Seed, Time and Harvert (Defining your Tomorrow)
By Apostle Joshua Selman
The quality of believers that emerge from any ministry are a reflection of the quality of training they received. The quality of training ultimately depends on the level of growth and understanding of the man of God, alongside the extent of seriousness invested in the assignment.
6 dimensions of knowledge fundamentally that every believer in desiring to grow, in desiring to grow, desiring to attain unto maturity and stature in the spirit
In order priority
- You must know God and Jesus Christ His son Daniel 11:32, John 17:3
- You must know yourself, more-so who you are in Christ Psalm 49:20
The most accurate reference to finding out who you are is the word of God
- Know your place in destiny and God’s prophetic program Jeremiah 1:5, Hebrew 10:7
Everyone has a destiny in Christ. You must know the one who called you - you cannot find your assignment outside of Him
- You must understand the mysteries of the kingdom - this a compendium of bodies of truth/light that if know and understand can empower any believer to manifest this Zoe life(God life in experience)
- You must understand man - everything derives its value from man
- You must know your adversary the devil John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:8
Genesis 8:22, Galatians 6:7-9
The kingdom of God operates on laws and principlesJob 38:33 - they are called ordinances.Romans 8:1-2, Romans 3:27, Mark 11:23-24
Some laws of the kingdom
- The law of faith
- The law of unity - Genesis 11, Acts 2, 133:1-3
- The law of diligence - called in our world productivity
- The law of honour 1 samuel 2:30 - Honour is the recognizing, celebrating and if need be reward men for their uniqueness
The law of seed, time and harvest works for as long as the earth remains.
What does this law state?
Every outcome, result, consequence in life is a programmed harvest - meaning it is a resultant effect of certain seeds that have been sown over time.
Growth, failure, access to a life of defeat, joy, pain, influence… are programmed to harvest.
If you do not program your outcome, there is a desperate adversary waiting to lash upon your carelessness and he will help you program a future whose outcome you will see without actively participating in the programming.
The law of seed, time and harvest requires the knowledge of 5 elements/components
- The sower
- The seeds
- The soil
- The concept of harvest
- The reaper
The sower
The sower is anyone with a desire to see and experience any outcome on the earth is called a sower. Anyone with the ability to think, speak and act, you are sower. The first sower in the bible is God Himself. Genesis 2:4, Luke 8:5
Man is a sower Matthew 13:31, Galatians 6:7, Matthew 13:24-25
The seeds
Anything that can schedule a season of harvest is a seed for example: words, thoughts, actions and even men.
Galatians 6:7
Anything that has potential of producing an outcome is a seed(wickedness, kindness, diligence, prayer, fasting, hatred, jealousy, your service)
The beautiful thing about seeds is that your children, your grandchildren can join in the harvest.
A harvest does not come overnight, but it will come.
The soil
Primarily, the soil talks about the heart of men, it also talks about the mind. Any platform that can allow a seed to grow is called a soil - the house of God is a soil, a ministry is a soil, your heart is a soil.
The soil also talks about what you hear Genesis 3:8-10
The air is also a soil.
The harvest
Every consequence that follows your sowing is called a harvest - for some it can be a vibrant spiritual life, for some it can be favour(you prayed favour provoking prayers), end of all things. Galatians 6:8
There’s no harvest until there is first a sower, the seed(properly sown), the soil to receive the seed - when these things are right, you don’t pray for a harvest by praying for a harvest, you do so by praying to be a good sower, praying to have precious seed, and by praying for the grace to sow whether it is comfortable or not - because the law of seed, time and harvest is backed up the by the integrity of God.
The reaper
God is a reaper, man is a reaperMatthew 9:38, Angels Acts 12:5 - prayer as the seed and the angel reaping the fruits.
Satan’s seeds can be uprooted and burnt Matthew 13:30
How do you gather your harvest?
- The first way you gather your harvest is by speaking. Words can be used as seeds and sickles Ezekiel 37:7
- Engaging the mystery of praise Psalm 67:5-6
- Thanksgiving Luke 9:16, John 11:41
Jeremiah 1:10, Amos 9:13
