saved you has saved them.

• The generation of the ___ is blessed. My seed shall be mighty on the earth.
• There is no enchantment against my lineage. There is no divination against my lineage.
• God contends with them that contend with me. He has saved my children. He has saved my lineage.
• My generation shall serve the Lord.
