Revelation 5:1-14

Every time you hear a song or a melody (circular or sacred), if it strikes a string in your spirit, it is because it came from a stream that is not earthly.

Acts 2:42, Acts 6:4, Psalm 91:1

If you don't dwell, you can't make certain bold statements.

When you are consistent in the spirit (in the things of prayer, the word, worship),

one of the gifts that you get is utterance, wisdom, and visions.

It takes time to stay, it takes time to dwell — it's the word "cava."

Every time you see the glory of God manifest in an area of man's life, it is proof that the glory of God has been adhered to.

The glory of God comes from the word Kabod, Doxa — a compendium of every component of God that makes Him God.

When divine patterns are adhered to, a deposit of God's glory is deposited as confirmation that you followed His pattern.

Favour, longevity of impact, influence, and Kingdom wealth are connected to specific patterns.

As you follow the patterns, weights are deposited, and eventually certain problems are solved even without serious effort.

What prayer does in the life of a believer

Colossians 4:2

The idea of prayer is at the fabric of all things spiritual. Regardless of what the unbelievers believe, they believe in the idea of connecting to the divine.

Beyond receiving, prayer in its essence has to do with communion, fellowship, worship, and then there is the communicating of our needs, thoughts, and desires.

All of God may not be known, but God can be known by studying His nature, wisdom, and power.

Prayer is not the only key in the Kingdom; however, where prayer is not the key, it is the hand that holds the key.

The human nature is such that one has to be motivated by intelligence and reason to do things.

If you want humans to connect to spiritual things, you must reveal to them the treasure that is connected to obeying.

Everything in prayer is for the profit of the believer.

God is self-existent — God does not need any other agency to be God.

What does prayer achieve in the life of a believer?

1. Prayer creates the platform for communion and fellowship with God, deepening the believer's relationship with God James 4:8

   1. Passion always has time to give.

      Whatever the presence of God gives you, it is the same presence that keeps it.

   No man is unnecessarily special by default. What makes a person special is what rests upon them. The earth, or world, is full of selfish people who do not really care about you.

2. Prayer provides a platform for the believer to encounter the refining and transforming power of God.

   2 Corinthians 3:18 — The beholding here is in the place of prayer.

   Psalm 51:10

   Becoming like Jesus Christ is the first assignment of the life of God in you; it empowers you to embody the nature of Christ.

   You can submit yourself to prayer and not allow it to transform you. Your consciousness as you get to the place of prayer is what defines the activity that happens during the time of prayer.

   Everybody is looking for God in men.

   There are at least six parts of your life that the refiner's fire must touch:

   1. Mind
   2. Eyes
   3. Ears
   4. Tongue
   5. Especially your heart — the control room
   6. Hands and feet

   When you are changed, there are things you don't have to receive; your changed nature comes with things you are looking for by default.

   The weight of glory, level of healing, anointing, and level of wealth you seek are available, but not on this kind of vessel.

   A major part of our prayer life stems from self-righteousness — it is need-driven, not communion-driven, not intimacy-driven, not consecration-driven, and even when it is consecration-driven, it is selective holiness.

   This is where surrender happens, this is where brokenness happens — when you submit yourself here, you become like Christ in experience and holistically.

3. Prayer builds the believer's capacity to trust God.

   When you find out that your trust in God is shaking, it is difficult to stand on the promises of God; what you need is to submit yourself to prayer. Daniel 11:32

4. Prayer is the authorized channel to involve God and to call for divine assistance in the life of any man.Philippians 4:7, Jeremiah 29:12

   One of the highest proofs of prayerlessness is pride — it is proof of independence, that you are so sufficient you do not need the assistance of heaven. Jeremiah 33:3
