Architects of hope

Everywhere there is darkness, everywhere there is despair, God will send you as his emissary, as the answer, as the solution.

Scriptures: Isaiah 61:4, Haggai 2:3-9, Amos 9:11-12

God has desires and plans

God has desires and plans for individuals, families, communities, nations and the church Jeremiah 29:11

1. God desires to tabernacle among men 2 Corinthians 6:16, Ephesians 2:21-22
2. God desires to establish his government, his influence and his values across the earth and across every strata of human activities
3. God desires to reveal his glory and his excellence through men

The execution of God's program depends on human factors

A man must come into partnership with God. I call it the Godman partnership

We are his workmanship, we are co-labourers together with God

It is possible for God's program to fail over the life of a man or over a territory

It does not depend on his power alone. It depends on the understanding, the willingness and the alignment of vessels

When God's desire fails, there are spiritual and physical consequences

Decline of any sort, retrogression, bondage. You find it all across the nation of Israel

When God's program is executed: godliness, economic development, spiritual vibrancy, love, justice, equity

Rebuilding is a restorative process

Building initiates a new process. Rebuilding is restorative, it means something went wrong

The Jerusalem walls were once built, but something happened Nehemiah 1. He heard the report and broke down in repentance. He knew there had to be a cause

Decline has an explanation. When a man goes down spiritually, when a nation goes down, when a family fails to rise to her prophetic destiny, there is always a cause

The dry bones were not born as bones. They were once at the zenith of their productivity. Something brought them to decline Ezekiel 37. Prophesying was also a restoration process

Individuals, families, institutions, nations, even the church can be broken down like physical structures and reduced to stagnancy and irrelevance

The first law of restoration is an examination of the cause of the decline

The first law of treatment is correct diagnosis. A doctor checks vital signs, asks the patient how he feels, does blood work. Suggesting solutions without diagnosing the problem does not do justice to the problem

Satan thrives on ignorance. When you understand this, the devil will never take advantage of you again. You can become a formidable wall like Jericho, so fortified that no gang up of darkness can prevail over you

3 reasons individuals decline like a broken wall

1. A departure and a disconnection from God and his ordinances

Isaiah 24:5, Deuteronomy 29:25-28

Chaos and disorder in any destiny is usually a symptom of something gone wrong spiritually

Ordinances are the ordinances of intimacy: prayer, consecration, the word of God, corporate fellowship

Depart from them and the fire goes down, walls become broken

An anointing is coming upon you right now as a savior for your family. The grace to go back to your homes, nuclear and extended, and draw them like one being yanked out of the fire. I release that grace upon you. The mantle of a savior, the grace of a deliverer.

Except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it Psalm 127:1

The word is: return, like the prodigal son

2. The absence of wisdom and understanding

Proverbs 24:3-4

All things are built by wisdom, not just passion. Passion and hunger are only the foundation

Wisdom is a preserver, not only a builder. Without it life hits you like wind and your walls crack open

• May the spirit of wisdom rest upon your life, your church, your business.
• I receive wisdom.

Mighty works and excellence always have wisdom behind them. It is the grace of God in partnership with the wisdom of God

The manifold wisdom of God Ephesians 3:10

Wisdom is a body of light that empowers the believer. I call it systems of advantage. Your life is not in a place of advantage by default

It is impossible for your walls to remain broken in the presence of wisdom and understanding Ephesians 1:15-21, Colossians 3:16

Jesus increased in wisdom before he received power Luke 2:52. Power rests upon a destiny that has received wisdom. Without wisdom, power will not be profitable to you

Zeal not supported by knowledge leaves you a frustrated believer

3. The absence of vision and purpose

Proverbs 29:18

Nothing dies when it is connected to vision. People die in relevance when they lose vision

With plans and goals before you, you are too busy to die

4 reasons nations decline like a broken wall

1. A departure and a disconnection from God

2 Chronicles 15:3-6

Israel was without the true God, without a teaching priest, without law. That is the definition of anarchy and chaos

Nation destroyed of nation, city destroyed of city

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord

I forbid this over Kenya, over Africa, over East Africa. There will never be a time when your nation rejects God corporately.

