Bishop David Oyedepo is the founder and presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide (also known as Winners’ Chapel), one of the largest and fastest-growing Christian ministries in the world. Born on September 27, 1954, in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria, he is widely recognized for his impactful teachings on faith, prosperity, leadership, and kingdom advancement.
In 1981, following what he described as a divine mandate, Bishop Oyedepo founded Living Faith Church Worldwide, which has grown into a global ministry with branches in over 140 nations. He serves as the senior pastor of Faith Tabernacle, the ministry’s international headquarters located in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, known as one of the largest church auditoriums in the world.
Beyond ministry, Bishop Oyedepo has made significant contributions to education as the chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark University, institutions established to raise future leaders and promote excellence through Christian values. He is also a prolific author, with numerous books and teachings that have impacted millions globally.
