When we pray(The wonders of consistent prayers)
By Apostle Joshua Selman
When you make up your mind to invest in His presence, there’s no limit to what your life can become.
There are things only His presence can bring - His presence is beyond brain work and the wisdom of men.
When your all becomes his property in experience, then he will work wonders out of your life.
Proverbs 23:18
When you are making progress in your life, you must know that focus is of the essence.
Luke 18:1-7
Jeremiah 29:12
Every encounter in Koinonia is a training for you to become a person of:
Grace, understanding, stature and of power.
Knowing God’s desire and His ordination for your life is like receiving an admission letter into a higher institution of learning, it merely tells you what you can become but an admission letter does not make you become.
Your becoming mighty in the spirit that is predicated upon an exact body of spiritual knowledge.

Steadfastly - diligently, favorable or otherwise

Acts 6:4
Mark 11:24
!thessalonians 5:17
James 5:13
Prayerlessness has stunted many moves of God. There are many things God desired but never happened because prayer was the missing ingredient.
There are many ways to detect prayerlessness(or inconsistent prayer).
One of them is to look for where powerlessness is.
There is a time allotted for your destiny to happen so that it profits God’s program and once you are out of that calendar, God loves you but cannot wait indefinitely again, because your refusal to emerge will cause pain and set back for another person’s destiny. God is going to have to trust someone who has the diligence, the zeal and is willing to pay the price in righteousness to become.
Behind every man and woman of God genuinely anointed and graced is a rich and healthy consistent, many years old prayer life.
When consistency is in place, then time becomes an advantage.
What happens when men begin to give themselves consistently in prayer
-
Our spirits are quickened to discern - Philippians 4:6-7
-
We receive the prophetic blueprint for every season of our lives
Destiny is a summation of seasons. 1 Corinthians 2:9&10
One of the ways you know God is leading you is that he will not show you everything immediately.
God is more interested in what you’ve become that the answers
Prayer does not just reveal, it purifies
-
We receive direction for the next level Isaiah 30:21
Your blueprint talks of the place, but direction talks of the way to the place.
One of the major reasons for delay is because of lack of direction.
Never take a destiny step until you get clarity of direction
1 Corinthians 10:13
Direction is not only show you where to go, but also how to escape trouble
If the devil put a trap for you and you enter, it means you did not maximize the riches that come in prayer
Psalms 37:23
Matthew 7:7-8
-
When we pray, we contend against spiritual forces that fight the actualization of our destiny Eph 6:12
-
When we pray, we schedule the needed help for every season Acts 9:10
-
When we pray, we build capacity that qualifies us for greater glory Eph 3:16
The greater your capacity in the spirit, the greater the anointing that God can invest upon you, the greater the excelling of the glory that emanates from you, the greater the assignment, the greater ease of operation.
1 Corinthians 14:4
Things that happen when we don’t pray
- We faint Luke 18:1
- We die - spiritually, financially and eventually physically
-
We never birth prophecy - Prophecies fail
Prophecy fails because they are seeds, when they come from the lips of God they rest upon the womb of time, and something must be done to incubate them until they mature and they are birthed. You nurture and birth them by prayer.