2. The church fails to manifest as light and salt

Matthew 5:13-16

When it comes to healing the land, God does not even speak to governments. He says, if my people called by my name humble themselves and pray, I will heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14

Nineveh was a great city in decline and God sent an emissary Jonah 3. Cities can be saved, territories can be redeemed. Preach to the city, not just the person

The church is the ground and pillar of truth 1 Timothy 3:15, light and salt

In the last days the mountain of the Lord's house will be exalted and all nations will flow to it Isaiah 2:2-3

The church's responsibility is not to maintain members but to translate believers from infants to witnesses, ambassadors, apostolic emissaries

Your being born again is for your eternal destiny. Your becoming a witness is an advantage to the kingdom. Then you can be trusted as a king and a priest

Creation waits for the manifestation of sons, not members, not children. Carpenters, witnesses, ambassadors, light, salt, apostolic emissaries Romans 8:19, 1 John 3:1-2, Isaiah 9:6

When the church fails to shine, economic walls, moral walls, spiritual walls, family walls and walls of progress break

I call you repairers of the breach, restorers of the paths to dwell in. Not just a church member.
Welcome to the era of the church, the era of sons and daughters. We will display the excellency of the kingdom in a way that confounds principalities and powers. Architects of hope, repairers of the breach, rebuilders after the order of Nehemiah, rebuilders after the order of Elijah. We will rebuild families, we will rebuild institutions. We will repair the desolations of many generations.
Esther, get ready, your season is about to open. Deborah, get ready, your season is about to open. You are about to step into your season of visibility where you will manifest as light and salt.

3. The absence of visionary and transformational leadership

Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter. Like priest, like people

4. Lack of systems, policies and institutions that guarantee sustainability

Ideas and visions are not sustained by intentions. They are sustained by systems. There is nothing that lasts that is not systemic

God created man and put systems and laws. Walk in keeping with the system and the project continues without fail

When the devil attacks a territory he attacks the systems

Your business, your ministry, the church must be systemic. We must have an apostolic approach

You cannot win the world with zeal and desire alone. There is a level of intelligence that must be invested in desire to bring longevity

The pattern for rebuilding starts with the king

Nehemiah heard the report. He sat down, wept, mourned, fasted, prayed and confessed his sins and the sins of his fathers Nehemiah 1

Permission to rebuild did not come from Nehemiah. It came from the king Nehemiah 2:1-3

Nehemiah was not a rebuilder. He was a cupbearer who had a relationship with the king

The king initiated the conversation, "Why is your countenance sad?" That is the language of proximity

If you are not connected to the king, you will not have access to do any work of rebuilding

You cannot be a builder until you are related to the builder. God looked for a city whose builder and maker is God Hebrews 11:10

God is a maker. He does not just make heaven and earth, he makes men too. Come follow me and I will make you Psalm 121:1-2, Matthew 4:19

Nehemiah leveraged his relationship with the king: permission, resources, letters to other nations. When Sanballat and Tobiah arose he had the empowerment

Peter had the boat, the net, the skill. Cut away from Jesus, you will not catch fish

Before you talk tools, you talk relationship with the king

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Building cities, businesses and ministries without the Lord is labour in vain Proverbs 3:5-7

Those who will be end time rebuilders love God more than vision, Jesus more than progress, Jesus more than ministry. His presence is the secret

Most reformers never intended to be used by God. They just wanted to love him and serve him

Any other agenda that motivates your coming to Jesus corrupts your heart. The heart condition is the greatest requirement for greatness in the kingdom

Start with Nehemiah the cupbearer, not the rebuilder. Start with Elisha, who loved Elijah enough to pour water

In the beginning God, not strategy. In the beginning God, not church, not anointing, not revelation. Do not change the formula

When the wall is built and they clap for you, run back to the king. Do not stop being a cupbearer

His presence meant more to me than going to the nations. The secret is not just prayer and fasting. The secret is his presence, my hunger and my love

The rebuilding of the wall can replace the king. You can rebuild the wall for your reputation and forget the king who sent you

To send and to dismiss are two different things. When the Father sent the Word, the Word returned to the Father when the assignment was done

The tools are finite. It is only in his presence that there is fullness of joy Psalm 16:11

Reformation is powerful, but it is only an assignment. God does not call you to eat. He calls you to himself. Come follow me, not follow it

Consecration is abstinence from and devotion unto. If you only abstain from, you are still not consecrated

Where you started from is where you must remain

A fish that jumps out of water intends to go back because that is its habitat

No matter how tall a tree grows it must be connected to its root

Birds may fly for hours but they land back on trees and earth

His presence is your habitation. Do not be so distracted by being a rebuilder that you go out of water and die

There is a realm beyond fasting giants, churchgoers and prayer warriors. It is a realm of lovers, where the king can look at you and ask, what is wrong?

God builds through men

Hebrews 3:4

It is true God is a builder, but he builds through men

I will build my church Matthew 16:18. He gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the maturing and building of the saints Ephesians 4:11-12

God builds men, then uses the men he has built to build or rebuild walls. You build the block, then use the block to build the house

Only men who are built can build. Only men who are refined can refine. Only men who are reformed can reform

The first assignment is not "Lord, where are the tools to build a wall?" It is "Lord, build me." Then I become a living stone added to his spiritual house

Chaos, disorder, anarchy, disunity, lack of progress, poverty, demonic activities indicate the absence of God's government and values. They also indicate the absence of builders, rebuilders and reformers

The hope of any nation depends on the presence of refined and built men more than natural resources

4 levels of rebuilding

The project of rebuilding is not complete until it happens at four levels

1. The rebuilding of the individual

Isaiah 6:1-8

Restoration of passion, fire, hunger, your broken altar, the ordinances of intimacy

God does not start by building the nation. He starts by building individuals

Isaiah saw the Lord and said, woe is me, I am undone. Then the live coal touched his lips and iniquity was taken away. Only then did he say, here am I, send me

Do not pray "send me" until the live coal touches you

Many want to be change agents but prayer life is down, word study down, worship down, church participation down

You do not grow by default. Engage the forces: consistent prayer, the word loved more than your necessary food, worship, corporate participation Hebrews 10:25

When it was time for Elijah to call fire, he rebuilt the broken altar 1 Kings 18:30. Rebuild the altar of prayer, the word, worship, corporate participation

2. The rebuilding of priesthood

Malachi 3:3

Priesthood is the spiritual voices plus the prophetic intercessors within a territory

The advancement of God's program depends largely on the quality of priesthood in that territory

The spiritual climate of a territory reflects on the economy, on sociology, on the wellbeing of the people. Pray for your pastors

A prophetic intercessor is more than a prayer warrior. He carries intercession and the ministry of the watchman as a mandate, to allow and preserve revival

When Satan wants to destroy a territory he does not fight everybody. He starts with priesthood, the spiritual voices

You cannot raise people beyond your spiritual status. You will peg them at your level. We grow for the sake of those whose destinies are connected to us

Word ministry profits believers when 4 elements are captured: doctrine, the mysteries of the kingdom, wisdom for living, a word compliant worldview

The prophetic destiny of Kenya hangs in the spirit until there are men who can do business with God in deep waters, who pray like Anna the prophetess, like Elijah, like Daniel

• Let the fire of God fall upon the spiritual voices in Kenya.
• Let a thousand cubits be measured for us again. Deeper fire, deeper power, higher wisdom and illumination.
• Fresh fire on intercessors. I empower you with the strength of Elohim, the grace to pray and pray through until revival comes and the move of God is sustained.
• May your house, your church, your ministry be a place of prayer.
• Let the eyes of our understanding be enlightened, that we come to accurate understanding of doctrine and the ways of the spirit, and build a people of power, balanced and wholesome, with no lopsidedness.

3. The rebuilding of the church

The body of believers built into stature, maturity and responsibility. They are the change agents, the reformers, a united people

4. The rebuilding of institutions, societies and nations

Isaiah 58:12, Isaiah 61:4

When individuals walk with God, the priesthood is robust and in unity, prophetic intercessors stay in their place, and the church has maturity and stature, then societies and institutions can be built

Then the value system of heaven's government is imported across every strata of human activities

Rebuilding is a collective responsibility

Spearheaded by the spiritual voices but not limited to them. It requires unity and individual responsibility

Many walls are broken: family walls, educational walls, media walls, moral walls. The rebuilders must be many

Government cannot do it alone. Pastors, corporate institutions, law enforcement cannot do it alone. Fathers, mothers, young people, professors, media, financiers, intercessors all do their part

I count. I am an active part of God's program.

I am an active contributor to the establishment of God's government in my territory and the rebuilding of a better society.

I am a change agent. I am a builder and a rebuilder. I am a reformer. I am a blessing.

I am anointed to rebuild. My contribution is significant.

Return to the ordinances of intimacy. The secret to being Nehemiah the builder is to be Nehemiah the cupbearer to the king. God works through men, but not every man
